I read amazing reviews for Sangeeta and decided to give her a try. She did not disappoint. The level of detail and skill that she has is top tier. My brows always look natural and well manicured thanks to her. I get my brows and lip threaded and am very pleased with the staff and the atmosphere. Plenty of parking.

I must say, after the peel, the marks faded considerably! I was very pleased. I tried to get back in for an appointment over the holidays but was unable because of scheduling conflicts. I went back today for another facial. I think she did a Vitamin C facial and i was thoroughly pleased!!! Erika is my esthetician and i felt so pampered and refreshed afterwards!!!! I rescheduled 3 weeks prior to the appointment for an out of town interview, yet you had nothing more than 6 weeks out for me to reschedule nor did you make any attempts to call me afterwards? I made you aware the very first visit we would be moving so please don't tell me you lost revenue; if you do things by appointment, it should have been simple to fill that slot and I believe your road to get my money began when I told you my time in the area would be short. Yes, you do have the right to set terms in what is required for service yet you can not be deceitful in doing so or do by text after you keep my money because I requested a refund. Honest business do it upfront and give copies of it if necessary. You have done neither, ever! Let's call a spade a spade. NOWHERE on your paperwork, website or disclosures did it say anything about the alleged situations where service would be denied. I asked when you could not do it the first time, was there anything else I needed to be aware of and you said no. You also encouraged me to split the service, I imagine because you knew that once you did part of it, I could not get my money back. Remember you said you would call to reschedule me and to check on my status? I imagine not and I called and left several messages yet it was several weeks before you returned any communications every time? Yes, I still have your ill attempts to tell me if I am on my menstrual cycle, I could not have service via text. Hmm, you would think since your clientele is slanted towards female, that might be on the paperwork and you would have reiterated the first time you texted with directions or at our initial meeting. Why did you not? Once again, where you operate says a lot; how you operate says even more. Reputable firms don't play the games you play and after the initial consult if there is a problem, you should have said, "I will refund your money." Another business owner not too far from you decided since my husband had a stint, he could not partake of the service so my options were refund or transfer. Hmm, I guess when they said they were God fearing folk who live by the book, they at least made the attempt to do so. Don't hide behind some shield you can't begin to carry. I thought to take you to court and file against you; my husband said when dishonest people do things like this, they will get theirs and they may not even see it coming or how it comes. You may have already gotten some of it but as the saying goes, "You will reap what you sow."

I was looking to get a facial last minute. I had called a few established places on a Saturday and…read moreby no surprise they were booked. I called the sKyn Kurist and luckily she was able to fit me in right away. The spa is located in some kind of studio setting building. Businesses rent a studio styled room. It's very clean and cute in the lobby. I was greeted by Aisha with kindness and a big smile. She was very sweet and professional. I booked a microdermabrasion facial. When we got started I was distracted by the choice of music she had playing. It was R&B music, not your typical spa like music. It through me off guard as I wanted to relax. By the mood of the music she had playing it felt more of a hangout. However I still was open minded to the facial as I haven't received one in a while. I was excited to get my skin cleaned and walk out with glowing skin. When it came time to steam my skin I could tell her steamer wasn't high quality as it wasn't powerful as I'm use to. It's felt as if it was barely steaming my face. It also felt it was steaming one side of my face and not as a whole. Microdermabrasion machine didn't have suction. It's suppose to feel somewhat similar to a vacuum. It was scraping my skin with no suction. Extractions are included in this facial and I recieved a few on each side of my cheeks. Not on my nose, or chin. Two very crucial parts of the face to get extractions. Whenever she placed products on my skin, she had on some type of latex gloves on. The smell of the products mixed with the gloves made a foul smell. By the time the facial was over I looked over my skin in the mirror and I noticed a slight glow. I wasn't glowing as normally expected. I feel I was only glowing due to all the products she had put on my skin . I will say my dark circles seem to have disappeared due to the eye cream she had used. I left her establishment feeling disappointed as the facial wasn't a relaxing experience and my skin was hardly glowing . Two days later, my skin is completely dull, not silky, pores still clogged on my nose and chin. I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated that I feel I wasted money on a service that didn't meet my expectations . I am also upset I chose a place that didn't have reputable reviews. I want to add that I have prior experience and have worked in the skin care industry. I have received plenty of facials in my time to know what should be expected in a facial service. I've been a longtime client of The Honeycomb Cottage and wanted to share some feedback about my…read morerecent experiences. When the spa first opened, I was thrilled to have local alternative to driving into Atlanta. After living in McDonough for 45 years, The Honeycomb Cottage quickly became one of my favorite spots. Even after moving, I continued to visit and maintained a membership for over a year and a half. I eventually paused my membership because I had accumulated several unused credits, planning to use those up before restarting. Unfortunately, a series of frustrating experiences has made me decide not to return at all: * I once arrived for a facial and waited over 30 minutes past my appointment time. I later overheard staff discussing that the aesthetician hadn't shown up and couldn't be reached. Another team member eventually worked me in. * On another visit, my niece and I scheduled facials together. Once again, one of the aestheticians didn't show up, causing delays and confusion. * At another visit, my massage appointment was canceled shortly before my scheduled time due to the therapist having car trouble. While I understand that things happen, I was rescheduled for the following day--only to arrive and find that I wasn't on the schedule. Thankfully, a therapist happened to still be there and kindly stayed to do the massage, even though he was about to leave. * I also once scheduled a HydraFacial, only to learn upon arrival that the machine was broken. I wasn't notified in advance, which was frustrating since the spa enforces a 24-hour cancellation policy but didn't extend the same courtesy to me. This seems to be a common problem and the appointment should have never been scheduled due to it being broken. * When trying to call to make an appointment you have to call several times before getting someone to answer the phone and help. I also tried reaching out to the business about these concerns. It took several weeks of follow-up calls before I finally received a response. They seemed to not really care and make excuses for the actions of the spa taking no blame or ownership of the actions. After they finally got back to me, I was told they would give me a free service, but when I arrived, they had no record of it. Fortunately, I had the email where I was told this. I did use the credit but this was not something that magically makes their actions ok. I hope the spa will improve the client experience going forward. I loved The Honeycomb Cottage in its earlier days and would love to see it return to that standard of reliability and care. Unfortunately, based on my recent experiences, it feels as though the staff and management don't prioritize communication or accountability the way they once did.

Parking is kinda tricky but she has parking available in the back. Mayra is the owner and esthetician and she is awesome!! She gave me a consultation first took a good look at my face under the light and told me what she felt I needed done to my face.
