Not only were they professional, they treated my home with care and they even spent time giving my dog some love and treats! He confirmed the outlet was indeed getting power, and that the box needed to be adjusted. It was a quick 30 minute fix (maybe less than 30 minutes but I got some educational incite from him). Glad I went with Hagan Electric to fix this. A previous electrician from Mister Sparky Electric claimed the outlet needed to be rewired and was not getting any electricity. The Mister Sparky Electric guy charged $400 to tell my HOA: "Resident has square D panel which complies with today's standards. No need to change panel." All he did was look at the panel that day. Maybe 15 minutes to say what kind of panel it was and charged $400. Anyways- beware of going to certain companies to have electrical work done. Hagan Electric seems like a good one. The job I had today was pretty simple.

Joe replied to me within about 30 minutes of my outreach via text on a Sunday morning, and where the 10-15 other businesses I reached out to either declined or just gave their quote/rate for inspection/replacement, Joe asked a further probing question pointing to a troubleshooting step I hadn't done yet, which isolated the issue to the BULB and unrelated to the ceiling fan or any of its light fixtures. Top score for super quick responsiveness while the business is "closed", as well as directing the issue towards the least-invasive solution, even if it "cost" him my business... I also asked for a quote for a whole house rewiring. They completed the job in about 2 hours and the fans look perfect. There was no mess. Having a professional electrician do the job makes me feel secure that the fans aren't going to short wire and light our house on fire. As far as the rewiring job, he said our current wiring looked good and he wouldn't recommend we spend the money and hassle. He said if we have circuits trip regularly, then we should think about it at that time. That saved us thousands of dollars. At the time of this review, he charged $145 to remove an old ceiling light and install a ceiling fan. He charges an additional $95 if the current junction box is not rated for a ceiling fan. I have to say that I was probably a bit of an annoying customer and yet I was treated respectfully. We set up our appointment window but then found out I was on call for a potential jury duty during the window, so they accommodated me by showing up early in the window and assured me they would be done in time if I had to report at 1:00. They finished the job with plenty of time. The other issue I had was that I wrote a check to pay and 2 days later got a fraud alert from my bank. Someone was using my account. I texted Joe and informed him that my bank may shut down my account making the check not clear. He was very nice about it. Turned out that the check cleared in time, so all was good.
