I called Grounded Electric because my insurance company told me it was time to replace my main panel. Of course I was concerned and didn't know what to do. They did an amazing job switching out my Sylvania Zinsco electric box (everyone should know this panel is a major fire hazard). It fried two of my electric sockets almost catching on fire. It was finally time to get some real power in our garage, including an 80A Tesla Charger that's been waiting since before Covid, 2 x 240V NEMA-1450 utility outlets for equipment, and 8 x regular outlets. Chelsea, Tim, and their whole crew were phenomenal throughout. The quoting process was mostly virtual and they were very responsive and knowledgeable, including correcting some mistakes from others I've tried regarding requirements and the load calculation. They quickly managed the whole permit process, and in the end we passed inspection without any concerns from the inspector (totally worth paying for this, instead of trying yourself). I highly recommend Grounded Electric for any electrical upgrades and/or repairs you need, including tricky tracing and troubleshooting of existing circuits across multiple panels to confirm the requirements and load calculations. All that and their prices are still surprisingly competitive. They arrived on time, got to work putting in the LED celling lights I've wanted for a long time. they showed up at 11am and were done a little after 1pm. The install team really knew what they were doing, and did it like a well oiled machine. They had to do a little sheetrock for moving a few old lights and it was so perfect, you can't even tell where the old ones were. My husband and I had Grounded Electric install can lighting in our house and I was so impressed with the work that I sought them out for my mom. My mom is legally blind as a result of macular degeneration and complaining about how dark her living spaces were.
