When you have a craving for bubble tea...you have a craving and Kung Fu Tea was the place to fulfill it. My wife and I were at Mall of Georgia when we decided to check it out and fittingly it was their "Soft Grand Opening." We've had Kung Fu Tea twice before at the Duluth location, but as soon as you walked into this location...there was a "wow" factor. Per the pictures below, you can see this location is VERRY spacious (needed for the steady flow of people constantly coming in), modernized with gray flooring, and a shop that makes you want to stay there longer than simply grab-n-go due to their ample seating, neat light fixtures, and open concept! SERVICE = GREAT (you couldn't tell, but being Day 3 of their open --- they were a well-oiled machine, working hard to fulfill all orders timely, and greeting all with a smile.) As for the drinks (see pictures below), I had the Mango Green Tea with Mango Jelly and man it was good. You can taste the fresh tea hitting your palette and the mango jelly was delish...not sugary; just right. And my wife had the Kung Fu Milk Tea with Bubbles (see picture below). As I sampled hers, you can taste the kung fu tea had a "special" ingredient in it that taste so good making you want to have more and more of it. :) Both of our drinks were delicious and can't wait to try more of the menu soon. In the past I've had their bubble tea in smoothie form, but the tea form was also tasty. When ordering your drink, you can also choose your milk preference and sugar intake (can have 25%, 50%, etc of it) --- a great perk as very few shops allow you to make modifications as certain recipes cannot be changed. Lastly, my mango jelly was great and the bubbles in my wife's drink were delicious and soft...no sign of any of them being stale. DRINKS = DELICIOUS (the drinks hit the spot and cannot wait to try more of their flavors and toppings...you will not be disappointed with any choice you make.) As stated above, upon entering you will notice this location has a large square foot presence than the Duluth location. The modern-ness, Kung Fu Tea lighting that changes color in the back, zen-like feel, all make it a great atmosphere. Like Starbucks, it's a place where you want to there stay longer and enjoy, read, study, etc. Due note, most Kung Fu Tea places are streaming with folks (the lines move quick), with drink orders taken in an efficient manner with minimal time waiting upon receipt. AMBIENCE = MODERN (a great casual place to hang out with friends and catch up, don't feel claustrophobic inside as it's spacious and has plenty of trending cool visuals and décor.) Overall, I'm a fan of Kung Fu Tea and love their new layout, drinks were delicious along with their toppings, and a location I enjoyed going as the friendly staff made it worthwhile given it was only day three and wouldn't even know it! read more

I have been here to Kung Fu tea ( Buford Location only ) multiple times, mostly on week end nights. 1- Place is really nice, clean with enough sitting space 2- Drinks : I usually try milk tea with bobba it was what I was expected, bobba were chewy and milk tea not too sweet. Our fav is taro slush : it is like drink taro ice cream, it can be a little sweet but we usually share our drinks with my kids and husband. If you've never taken the plunge and tried bubble tea, this is the place to try it. Consistent good product and fair prices has made this place a hit. Ambience: I think Kung fu tea is going for casual dance club atmosphere - and I think they've nailed it. It's a bit noisy with plenty of seating, a ton of lighting, and music always playing. Food / drink: This is where Kung Fu tea comes into their own. They have a ton of tea / dairy / boba / taro options to enjoy. They are incredibly consistent -- even from store to store ... so you know your drink will be familiar to you no matter where or when you drink it. For boba tea, I don't think this place can be beat. Value for money: I feel like their drink menu is right about where it should be. Their prices don't seem too high or too low and I always feel satisfied after finishing a drink, so their portions seem on-point. A large oolong milk tea with boba is about $5 with tax. Tips: - You can adjust your ice level and sweetener level via percentages - For many drinks, "toppings" like boba pearls are optional. Be sure to try them at least once. Yes, you chew and eat them. - If there isn't a long line, feel free to ask about the menu. As a Northeasterner, I am AMAZED that Kung Fu Tea is as far south as Georgia!! The interior decor here is super cool and the service was fast and easy. Everyone wore masks and social distancing was enforced. There is a new line of chocolate drinks, which I thought were ok, but I couldn't customize ice or sweetness, which was a bummer. This is what Buford is missing , there's some bubble tea place around this area like Saigon Cafe or Paopao Ramen but I never like their bubble teas it's not good as Kung Fu Tea. I believe this is the best tea spot in all of Buford, I can't think of a better place for drinks when they have so much variety in drink flavors. Mind you, I'm not a big coffee fan and as they do serve coffee here. I am a believer of teas as they are good for your health without all the sugar and toppings. They do make it a modern drink for the young crowd and you gotta come here to line up to taste what's new. This is THE hangout spot for high schoolers nearby. This location opened second semester of my senior year and my friends and I go all the time! The interior is spacious and not cramped like most KFTs. To discuss the drinks, the only two drinks I enjoy are the Kungfu milk tea and the honey oolong milk tea. Every time I decide to leave my comfort zone and order something different, I end up not liking it, not being able to finish it, and throwing away a $5 drink. The drinks come out relatively fast and the employees are cool. The only reason that KFT usually isn't my first choice is the price of the drinks; it's a little too expensive, especially the specialty drinks which reach to almost $7. This is always a staple when in the area! Or near one of these places! Sometimes it's super busy but the wait is super worth it!!!!!

I gave A bad rating because the hours stated that the store is opened till midnight but we were forced to leave at 11pm. But instead of telling us they were closing early, they started to put up all the chairs and then turned off the light. Once we left the place and they locked the doors, they turned the lights back on. I don't mind they closed early, it was an unprofessional and tacky the way they ushered us out. Next time, how about coming over and kindly telling us you are closing. Treating people with respect will earn you more service. Or how about just change your hours to actually reflect what time you close. read more

I've been here a handful of times and enjoyed each and every visit. Customer service and quality of drinks have been great! I usually get their Taro MT w/h boba. If you've never had Taro MT and are curious about what it tastes like (at least at this location and a few others), I personally find it similar to the taste of the leftover milk after eating a bowl of Trix cereal. There were 4 people pretending being busy, the shop was empty and they ignored me. I had to wait 5 min, after they took my order. In every bubble tea shop I go, they ask my sugar level, but this girl on the front didn't ask at all. Wasn't interested and did a poor job. I can't eat too much sugar due to health reasons. After I payed I realized she didn't ask for my sugar level, I told her to add a little bit sugar. She said the tea comes already with 100% sugar. That's not true. I tried other Kung Fu Shops and they always ask about sugar level. I told her I can't drink so much sugar due to health conditions, but she says I have to buy a new tea, since she already made it. She could not make a new one and it was not busy at all. This girl, who works on 30th June, is lazy and rude. This service in Buford is terrible. read more

It's so dangerous that KFT opened this new location near my house. It's just 3-4 minutes We are here literally every day, sometimes twice a day so addictive. we used to go to the one in Duluth. This new one is great, clean, bright with a lot more space and tables. Staffs are very friendly and nice, some of them even remember what we want lol They messed up our order couple times but it's alright since they are new staffs. I'm a Kung Fu tea addict and was happy to see this new one was opening. I went this past Saturday and Sunday and the cashier was so friendly, the decor is cute but comfy, and service was quick. The only suggestion would be a bench or something on the other side of the wall for people waiting for Togo drinks. All of the tables were full and there were quite a few people just standing around waiting for their drinks. Also their cc machine was down but it was grand opening weekend so hopefully they get it fixed soon. read more

Well great product horrible customer service and operation. Unless you have an app with a debit card attached you can't order anything! Horrible business model. Manager has no authority. The customer service sent an email saying congrats you received 5$ reward. Went there to redeem and because it wasn't loaded on the app by corporate they don't honor it even though the email said it was a reward. Showed manager who spoke limited English and said put a ticket in thru the app that she can't do anything but clean tables. Yikes ! Cash us king! Unless you take cash you limit your clients why would any business do this? You might as well run a good truck and not pay overhead retail.
