Tiger Sugar finally made its way to Atlanta in 2021 and I avoided the lines and waited a few months to try the hyped brown sugar boba. And tbh, it really met the hype. I've tried the classic Brown Sugar Boba Milk + Pearl with Cream Mousse and it's a bit sweet - however, it is everything a non caffeinated dessert drink should be - between the brown sugar "Tiger" stripes along the side of the cup and all the multi-sized boba toppings + cream mousse, it's the real deal. I also tried adding the egg pudding which was a great idea in theory but makes it even sweeter lol. But I love egg pudding in my bubble tea and highly recommend it! The black sugar cafe latte is a great option if you're wanting a caffeinated drink - because it's also not as sweet that way. I've had it with cream mousse and also with egg pudding and both ways are excellent. Mango with cream mousse isn't a bad option if you're considering something non-milky/tea/brown sugar but take it with a grain of salt since this really isn't what Tiger Sugar is known for. There are so many locations in metro Atlanta now but thankful this was the first location to break into the market.
I always enjoy Tiger Sugar boba drinks. For first time I ordered the original brown sugar with Milo! The Milo gave it a nice chocolate after taste so this might become my go to drink! Upon entering, order from a kiosk then your name will be called.
I order in store around 4:30 for to go. It's been 5 minutes before the guy approach me, it's not busy though as there were 2 people already being served. I specifically order #6 with fresh taro and 2 other bubble tea. The cashier called me for my order, and I told him if he can put in a bag and he just put the plastic in front of me. I got home and decided to put 3 bubble tea's in a cooler. around 7;30 I decided to have my taro bubble tea and to my surprise there's no fresh taro but instead it was a powdered taro. I was so disappointed with my order and specially with the service. I took 2 sips of my bubble and I throw it away for it does not taste good.
Stop by for some Tiger sugar milk tea. Unfortunately they were all out of the coffee latte so I opt for the expresso black sugar drink. It wasn't too sweet at all and was drinkable. Next time I might have to opt for lactose milk option. Came right when they open and place was t too busy in the morning. Aboht two other customers came after me. Plenty of seatings throughout the place and the restroom was decent.
A tad over-hyped and over-priced, but the limited drink creations were pretty good. Also, they cannot customize like add less sugar. Brown sugar boba milk + pearl with espresso + cream mousse: $5.50. This was pretty sweet and to my sweet tooth liking. After the ice melted, the sweetness died down a tad though. The espresso in this drink was present, but it wasn't a super strong caffeine kick. Don't get this thinking the caffeine will help you stay awake unless you're super sensitive to caffeine. The pearls were pretty chewy and fresh. The cream mousse on top was good! --- Brown sugar boba milk + pearl with chocolate malt + cream mousse: $5.50. The chocolate malt made this pick interesting. The hubs could taste the chocolate malt, but it was subtle as we expected something stronger. This pick wasn't as sweet even with the malt in it. The pearls were also chewy along with the yummy cream mousse. Both definitely had more ice than needed since I'd rather it be less chilled since it's still cold outside. And since we weren't going to consume it immediately, the melted ice just watered things down.
DO NOT. GO. HERE. Unless you really like to waste money and wait in long lines for overpriced drinks! Look, there are SO many amazing boba/milk tea options around Duluth. Maybe it's just this location but it doesn't live up to the hype. I got an EXTRA LARGE drink and I took 3 sips and it was gone. It was ALL ICE. $8 for 3 sips?? You can look at my reviews and see I rarely rarely write 1 star reviews. I don't give these out lightly. Also it's made from powder. See the photos. No drink just ice. Then I counted and there were 20 large ice cubes. Who wants to buy a drink and pay $8 for 20 ice cubes? You can get that for free everywhere. Ridiculously long lines and drinks are not customizable. Overpriced and overhyped. Go elsewhere. 你真的是骗人的钱
Tiger Sugar is another chain of boba tea that specialize in brown sugar milk tea drinks. This location is in the exact location where Suno used to be. (Any one remember Suno?) I'm not a fan of brown sugar boba tea, but my siblings are and they said it's one of the best. While my siblings tried the brown sugar and liked it, I tried the Match with crème foam boba tea and hated it. So much so that I didn't even finish the medium cup. I thought it was bitter even after shaking it 50 times (literally, I counted). So 5 stars for the Brown sugar boba tea... I took off 1 star for the matcha drink. I must commend the simple, but elegant decor. I thought the staff were efficient, but the menu limited. They only had 3 toppings to choose from - coffee jelly, tiny pearl boba, and regular boba. The pearls are good, so I recommend getting that over the regular boba. Overall, I would recommend if you like brown sugar boba tea not so much the matcha tea.
So ever since I got introduced to tiger sugar, it's been my top boba shops. Recommended drinks any of the signature drinks are just *chefs kiss*. Other drink recommendations I would suggest are taro, strawberry slush or any teas. A drink section I wouldn't recommend is the matcha. It the only bad drink I had from there, the matcha was so strong it made the drink so hard to finish. Maybe it the girl that had made my drink and she didn't prepare my drink properly but I would stay away from matcha. The ambiance is clean and welcoming to sit and relax with people.
I tried their Bubble Tea about 2 months ago, and I honestly thought it was the best I've ever had...so here I am again! Initially, I thought this was a Duluth Korean chain...but it is indeed a national Taiwanese chain. Based on just how amazing it is, I assume it's a HUGE (or bound to be huge!) chain! The store in Duluth is fairly a new one...and on both times I stopped in, there was a line. The place is incredibly chic...possibly the fanciest tea bar I've seen...with lounge chair installations as well. Also, their Tiger mascots/selfie station is just too cute! ANYWAY, this time, I ordered their most popular drink - Brown Sugar Boba Milk Pearl with Cream Mousse....and just WOW, I think their drinks are just legendary. I just cannot wait for this tea chain to drip down to where I live, near Charlotte. Until then, guess I'll just have to make my 3-hour drive to Duluth to get my fix??
Tiger Sugar is always over every boba Instagram I follow(yes I love boba that much), so I couldn't believe they finally brought one to Atlanta! The line was very long but the staff was doing their best to get through it. I ordered the famous Black Sugar Milk Tea w/CREAM MOUSSE on top. Since I'm lactose intolerant I gave the lactaid milk a try since I was already getting the cream top. I will admit, it wasn't my favorite. The boba was nice and soft and I did enjoy the black sugar but maybe oat milk would have been a better choice. I want to try this again with different milk. The music and vibes were nice, but it was too small for how many customers they had.
We went to tiger sugar for the first time to order boba. They have different flavors compared to normal boba places, and most of their drinks are made out of brown sugar. We ordered the Signature Black Sugar and the MILO Black Sugar Milk w Cream Mousse. Both drinks were tasty and not too sweet. The staff members are friendly and since it was our first time I asked them what they recommend. They suggested these drinks! The set up of the shop is small but modern looking.
Finally, highly anticipated grand opening of Tiger Sugar(infamous Taiwanese milk tea shop) in Atlanta happened last Saturday where they gave out 200 free drinks on the first day. This location is located in Duluth Hmart plaza next to the gas station. Second location will open in Kennesaw for those that live out in that area. To avoid the crowd, went on the second day and the wait wasn't too long for the hype. All in all, it was around 30~40 minutes and the staff had great system of pumping out non-stop orders. Just a tip, line up behind the building for the shade and saw that people didn't really practice social distance in line so I made sure that I kept my space in front of me and others behind me followed through. However, everyone did wear masks, which was good. Once you order, they give you a receipt with a huge order # printed on it. Once an order is complete, you'll hear a ring and the # on the now serving sign. I must say, this location is one of the largest Tiger Sugar I've seen. I guess, compared to NYC, it's super spacious and flashy, both on the interior and with music(Kpop). While I'm super stoked to have Tiger Sugar in Atlanta, I'm not sure if the consistency/quality is what I remember. While the tapioca consistency was still the best - super soft and yet chewy, there was inconsistency where my husband's drink had too many tapiocas, and mine was lacking. Also, overall, drinks were more milky than thick. To fully enjoy the tea, make sure to shake it x15 times. Staff does tell you as you pick up your order, but hard to make out with their masks.
This is my go-to place for brown sugar boba here! They offer different choices for topics ranging from small to larger size boba. They added more drinks to the menu since I came but I usually order the signature black sugar milk tea with cream mousse. My favorite part of the drink is that the boba was really soft and warm - overall really liked it.
Haven't been to Tiger Sugar since it opened. Decided to check it out now that the hype has calmed down. The space is well lit and has lots of nice furniture, like real couches and comfy chairs, not tables and chairs that belong outdoors. The decor says hip, modern, and utilitarian but the furniture says inviting coffee house that you should hang out at. At least the furniture is light grey so it doesn't clash with the white interior. One hour before close and I was the only customer in the shop. The front has counter service with printed menus. There are also two kiosks you can order from. I always skip bothering the people behind the counter unless necessary. Decided to try the Milo Chocolate Brown Sugar Milk, less sugar, with dairy milk. Ordering via kiosk was super easy. The kiosks also have pictures unlike the print menu. My order was out in less than 5 minutes. Asked the staff for the WiFi password. It's taped to the wall behind the pickup area instead of posted on the wall in the customer area. They read it aloud to me but it's also written big enough to see if you know where to look. That was the only interaction I had with the staff but they were brief, direct, and polite so no complaints there. The beverage was good and a decent value. Some places are cheaper but the containers are smaller too. Overall this is a good place to hang out if you and your crew want a comfortable place that has boba. It's not as cozy as an independent coffee shop but it's more inviting than a lot of boba shops simply due to furniture choice. read more

E X P E R I E N C E came here on a tues morning around 12pm. there were two other groups here. you order at the kiosk while there are two employees making the drinks. my drink took 5 mins to make. it's really expensive for the amount of drink and quality you get. but out of convenience, since I'm heading to this hmart, I'd drop by. I still prefer tea top near the Doraville hmart F O O D brown sugar milk (5.75), large (1.5), boba, cream cheese mousse, pudding (0.5): the cup is taller but it's much skinnier than your average boba cups. the drink is yummy, nothing mind blowing. boba is chewy, a little over cooked in my opinion I N T E R I O R well kept. clean. great for small and large groups P A R K I N G ample parking behind the restaurant (huge plaza) but there is probably 20 cars worth of parking P R I C E $8.22 + tip read more

My first time coming here & I enjoyed it. Very clean inside, I love the set up. The service was fast too. I went in & got what the young lady at the register said was the most popular. I love that they give an option to choose different milks. Haven't been seeing that a lot from too many places. I would love to go back & try another flavor. read more
Tiger sugar is always a nice treat. The employees are always friendly and the music is upbeat. The brown sugar and milo bubble tea is always made right and it never disappoints. I like that they offer multiple alternatives to tapioca. I can't get enough of their coffee jelly. Don't forget to sign up for their rewards! I got a $5 voucher for my birthday :) read more
Had to stop by to see what the hype was all about -- visited on a Monday afternoon hoping there wouldn't be a line buuuuut there was lol. Coming in, the set up can be a bit confusing. The order station is directly on the right when you first walk in. There was a line of people along the wall that can be easily confused with the order line...but it's not! They're waiting for their drinks. I tried one drink today-- #4 Brown Sugar Boba with Expresso ($5.50) -- and waited about ~18 minutes. They have a sign near the restrooms that tells you what order they're working on to help you gauge where you are in the line. You cannot adjust sugar level and it's either normal ice or no ice. I opted for regular ice and turns out that's about half my cup. There's only one size as well. The drink was surprisingly not too sweet like most brown sugar boba drinks. The boba was very chewy and overall very tasty. I do think this place is overhyped though and not worth the wait.. even if it was 15 minutes. It's good, but not great enough to go out of your way for. read more
This place fell short of my expectations..or they were just overhyped? They have a limited menu currently, and I tried the #1 (original brown sugar boba milk), #2 (brown sugar boba + coffee jelly), and #4 (brown sugar boba + espresso). There is only one size (like a small/medium size at other stores) and the price was average $5.50 each. The cups all came with a decent amount of ice and if you choose no ice it's $0.25 extra. Price aside, the drinks themselves weren't bad but they weren't great. I loveeeee the boba because it was perfectly chewy and had a good brown sugar taste. It also comes with two sizes of bubbles (pearls are small and the boba are the big ones) which is really enjoy. However the milk drink part was just watery and had no flavor. The one with espresso just tasted like regular coffee with boba. My favorite drink is the #2 one with coffee jelly! The drink is very coffee forward but this one tasted better than the espresso one. I like the consistency of the coffee jelly too. Cute store and currently there are no seating areas. The wait time was almost an hour during this opening week. read more
Tiger sugar. It's all the hype these days. So what's amazing about this place? Let's first start off with explaining what their menu is. The first 4 drinks on the menu (the one I took a picture of) has no tea. Because when I looked at their menu online, I felt really stupid. Boba... But no tea? Yep. You read that right and your eyes aren't deceiving you. #2 does have coffee in it though. Otherwise the drinks on the bottom (that says tea) actually have tea. It seems foreign to a tea drinker and someone who enjoys the tea part... So, in my mind is well, let's see what their most popular drink is (which in my mind is #1, as reading all the reviews are pointing it out). I think it'll be something different and well, I'm hoping that it will be a new experience. I ordered a #1 and #2 to see if there is a difference and why the lines here seem to start at open and doesn't stop throughout the day. Inside its like any other boba spot, huge mural of the store name and currently due to COVID, no seating but they do have cocktail tables. Onto the drinks! Was it a new experience? To be honest, sugar is like crack. And I get it and why everyone is addicted to it. But to me, I kind of miss the tea part. The shot of coffee in mine (#2) was there. The boba was good though, chewy and satisfying. But, boiling down to it and looking at what it is... The drink I ordered is just an Asian styled milk shake. Am I crazy? Probably. But at the same time the love I have for boba tends to lean on the tea and boba part of it, less of the sugar part. #1 is sweet milk. Just like #2, but without the coffee. I read another review (Sarah K's) that #2 was her preferred drink and I would have to say, she's definitely right. The slight bitterness is what's needed, and if you were to choose between either of these I would say to get #2 with the coffee. I think my review is probably going to stay a 3 star, and will definitely update once I try out their teas. But to be honest, and ONLY about Tiger Sugar's boba drinks... it's a bit overhyped. I get COVID-19 has gotten people itching to try new things and I mean, come on you can't blame the social media. Grade A marketing right there, bravo! For me, what I ordered is sweet milk for my first visit, and it's not going to be the last until I try their black milk tea. If I were to suggest it, you need the tea... it brings that bitterness within the sweetness so definitely get the black tea. But if you're just wanting to try out what makes Tiger Sugar different, by all means order the #1 or #2. Otherwise, I would stick to the tea series and skip the Asian Milkshake. read more
When I first ordered my drink, I had tried to request less ice and less sugar. However, they do NOT customize the featured drinks. Also, we can't request for less ice. It's either with or without. I had requested without. But, they charge an extra $0.50 for No Ice to my surprise! I then had them prepare the drink as is. During my order, I noticed the cute black masks the servers were wearing. The masks were also on sale for $2.99. I picked up a mask and noticed the little Black Sugar Egg Rolls packets for sale too. I then picked up a packet of the Egg rolls not knowing they were $0.99 with a drink. The cashier charged me full price unaware that my drink was sitting behind her. I then pointed out the promotion of $0.99 for the Egg rolls since I had ordered a drink prior. She had apologized.. and asked her supervisor about it. Judging by their discussion behind the register as I was waiting for the receipt error correction. He had deliberately let me be to pocket my profit. I then spoke out again pointing at the $0.99 poster in front of the register & the male supervisor finally took a dollar out of the register and apologized to me. The colorful creamy drink was delicious to my surprise! It wasn't as sweet as expected. Sweetness was just as light as I preferred for a drink. Drink was sipped off within minutes. I had saved the Egg roll to be shared with my girl friend while waiting at the salon few doors down. read more

They had an amazing grand opening !! Congratulations to Tiger Sugar and Georgia has been waiting for you to come !!! :) They have a few drinks available but will soon offer their full menu soon as they work out the kinks, I came on second day of their opening closer to 7pm and the line wasn't super terrible. Only 15 minutes but waiting on the drinks took 20. So about 30-40 minutes in total but well worth it! I got two classics and one with expresso. The boba is chewy, perfect. The hype is real. Been to this place quite a few times and just keep coming back.. because it's that good. It has a limited menu, but all of their flavors taste unique to the place. The brown sugar boba with pearls and cream mousse (the most popular drink on the menu) is a must have. It's unlike any other brown sugar boba I've had and the pearls are basically just little boba. The taste of the drink is closest to a caramel flavor. The drinks do run a little expensive compared to other places, but it's worth it. I was told to come here to try it out as it's in its 2nd week of operation. There wasn't a long line as I came on a Monday afternoon. There are only limited drink selections right now. I am more of a fruit tea kinda guy so I ended up getting the green tea with topping (boba.) It was okay, nothing special. I am not a huge fan of boba but I got it anyways. The cups are very small, reminds me of a medium size. It took forever to get our drinks as I think the employees are still in training. There is no seating area but 3 small tables for you to stand there. There is a cool looking tiger towards the back wall. And 3 stuff animal tigers on the tables. My significant other got the black tea latte with topping. The black tea latte reminded me of Starbucks flavor ice coffee with milk/creamer. Definitely has a kick in caffine. I probably won't be back as the drinks weren't really my thing. I am really not sure what's the fuss about this place. read more
Tiger Sugar is always a pleasant stop. I have had it a few times already and this location meets the same quality as I've previously had. The tiger sugar is a bit sweeter than normal milk tea so be cautious. I enjoyed the fact that they have options for lactose sensitive individuals like myself - I had my milk choice using lactaid and my stomach thanks me! read more

This place is always hoppin'. The brown sugar milk tea is good. The cheese foam was odd and chalky - not my favorite even after mixing together. The espresso shake was light, fluffy, and sweet. The one thing that would make this better is being able to adjust the sugar levels. read more

This is my absolute favorite place!!! Their selection is a lot smaller than most boba/tea shops, but who cares!! Get the number 1, and I promise you won't be dissatisfied. I like it with the mini pearls & boba. So yummy! I also really like the nice and luxe inside setting. Definitely always stopping here for boba when I'm in the area! Love it!!! read more
I have been there a couple of times and I like it! Tiger sugar is a really popular franchise that has a smaller, limited menu. I have tried a couple of drinks that were pretty good. Service is quick and efficient. They specialize in brown sugar boba. I always get the number 1 - it's tasty and it is very consistent. It comes with the mini pearls and regular boba. The boba is always nicely cooked and chewy. You cannot; however adjust the sweetness level which can be an issue for some people. read more

I went here again to get the same drink as last time because I loved it so much but I'm not as impressed with the quality as the first time. I don't know what was wrong with the boba batch this time but the size of the pearls were VERY uneven, a lot of the pearls were too small while a few of them were huge. Not gonna change my rating because I still loved the flavors of the drink but thought the boba this time was odd. read more

PHENOMENAL! I love brown sugar milk tea and had it in many places but by far the hands down best place for this is here at Tiger Sugar. The quality is fantastic. Taste is fantastic. The atmosphere is very clean and cool. It is little on the pricey side almost $6 with tax but you definitely get it's worth. So good- will return and recommend it to anyone looking for amazing milk tea. read more
