It tasted a bit off as far as flavor wise but the tapioca was fresh. Thai tea was a bit too milky and almost as if powder hasn't fully dissolved. Glaze is famous for being the ONLY bubble tea hotpot in the Metro Atlanta area. However, I mostly visit here for their lifechanging fresh taro and durian flavor items. Glaze is easily one of the top 3 fresh teahouses in Georgia, because of their natural flavor profiles. Also, can we talk about their beautiful graphic design on their cups, bags, signs? There were portable A/C units and fans running, so I'm assuming they were having air conditioning issues. The café itself also felt a bit cluttered and not as clean as I expected, especially for a newer business. The restrooms were another letdown. I accidentally walked in on someone because the bathroom doors don't automatically lock behind you. There are signs reminding customers to lock the door, but it's easy to see how people would assume it since you have to use a code to enter. But because there's a code you have to use a second lock to manually lock the doors. The only reason I'm giving it two stars instead of one is because they're open late, which is convenient since most other tea and dessert shops are closed by then. Unfortunately, the quality of the drinks, desserts, and overall experience would not warrant need to come back. Only the reason we did was because nothing else is open late. Really wanted to like this place as a new late night hangout.
