First of all, the boba is perfect! There are so many options and they all seem delicious! The shrimp tempura was VERY good! The popcorn chicken has good flavor but I wished it came with its own dipping sauce. The bathrooms were a little out dated but the overall ambiance of the restaurant was nice!

This was my first time seeing poke at Kung Fu tea! For a midwest establishment, their poke had pretty standard ingredients, nothing I hadn't seen before. I got their spicy tuna and salmon, and I liked how they gave decently sized pieces of fish. Unlike other places I've seen, rather than a scoop, the fish came in individual slices, which I think is more satisfying to eat. I really like the drinks here as well, and my go-to is the wintermelon tea with cheese foam. However, one thing about KFT is that their drinks are pretty sweet, even after lowering the sweetness to 50%. The prices for kft are pretty reasonable, given how much you're getting. Would definitely come again for the poke!

King Fu Tea has a variety of bubble teas, teas, sandwiches and more! Located right in the heart of the UIUC campus, it makes a great location to stop by for a quick drink or food, or stop by to meet up with friends. I enjoyed the coconut milk tea and appreciated that I was able to adjust the sweetness to my liking, looking forward to visiting again!

The bubble tea is quite good. However, the dining environment inside is not so satisfactory, as there are too many people, and is noisy, dark and a little hot. This is a busy place.

My favorite bubble tea place in Champaign. The service is always nice. I love how gentle they are while taking orders, even though it's always busy. I always get the Oolong Milk tea with Nata jelly(I hate it how I don't get nata jelly at a lot of places in Chicago, but I digress). I tried their Honey oolong milk tea but it's too sweet for my taste, and we can't change the sugar preferences in this. I also love their poke bowl, popcorn chicken. Not a fan of takoyaki, it could be better. That's no reason to knock off any stars because they are open till midnight every day and they have board games. Also it's one of the few places that would be open during holidays too, Labor Day, thanksgiving and all which is awesome for international students like me.

Lots of options to choose from on the menu, I'm never too sure what to order so I tend to ask for recommendations. The cashier didn't give me recommendations that helped with my selection so I randomly chose on my own. I give it 4 stars for efficiency and quality but for customer service it needs improvement with giving more suggestions and asking questions to figuring out a customer's taste pallet.

Sushi burrito! You can customize it yourself! Amazing!

Wow. Now this is a yummy place to visit. If you are in the mood for bubble tea and sushi look no more. I just had myself a honey milk tea with bubbles and a sushi burrito. And they are amazing. Especially the burrito. I swear I could eat here everyday. Be sure to check out their menu as they have a bunch of options for both drinks and food. I can't go into detail on all the options. The only reason I don't give this place 5 stars is due to their location and cost. The items are a bit pricey but it's fine for a bi-weekly treat. Also it's hard to find parking. The location is close to the heart of campus so it's easier to reach for student walking then those of us with cars. Overall I highly recommend if you are in the area. The sushi burrito alone was amazing. But I can also get me my bubble tea fix. I'll be back for sure!

My poke bowl was great. Good amount of fish and everything tasted great! I constructed my poke bowl to make it taste as close as possible to a sushi roll. (Except I also added carrots and seaweed salad for texture). My poke bowl: Tuna, Spicy salmon Seaweed salad, Avocado, Carrots Eel sauce, Spicy mayo Masago, fried onions, tempura crumbs

Best tea in the city. I usually get the honey black tea with bubbles with no added sugar and less ice. Perfect pick me up in the afternoon.

This place is not worth it at all. They charged $11 for a tiny dish that was not enjoyable in the slightest. Would not recommend.

It hit all the checkmarks for us. Even after a day old it was still reallly good. Server was also super helpful in getting us suggestion for another specialty drink. We avoided the sweeter ones so landed on the London smog latte with steamed oat milk, 2 shots of expresso, earl gray and cane syrup. The earl gray flavor was just perfect with the coffee and oat aroma. One of the best flavors coffee we've had. After the tea got steeped for a while it got a bit too strong but I still liked it at a lot. I love that it's aromatic without being overpowered by sweetness.

The espresso is pulled for a smooth shot. Their offerings resemble those of corporate coffee shops, despite some of the indie trappings. The beans come from a national wholesaler, and many specialty drinks are based on syrup flavors. I get the impression that this used to be an indie shop but that its character changed as it scaled up. The upshot is that they make generally agreeable coffee drinks that cost a little more than usual.

Upon arrival, I checked out the menu and saw a lot of wonderful variety of items that I wanted to try; however, I only had room for one thing. While scoping out the menu, my eyes fell on their soft-serve flavors. They not only had chocolate and vanilla flavors but also, hojicha, matcha, and ube. Plus, you could get them in a swirl or just as two flavors in a dish. I immediately decided that I wanted the Hojicha and Ube pairing. My son got the Matcha and Ube combo. Both were good. I liked all the flavors. Hojicha was my favorite, followed by Matcha, and then Ube. Each of these ice cream had rich flavor and the texture was smooth. The pricing of the soft-serve was on the high side but the portion size was good. The Ice cream is made in-house including the Hojicha. The shop was busy. The tea had stevia in it (wtf??) which I personally think is the most disgusting and disappointing sweetener out there. Super weird for it to be a part of the tea bag, IMO. Ambiance? I go to a coffee shop for the coffee and/or tea and if that's not great and if the barista is annoyed... I'm not going to stick around for the ambiance. Had great indoor decor -- as some previous reviewers said, it had a interesting combination of modernism and nature. However, food was not as good as environment. The menu was very limited (together with my friend we already covered the whole menu lol). I saw on Yelp that they offered the Lox Plate and Avocado Stack, which looked pretty amazing. Unfortunately they do not offer these any more. The lox bagel was super small, so were the egg sandwich and granola. The sandwiches tasted OK, but the granola was way too sweet for me. Luckily the price was reasonable. Not very likely to come here again as it offers too few things now. They do offer more drinks than food. So in general due to its decor and the fact that not many people go there, it would not be a bad choice to study or work here anyway.
