I love their red curry it's so good I'd be careful with my spice level though even a 2 is extremely spicy

One of my favorite places to eat on the UIUC campus!! I recommend getting any of the noodle dishes here (I recommend getting the pad se-ew). The rice noodles are super fresh, and I love how the vegetables are still crunchy! Love this place!

For a fast food like restaurant this is pretty good. The food that is. Curry was delicious as was the vegetarian entree. The cleanliness was questionable though and the cleaning staff had a poor attitude giving nasty looks and throwing things around. I would go again to take out food but not to eat there.

A great and fast Thai food restaurant near campus! They serve in a very fast speed, with a pretty friendly attitude. The dining environment might be not so cozy because of the kitchen fumes, but there're sufficient seats and clean tables. I ordered the Pad Thai, and it tasted so delicious! And I didn't get extremely thirsty after this meal (which may mean they didn't add excessive ingredients for making it tasty hahaha). The prices are reasonable as well! Overall, it looks like a popular restaurant for students from different regions in the world!

    Panang curry spice level 4

Bangkok Thai is a place on campus I find myself going back to time and time again. It has a great location on Green St. and gives generous portions for relatively cheap prices. It definitely gets crowded around dinner, so don't expect to easily find a table if you're in a group. I usually prefer to take my food to go anyway, as the place can sometimes feel cramped with so many people and backpacks everywhere. They provide small to-go cups for hoisin sauce and sriracha also. The pad thai is great here, and you get a lot of it for the price. While it's nothing fancy, it's delicious and the noodles themselves are always cooked well. I'll usually get a spice level of 5 and that'll be enough to get a little bit of a kick without it being overwhelming. The panang curry is a great alternative for when I don't feel like eating noodles. It's very flavorful and has a mild coconut smell to it. Unfortunately there's not that much curry for the price, but it's still satisfying.

    Spring Rolls

Just picked up lunch today and there was a huge, black hair in one of my spring rolls!! The people making the food need to make sure they are wearing hair nets, or anything to keep the food cleaner. This is gross! Also, I had vegetable Pad Thai and it was dry and the noodles were overcooked and ripping apart but it was hard to eat because they were glued together like a brick of noodles. I ended up throwing half of my food away. This whole experience was a huge disappointment and waste of my money and time. I will not go back!

I love this place! It always hits he spot on a cold day, or when you need a light meal that really satisfies. I recommend the P1 pho - it's beef broth based, and includes every type of beef they offer in the broth. It comes with glass noodles, scallion, and sprouts and lime on the side. I also use sriracha and hoisin to spice it up. The atmosphere is generally quiet, so it's a great place to get work done on Sundays - they're open till 9pm.

It is a great local spot right, in the center of college town. The restaurant is rather small with limited seatings. They had an extensive menu with Thai and Pho dishes. I had the classic P1 Pho with Beef combinations. The soup broth is okay, rather sweet for me without the distinct aroma. However, the owner and staff definitely offered top-notch service in helping me accommodating a large group.

The only place I get Pho in town. Bc everywhere else is overpriced and the pho just isn't as good.

Best Pad Thai in the area. Quick and easy. Always a go to when near Campustown. Like the spice level chart that you can select from.

One of the better places to eat in the area. Don't have a specific recommendation but I enjoyed their Thai food. Prices are fair.

Best food on green street and most delicious pad thai I've ever had. Be careful as level of spice increases more than you expect.
