I've been a customer of the Kung Fu Tea franchise for 9+ years. I love their bubble tea and every time I try another bubble tea place it doesn't meet my expectations because KFT is always better. I've tried multiple items on the menu and the freshness and quality is consistent. What I like is that their drinks are not pre-made like some competitors and it really makes a difference. I recommend the passion fruit tea with strawberry popping bubbles if you love something fruity and the matcha milk cap with tapioca bubbles if you're a matcha enthusiast like myself. I could probably figure out quantum mechanics before I could figure out a decent order.. so I went with my default goodie, taro with boba. Taro tasted, kind of floral? Got 30% sweet -- tasted 100%. I've cut a good chunk of sugar from my diet but even with the sweetness so low it was too much for me. Does the boba sit in honey ? Did the girl making it enjoy giving folks cavities? Who knows. The employees are super nice, strike up conversation and make you feel welcomed it's def a picture worthy location with all the color and decorations! I got the Hershey s'more iced coffee slush I think I got it all in there lol. It was so tasty had a little fluff in it coffee balls chocolate a shot of coffee, it was sweet, tasty and got me movin all in one shot! My first time here at the East meadow location. It's Very clean and bright inside. When I walked in I was greeted immediately by the person behind the counter. He was a friendly young gentleman who helped me pick out a drink. I told him I know that I wanted taro slush, and he asked if I wanted the pudding on top. I said that I never had the pudding, I didn't know if I like it. He said he just finished making it and it's fresh and he thinks that I'd like it. He let me try a sample and it tasted like flan! He said he would make it for me with the pudding and if I did not like it He would make it over for me without the pudding. Once I tried it with the pudding... WOW!! Game changer. SOOOOO GOOOOOOOOD. I forgot the man's name but I wish I remembered so I could shout him out, he was so friendly and attentive I wish more people were like that in the food industry. Every time I enter this Kung Fu Tea location, my son and I are welcomed with a smile by Hamza. From the start, Hamza has been great. He offers good recommendations and does not hesitate to correct an order that's already made if I do not like what he suggested. Guest recognition makes customers feel welcome and that's how I feel. We met Ycel on our last visit to Kung Fu Tea. I asked her if she could thin out a drink that I like. She listened and made the drink accurately. I was so so grateful. Hamza was at the register and I told him that Ycel knows how to make my drink. Ycel got in front of their POS system and confirmed my drink before I even told her what it was. I couldn't believe that she remembered after nearly a month of not going! What a great way to make us feel their warm hospitality! To sum this review up, Ycel and Hamza are not only amazing at making very good drinks, they also know how to make us feel like VIPS. This is the best location! Hamza is the nicest person!! He makes me feel so special remembering what I like and how I like it better than I even can! His professionalism and care keep me coming back! The store is alwyas immaculately clean and the music is alwyas good. Never a long wait. I recommend the passion fruit green tea it's my favorite ever, 70% sugar is the way to go! Yum! I had been excited to check this place out for a while and was thrilled when I was finally in the area to do so. Bright, welcoming space with a big old "do it for the 'gram" mural to pose near. The menu has something for everyone. As someone who doesn't drink cow's milk I love the option of the milk strike which uses Lactaid instead of regular milk. I had the red bean tea the first time and it was so good. Just the right amount of sweet, with the red beans to break up the sweetness and make it a bit more savory. The second time I had the honey oolong tea without milk. Very good. Great if you love honey (like I do). Excellent place and I'm happy everything can be customized (milk, bubbles, no bubbles, extra sweet or not sweet at all, etc.). Definitely a welcomed addition. read more

This is my third time ordering where there was a mistake. The first time they gave me strawberry lemonade instead of strawberry green tea. They did that twice. Now I ordered through ubereats and they delivered a completing wrong drink instead of what I ordered. Drinks are good but service is always an issue, they resolve it but it shouldn't have to be multiple times getting my order wrong. That is how you lose customers, disappointed. read more

it's was super friendly from the start but lately have been not only adding and up charing our drinks without us saying to do so but they charged us for a large tea instead of scanning the proper item with was cheaper as well as they handed a bag of popcorn and said it was free and then proceeded to charge us for it. I place orders here all the time and they miss a lot if ingredients. I buy the Pina colada punch alot and instead of calling me or telling me they don't have coconut they just make a milkshake with bubbles. This has happened numerous times. When they are out of any ingredients they wing it thinking you won't taste the difference but you do. I tried the pineapple slushy once and they never had pineapple. I am like what is going on. I came in with high hopes they were not busy at all but the reception was minimal eye contact but no greeting at all. the place smelled bad and looked dirty With napkins and straws paper on the floor etc. the counter was sticky and the menu that he shoved at me was sticky as well. So I've ordered from kung fu tea alot and never had an issue but 3 days ago I received a drink and as I was drinking it I started choking on plastic that was in the drink. No it's not from the lid the lid is black the plastic was clear. I called the restaurant 3 days in a row after a manager was supposed to call me back. still a manager has not called me back. My main concern was someone else was going to recieve a drink with plastic in it but now that I haven't recieve any kind of call back I'm angry. Classic bait & switch. We came here when they first opened and the drinks and toppings were great! Now that they've been open, the portion of toppings has greatly diminished. My kids love the Oreo wow drink. The last two times we ordered it there was a very small amount of bubbles. At almost $7/drink, I can crush Oreos in their milk at home. The drinks always taste great but it's just too pricy for tea/drink and a few bubbles. I wish new businesses didn't do this. Consistency is key to keep customers!!! read more

While the service was good, my drink was abysmal. I ordered a matcha milk tea with boba and can confidently say that I was bamboozled by this place. The person ahead of the person in front of me had a 5 or 6 drink order, so that took forever... when I got to the register, to use a reward on their app, I was told I had to add my credit card on the app to use said reward, so I inadvertently held up the line too. The reward didn't even come off after all that but the cashier did give it back in cash to me. To get my drink took even longer. The whole process seemed extremely chaotic & painfully slow in this place thats very small. They also advertised free charms with any purchase, but I had to request mine.
