My friend said the matcha lemonade had more of a lemon and matcha flavor. We thought it was odd the menu board gave the option of "hot" or "iced" for lemonade since lemonade is never hot. Plenty of seating, most of which was open. They have loose leaf teas and other merch for sale. I bought a boba sticker for $1! Service was friendly. Only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that there was no AC (or it was broken?). Given how humid it was, the cool air would have felt good. I don't live in the area but would come back if I did, especially if the weather was cooler.

I call it a win when I don't have to pay over $9. The workers there have been kind and helpful with recommendations. When I went to the location at Mall of America, it didn't seem like they have alternative milk. The employees at the MOA where to themselves. I'm lactose intolerant. This guy at Eat Street Crossing asked if I had any questions, which I ask if the drinks can be made with almond or soymilk, he said yes and just to let him know which drink. He did let me know there was some dairy, which I can tolerate, but that experience made a difference, because I'd probably walk away if he didn't check in.

The one in Minneapolis is very strict on how they make their matcha floats like there's no substitutions. When I was in Waikiki Beach and if I ordered a Matcha float, I always ask for no ice and so they would fill it full of Matcha ice cream and then the cold Matcha tea premade in a pitcher from their fridge (i'm assuming because people ask for it this way all the time so they have to make a stock pile of it first because you don't wanna pour hot Matcha tea over ice cream) but they won't do that here in Minneapolis. You cannot get it without ice in Minneapolis cause they make the Matcha tea fresh so it's hot and they pour it over the ice and it melts the ice a little bit and then they put the matcha ice cream on top of that. lol i'm sure people ask for NO ICE all the time so now it says that right on the menu that you have to get it with ice booooo. The flavor of the Matcha is super strong like it will energize you like no other. It is an absolute great. Pick me up for a late afternoon. I also want to mention that the drinks aren't creamy (aside from the chocolatey ones) and that they aren't filled with grams upon grams of sugar. Jinx's boba is lighter but the flavors are still there. I suspect that when people call the drinks watery, that they were expecting a conventional boba tea. I put up some photos of the shop and it's simple, clean, and aesthetically pleasing. The environment it chilled out and a place I would bring my laptop to. The staff's pretty nice and open to telling you about themselves and what they stand for. Which is sustainability without shoving it down your throat for example biodegradable cups and lids (and im totally for it). They also pride themselves on having a different approach to steeping the tea, which is cold brewed (it's essentially where tea is steeped in cold water for an extended period of time). I got the raspberry blood orange boba tea. It was incredibly refreshing and a bit tart. Their boba tea is different in comparison to the classic sweet, creamy boba teas. There was fresh juice in the tea and it wasn't overly sugary which was great. I can't wait to try out their store front!
