Instead of apologizing or taking responsibility, they did nothing to accommodate the situation, even though the mistake was on their end. What was most frustrating wasn't just the incorrect order--it was the complete lack of customer service. A simple apology or an effort to make things right would have gone a long way, but neither happened. As someone who regularly places large orders for work events and parties, this experience has cost you a loyal customer. I just visited Tii Cup for the first time. I wasn't super impressed by the ambiance - things seemed to be a little out of place or shifted around but to be fair I did come around 8 pm so they may have been starting to clean up. Service was fine and my drink tasted good. One thing that threw me off a little was the straws were all just sitting in a container unwrapped which made me realize I definitely prefer for them to be individually wrapped as it gives me a bit more peace of mind that others germs aren't all over it if they're grabbing from the same place. I have been coming here for Boba for about 3 years. But after today I will never be back. The quality and customer have gone down considerably. I was there today with my daughter, and our Boba tasted old and chewy, I went to tell the staff that it didn't taste right or good. The girl didn't apologize or suggest doing anything about it, but instead she popped a boba in her mouth and said it taste fine. That was it. We left with no plans of ever going back.. I've visited this Tii Cup location a few times but it's been a while and I was unfortunately a bit disappointed with my visit. Before I get into that, I'll give the positives: they have a really great menu with a ton of flavors and consistencies (ie. Blended vs over ice, waffles, etc). Today I was the only person in there so service was fast, although I have seen it packed on weekends. Today I chose a taro tea with boba over ice. I confirmed i could get taro without coconut (their menu listed a taro-coco) and the guy said yes. I also asked for 50% sweetness. The drink I got was super sweet and both smelled and tasted mildly of coconut. Could it just be the black tea base? Maybe, as I usually pick green tea. The really negative part though was the boba itself- It was very dense in the center. All in all, I will probably try Tii Cup again but may consider some of the other local options first. read more

Terrible customer service! Ordered what was labeled as Pomegranate ice tea on the kiosk. It was made with green tea but not specified what tea the drink was made with. When I received it and told them I really did not like green tea and would like for it to be made black they told me that's not an option and I should have said black tea only for them to let me know that can't be done because of the recipe. I asked them how I was supposed to know to specify black tea when it never stated it was made differently? The girls working told me that was my fault, nothing was wrong and they weren't going to do anything about it. I've been to Tii cup many times and their golden milk tea is the best black milk tea in MN for many years. A couple other chains like Uni Uni, Mi Tea have opened up in the area and may have surpassed it, but personally, you cannot go wrong with their class golden milk tea if you prefer black tea. Their creme brulee milk tea is delicious too! You're basically paying for a cheese foam top with brulee sugar and with the golden milk tea too. I always get the same thing: plain milk tea no boba. But I also tried their taro with both strawberry and mango bursting bubbles. The taro has a nice flavor and those bursting bubbles were a nice addition. Tii Cup is probably one of the most affordable bubble tea options in the twin cities, I was surprised. Hands down one of the best bubble tea places I've been too. They were open on the 4th of July as well. Better than Kung Fu Tea and Gong Cha. You place your order on a machine. Prices here a very reasonable, cheaper than regular bubble tea stores. We ordered a golden milk tea with boba ($4.45), Icii with Tri-color lychee ($5.00), hot oolong fresh tea ($4.50) and strawberry mango iced tea with boba ($4.75). There are lots of seats and the service was great! Nice little coffee and tea shop located in Burnsville, this place specializes in bubble teas. The place is really neat, bright greens and whites make the area look so trendy. You almost feel like you are in Uptown Minneapolis. I tried the Royal Thai Tea with Boba pearls. I lived in Thailand for awhile so I know what really Thai Tea should taste like and this was almost spot on. Very refreshing and the Boba brought a nice chew to the drink. With neat flavors like JackFruit and Passionfruit, and interesting add-ons like jellies and chews, there is always something to try, lots of options. Drink are good....my issue is that I've been here multiple times with my family and I understand that it takes time to make the teas but when you wait almost 30 minutes for 2 drinks that's cost almost $10 to get your order and then it was wrong and you charge me when it was the employees mistake....that's bad service. Why have I never been here before?! It took me a long time to commit to what I wanted to order. The menu was very colorful and detailed. The difficulty was more about narrowing it down to just 1 drink, since everything looked delicious! I landed on a taro and pineapple boba drink without tea. I would describe the taste as hearty, yet sweet. I will have to ask next time, but I hope its not all syrup, but real fruit used. (If not, don't tell me, it'll lower the stars!) The interior is bright, light and has a pop art feel. I appreciate that they will reuse and/or recycle the dishes. I plan to come back here when I am in the mood for a dessert with the Biing. And after ordering, it took half an hour to get my two milk teas. I understand that there were other people waiting for drinks, but with 4 employees, that took way too long. Ive never waited more than 5 or 10 minutes for a milk tea before, even when busy. I got the special TaroCoco drink, which was good. The lychee was really good! Not my favorite milk tea, but still definitely good! Good milk tea, but not worth over half an hour wait. I could make it at home for faster, and cheaper so I'm not sure if I'll be back. Tried the Burnsville location today and was very disappointed. They were very busy, had good service and balancing training two new hires. Bloody Mango - good flavor and they were kind enough to throw in some extra tamarind candy sticks. (4 ) Taro milk tea with boba - color was a murky purple brown color. We weren't sure what it was and had to confirm it was the taro milk tea. Flavor was watered down and had a faint taro flavor. Do not recommend Matcha milk tea - very light matcha flavor. Not what I was accustomed to. Good if you prefer a light green tea but not what I would consider for matcha. Thai tea with boba - color and consistency is good. My son prefers honey boba milk tea but wanted to try something different. He enjoyed this drink read more

Tii Cup has many different options for things you can put in your drink, but you also have the option to order your drink with nothing in it at all. I have been to many different Bubble tea shops, and Tii Cup is not the best but it is very good. The staff was very kind and my drink was ready for me a minute after I payed. Tii Cup has a very fun and hip setting, as well as a great seating area. If you want a fun unique and tasty drink I recommend you try Tii Cup. Tii Cup has definitely improved since I first started coming here. First of all, they've added more drink options and even bubble waffles! My favorite drinks are: - Jasmine Milk Tea - I order this with less sugar and no toppings. It's probably my favorite Jasmine Tea in the Twin Cities - Avocado Shake - I recommend getting the regular because the larger it is, the more diluted it will be I've only had the bubble waffle once. I tried "The Hulk" which is the Pandan Waffle with toasted coconut. You can't really go wrong with a traditional bubble waffle. read more

I've been to tii cup about 3 times this week since my fiance discovered it for me. The space is really cute, with plenty of seating and board games as well! Parking was a breeze because they share a giant prking lot with other busineses. Ive tried a lot of taro bubble tea and they have one of the best ones I've tried in the twin cities! It actually tastes like taro and not just powder. The avocado smoothie was okay, but it had a little too much ice in my opinion... So it tasted a little bland. Their waffles are also really good and reasonaby priced :) I've been looking for a puff waffle place and I'm glad they serve it here! We actually also ended up ordering a taro biing, which is Taiwanese shaved snow, and the texture was unlike any ice cream/shave ice I've had! Its a must try. I ended up putting some taro biing on the waffle and it was a good combo :) Their other location has Taiwanese popcorn chicken and that is a MUST TRY. It's really good. We went a little out of our way to come here and I absolutely do not regret it. Aside from the bubble tea cafe in my home town (never been beat!), this place is the best. I ordered Taro black milk tea with original boba (regular plus boba upcharge about $4.20). I was a little nervous, having been very recently burned at a different place by taro (my usual favorite), but instinct won out last minute. But no need... IT WAS SO DELICIOUS. I've never been somewhere that lets you choose both the flavor AND the kind of tea. Naturally this was very impressive. The taro was sweet and nutty but milder than the strong black tea (just the way I like it, could be too strong for not tea-lovers). The boba was more firm than some but had good flavor. My dad got the Jasmine milk tea with original boba (only about $3.60? Not sure why it was less expensive. Same size as mine). It was also very tasty. True to form, it packed a strong floral taste which is an acquired taste for some... But we both enjoyed it. My mom ordered the Mango Tango Biing which is somewhere between ice cream and shave ice. Kinda like a slightly creamy popsicle. The mango flavor was perfume-like, in a pleasant way of course. The fruit on top was very fresh and had an excellent texture. It was sweet, tangy, and refreshing. And cold. Very cold. My only regret is I (living out of town) won't be able to come here more often to try absolutely everything! Bubble tea anyone? I like the drinks they have to sizes regular or large and have a large menu. Icci are just blended drinks we ordered a mango flavored (syrup flavoring) and the red bean milk tea iced. Red beans were perfectly cooked the tea was just ok. Service was quick and very friendly! They have one big sofa and a few small tables. No food options here because they don't have a kitchen and don't plan to have any.
