This fun spot has excellent quality wines and they pour $5 during happy hour. We sat on the patio and it was very sunny and warm but a handy umbrella covered us well. We had quick service when we arrived although it did fall off as the bar became more busy. Stop by for a meeting or a quick beverage before visiting Longs Peak Pub next door for dinner. Kuper your SUPER!!! A hidden gem in the wall located in downtown Longmont on Coffman St. & Longspeak Ave. Right in between Sweet Cow and Longspeak Pub. My dear friends and I had a last night minute get-together and agreed to meet at Kuper Wine Bar. One friend read some great reviews, so here I am providing mine :-) I arrived earlier than the other 2 to save us a table and was impressed by the live music (single guy) playing and the staff welcoming. We had Hannah as a host and she was lovely! We even got to hear her sing! I ordered a Staff Flight (came with 4 1 Oz. Tasters) and had Hannah pick some great wines. I ended up having a little of everything. Started with a bubbly white, to a rose, and then a delicious red. I also ordered a charcuterie board that was to die for! I have 3 different meats, 3 different cheeses, a couple different spreads (one was onuon and the other eas fig), dried apricot, the tiniest pickles that I've ever seen and some yummy crackers. Oh! I can't forget the olives!!! I really liked the olives! My friends and I plan to be back in early January to celebrate my birthday! See you all again Super Kuper! read more

We have been needing a place like this for a while. They cater to beer and wine people(Heavy on the Wine), but a good local brewery is offered. The edibles are well done and tasty. Atmosphere is pleasant and can be a bit loud when they have a musician playing. All in all a must go for a great experience. read more

Stopped there with friends and family. Service was great. Staff knowledgeable about wine. Great selection . Comfortable seating and fairly quiet for conversation. Food is very limited. Enjoyed the selections of wine. Thursday is a good day to go. They do have a limited selection of beer for non-wine drinkers. I consider this 4.5 stars only because of limited menu. read more

If you are looking for a noisy, exciting night spot in downtown Longmont, well keep walking, this ain't it. But if you want a very nice place where you can sit with friends, drink excellent wines that you have probably not seen before, and maybe nosh on some fine snacks (no pub grub) this may be the place for you. Good food, great drinks in a comfortable, welcoming surrounding. Don't know wines? Just ask. The staff does. They know their stuff on wines. I've never had anything that I would rate less than 8.9 on a Wine Spectator scale. They know small bite food as well. Try the parmesan crackers. They should sell these. It is packed full prime time on Thurs, Fri, Sat. But they take reservations. There are always a couple tables held open for walk-ins but those tend to go pretty fast. I suspect this will continue even when it gets warmer and the patio is more accessible. A great place to spend some time or for a date that you want to impress. read more
