Instead, she treated me as an afterthought & completely failed to protect me. The most shocking example was during mediation. Instead of representing me, Ann sent an unqualified, clueless young man who wasn't even a paralegal. He sat there lost, unable to answer the mediator's questions, leaving me vulnerable & alone against my ex-husband & his lawyer. When Ann finally showed up, she chatted casually with the mediator, explained she had another mediation at the same time, then disappeared again. I was left defenseless, forced to accept whatever my ex wanted, despite paying Ann to fight for me. Worse, the mediation agreements were never accurately included in the final divorce decree. My ex had agreed to take on two specific debts, but due to Ann's gross negligence, they were left out. When I asked her to fix this, she arrogantly told me it was too late & demanded more money to file a new case--for her own mistake! Because those debts stayed on my credit, I have suffered devastating consequences: ruined credit, 22-30 missed payments reported, & multiple mortgage & rental denials.
