We were looking for a shop that could assist us with our dealership's western regional social media marketing campaign with Lexus. The brand new 2016 Lexus RX350/450h SUV were just being released in late Nov and Lexus wanted the dealerships to wrap a new Lexus RX SUV in a theme of the dealership's choosing. Many other dealerships chose holiday themes with their RXs looking like winter or wrapped presents. We decided on another route...what felt almost bigger than the holidays during this time? Star Wars! When I first approached the shop, it was easy to get to, plenty of parking in their customer lot in front and was first greeted by owner, Sam Eldam. Sam was friendly and open to listening to what ideas I had in mind. Since we had created some digital mock ups earlier, I shared those with Sam and he instantly had ideas of how to help us achieve our goals. Since we were one week before Thanksgiving and although Sam was willing to try to squeeze us in before Thanksgiving. Our goal was to have our project completed by the first week of December, so we choose a day to bring the Lexus down after Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Sam and his brother Will both made us feel that our brand new Lexus was in good hands. With only a digital mock up and about 4 days, the finished product turned out better than we hoped for. Sam felt the Lexus would have more "pop" if he added some LED lighting under the body and behind the grille. With the help of Sam and Will, our dealership was able to win one of four categories of the Lexus social media campaign! Would we use Kuttek Works again in the future? Of course, as I have plans to bring them my own personal car for some Star Wars themed vinyl in the near future as well. Overall: Pricing: comparable to other shops but with one difference. Sam and Will don't work for those other shops. A customer needs to feel confident that their vehicle is in good hands. Facilities: its a shop, not a boutique, so it will look like a place of work but the showroom is clean and neat. Cons: None that we experienced. Just make sure to have a clear idea of your project that helps make the end result that much more perfect! read more

I am writing this review to warn other women about the treatment I received from this company. The reason why I'm writing this review is because business are way to comfortable holding black women against our will and are not receiving any repercussions for doing so, which is causing it to continue. I hired this company to design and wrap my van. I informed Wisam (Sam) that my budget was $6k, (that was my first mistake). He designs a modern, simple wrap and I approve it. And guess how much the wrap costs me? Yep! $6k. After everything was said and done, THREE different wrap companies, told me that the cost for wrapping a van the size of mine would be close to $4200. The night I came to pick my van up which was 2 days after it was supposed to be done and they had to "rush" to get it done then, and only after I had to strongly assert myself and spoke to Wael. Long story short, THEY PUT THE WRONG COLORS ON MY VAN! And then expected for me to sign away their responsibility to correct it! Nope! I spent close to 3 hours at this establishment to pick up my van, not because I wanted to but because they PHYSICALLY HELD ME THERE AGAINST MY WILL BY TAKING THEIR VEHICLE AND BLOCKING MY VAN IN SO THAT I COULD NOT LEAVE. I went there alone, not thinking anything of it. There were 4 men there, after they blocked me in I had to call the police. After I was blocked in everything escalated! My keys were only given back to my cousin who was a man and arrived later. WOMEN: MOST IMPORTANTLY BLACK WOMEN: DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS UNLESS YOU HAVE A MAN WITH YOU THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE PROCESS. Which is ridiculous to have to do. DO NOT PAY THIS BUSINESS IN CASH, PAY THEM WITH A CARD CHECK THEIR PRINTOUTS PRIOR TO HAVING IT PLACED ON YOUR VEHICLE They try to call me a racist after everything was said and done. Really?!? As we are fairly new to the area, I did not have a preferred company to use for repairs, and so was given 3 to choose from. Kuttek Works was the first on the list. I went to Yelp and saw the 5 star reviews, so I said "let's go with them!" Excellent choice. Kuttek Works made the replacement of my windshield as easy as possible. They scheduled a time to come out to my house and replace the glass, although they had to reschedule because they were not able to obtain the new windshield as quickly as they were able to fit me into the schedule. I was given a 2 hour time frame, and they called half an hour before arriving. Will and Bob completed the work quickly and professionally, and they even reattached my FasTrak for me. I was told how to care for my new windshield for the next few days, and with my insurance only had to pay a $50 deductible. read more

My car was broken into recently in an attempted stereo theft and he managed to take care of me and my car within 24 hours. Called at 8:30 to make an appt for that day, got one by 4:00 same day they were friendly over the phone gave me a quote and even offered a coupon. by the way the price is UNBEATABLE!! compared to other places I had called. I arrived with my 3yr old, and a very nice guy assisted me and took my car around to the back right away..he said it would take about 45mins which was an accurate amount of time.He was very sweet and even gave my son some cute little toys to play with ! a total bonus with me !! They fixed my window and it looks great no problems what so ever he also told me that the window was an upgraded version and had little extra tint up at the top..bouns #2 and bounus #3 is that he tells me the first rock chip repair is free with in year! because my windshields seem to ATTRACK rocks like its nobodys business Ok ok so the ONLY negative and I mean ONLY was that the second I walked in the place reeeeeked of smoke masked by a watermelon scented candle and I DESPISE the smell of smoke especially with my son present.. they would smoke right in the garage with the smell floating directly into the lobby and around my car with the doors open when the smell got worse we would have to go and sit out front on the busy doolittle street!! minus the smoke it was great SERVICE and great PRICE! read more

Some crackhead busted into my car, while partying at the End Up early Sunday morning, busting a window, grabbing a camera and a couple of iPhones (costumes not designed with 21st century connectivity needs in mind). Called the insurance company early Monday afternoon, and by 5:30 P.M., Sam had driven out to my home in boring Pleasanton, replaced the glass, and cleaned up the mess in the back seat. Took them maybe 20 minutes to do the whole job --and a great job they did. The price was so low that it didn't even hit my already low deductible on my auto insurance. I decided to go with them for several reasons, including: 1. Reasonable price ($175) 2. Excellent and numerous Yelp reviews 3. Close to my work, enabling a quick lunchtime pit-stop 4. Better communication on the phone - menioned OEM quality glass So I called and scheduled an appointment. When I arrived, Sam got right to work and knocked out a new windshield by himself in about 40 minutes. As I waited, I bullshitted around on my phone and checked in on Yelp - and they had a free glass cleaner offer just for checking in (I love free shit)! Anyway, this was a very painless and positive experience. Sam did exactly what I wanted (replaced the windshield), was efficient (40 minutes) and I prefer doing business with local small shops. The only recommendation I would have for this establishment is better signage - it was not easy to spot your sign and I had to look back to the Unit number. Then, when I parked in the front, I had to pull around to the back to have my vehicle worked on. Not a big deal to me, but some snobby folks may bitch about that. read more

I first heard about their services at work - Children's Hospital - when they called to offer to do a fundraiser for us; $25 windshield repairs, with all the money going to the hospital. I didn't actually NEED their services (had a few pockmarks but nothing serious) but just a few weeks later a truck kicked up a stone and wouldn't'cha know, DING goes the windshield. This place is very rude!! Guy who answered the phone says, "I'm not going to wrap little details on your vehicle. Just full wraps. We will not wrap detailed accents on your vehicle just because you need it. It's either full wrap or nothing". Then I asked if they did car racing stripes there and if I got the racing stripes and car handles wrapped would that be possible? I decided to fix my boyfriend's windshield as a surprise Christmas gift. He's flying back to the Bay Area, arriving this afternoon, so I was in a hurry to find a place that could do the job quickly and affordably. I did an internet search and Kuttek was one of the companies that came up in my results list. I called a few places, got quote, then read several of the stellar reviews and decided to give my business to Kuttek. I was greeted by Sam, who is SUPER friendly and made me feel completely at ease. I took my dogs with me so that I could walk them while Kuttek did the windshield replacement. It took about an hour, and looks great! Sam even threw in a few extra fixes for me at no charge! They've moved to a new space and Sam kept apologizing for the appearance of the new space, as they're in the midst of remodeling. So considerate!
