Sent my 2026 GMC AT4 2500 in for outside above cab lights and a tunnel cover and was referred by Dublin GMC after my new purchase. They scratched the heck out of the roof and wasn't even remorseful and also the tunnel cover hasn't sat flat on the edges at the middle fold and was told it'll flatten out with time in the sun . In 2025, I needed to add an electric trunk door opener for my 2013 RAV 4. Toyota wasn't able to provide one. I called various garages in the East Bay. Only Autohaus in Hayward said they could do it. They were able to order and install a new dashboard and all the electronics needed. The dashboard looks like it was always there, and the opener works seamlessly. The cost was affordable and fair. The fact that Autohaus could do what Toyota couldn't do for a 12-year-old RAV 4 was amazing. I wI'll use Autohaus for any future need. read more

All of my family's stable of whips gets the full effect with tinting from Autohaus! There is never a question who does the finest ceramic tint in the East Bay. Ceramic tint is a premium window tint that is coated in ceramic nanoparticles to help reject heat and glare while blocking infrared light. Because of the ceramic coating applied to the film, it costs twice as much as standard window tint, but this added cost has major benefits. Autohaus only uses the finest products. My Mercedes Benz will be transported to my home in Las Vegas. Because Vegas is higher in elevation, the UV rays from the sun can be more intense than other areas of the country. Colosseum Lexus referred me to Auto Haus for paint protection film for my new Lexus NX 350H. Mathew was great to deal with and patiently and thoroughly explained my options and didn't try to upsell me. He offered me a perfect solution for what I was asking for which was better coverage than the factory film. The end result was beyond my expectations and just tremendous. The gloss and look of the film was as good or better than the ceramic coating on the rest of the car. The way they apply the film to cover each of the front body parts not only provides greater protection, but it makes the film all but invisible to the eye with no seam or edges. Add to this the 10 year warranty, which is double the factory film warranty and I couldn't be happier with the result. While their approach costs more than the factory film, the exceedingly better coverage combined with the beauty of the result, makes it worth the difference. If it was posible to put negative starts I totally would!!! Had the worst experience at this place!! Dealing with rude front desk people. About 2 months or so me and my boy friend wanted to get our car wrapped. The first time we came in to get a quote the front desk people seemed to be nice everything went well. We then made a decision to get it wrapped with them we came in a second time to do all the paper work and start the process. We picked the color of the wrap we wanted. Witch was a dark yellow(mustard yellow). The guy then gave us a copy of the paper work where the code of the color was printed. They asked us to bring the car And said the car would be ready within a week. A few days went by and we hadn't herd from them. We decided to go to the shop and see the process on the car. We get there and the car is halfway wrapped..... BUT THE CAR ISNT EVEN WRAPPED WITH THE COLOR WE HAD CHOSEN!!! It was like a lime yellow greenish color !!! We tell the guy that it wasn't the wrap we had picked.... he then tried to argue with us and say, "That is the color you picked", his face turned red and started sweating. He asked us to walk into the office so that he can show us the paper work he had saved at the office. He brought it up pretty quick but then hesitated and went to the back room with the paper work and when he came back he showed us the code of the wrapped that we had "supposedly chosen " the lime yellow wrap.... I immediately notice that the wrap he order and the wrap we had choose had almost the same code, there was just one number difference. The paper he showed us had a 6 at the end of the code written with pen and the wrap code number we had actually chosen had a 5!! What this guy did was when he went to the back office he made the 5 look like a 6... he kept insisting that we had chosen that wrap.... Me and my boy friend decided to go home and pick up our paper work to see if our paper work had a 6 or a 5 at the end of the wrap code and it was a 5 so we were right we had proof. We drove back to the shop to show him. He was now apologizing to us this and that..... to make it short they kept our car for a month !!! The work they put into that wrap was horrible!!! It seems to us that they didn't buy the full wrap color and just ordered half and tried to wrap the whole car with it !! They over lapped some parts when we clearly told them Not to !! Thank you to the Autohaus team and especially to Matt! We recently installed blind spot monitors, front and rear sensors and a Camcorder on our new Toyota Corolla Cross. The Thinkware U3000 is a newer model which Matt special ordered for us. Matt answered all my questions promptly and patiently explained the different options and gave us a quote right away. They arranged for to pickup our car when our parts came in and dropped it off after the work is done. I especially like the fact that the assigned driver went over the car with a checklist to make sure we are on the same page regarding exterior condition. The company has a very professional atitude. When my son came by, he said the work was very professionally done. He got his camcorder intalled on a Volkswagon SUV with a local shop and is satisfied with the work, but he remarked that ours definitely shows professionalism. I think Autohaus does work for dealership as well so I think the service quality is really good. Follow up questions are also very timely. Very disappointed. Shop came as a recommendation from a buddy. Didn't call or text to schedule as promised. When arrived told they didn't have anyone to work on my truck. So dropped off a roll bar and was told to come back 2 weeks later. Showed up at open, at almost closing I called and said it doesn't fit. Went to pick up my truck and bar, I highly suspect they never tried. Took bar to a shop in Fremont, they had it done no problem. I always try to go to a buddy's recommendation but this was a huge disappointment. Wasted a lot of time here. read more

A few weeks ago, I was referred to Autohaus to order a factory amp upgrade for my 2020 X3. Joe was awesome in explaining what to expect, how long the job would take to complete etc. He also suggested that I emailed a playing list so that the tuner tech would be able to adjust the sound based on my music tastes (which is very diverse). Folks, if you truly value your listening experience, I say this step is necessary. You need to consider the dynamic range of the music you enjoy listening to! The upgrade went well and I was pleased. Joe explained that he felt we could get more from the under seat subs (aftermarket) to open up the sound by adding an additional piece which was relatively inexpensive, but I should see how I felt for a few weeks and let him know if I wanted to go ahead with the additional piece (sorry, I can't remember what it is). I'm somewhat of a sound geek and completely agreed with his assessment after a few days and had him order the piece and booked an appointment (it was yesterday). All I can say is WOW! Totally opened up the sound stage in my car! The tuner, Dan, did a phenomenal job placing the module (completely invisible) and retuned the system. When Joe explained the operation of the module and I started to listen to my music, I was simply floored. So much so, in fact, that I sat in my car for about an hour listening to music after I got home. I first contacted Autohaus through Yelp's project page for installing an aftermarket radio on my car. Matthew from Autohaus responded right away with a quotes and timelines for installing my radio and was scheduled for two days later. After I dropped my car off Matthew kept me in the loop via text that that specific radio would not work and that they would need an additional day to get a compatible radio. Once installed I was not entirely happy with how the radio sat in my dashboard, it was not flush and sat out about 1/4in. Matthew was able to get me in another day to get a adapter kit that would have the radio sit flush free of charge. Also I had a clear bra installed on my car and Matthew was able to give me a discount since I was having quite a bit of work done at Autohaus. I can fully recommend Autohaus if you want fantastic customer service and folks that care about the finished product. They may be on the higher end of cost, but you are paying a premium for quality work and great customer service. read more
