For as long as I can remember, the one thing I have always wanted beauty-wise is clear skin. For many years, that just seemed like the impossible dream. In fact, over the past year, my acne just seemed to explode! I'm 31 and was told it was mostly hormonal acne, but for some reason it just kept spreading and spreading. This can be quite damaging to one's self esteem and it's even painful! This is was led me to seek out help from an esthetician. I'm SO thankful I found Kathleen! She made the impossible happen!! After only 5 treatments from her, would you believe my acne is completely gone?? I have, of course been trying to treat the cause of the acne, but am 100% positive that without these treatments I would still be battling a seemingly loosing battle. What ever your skin concern is, I'm confident Kathleen will surely know what you need! She has a lot of experience, and my face is proof of that! She actually gives some of the most gentle facials I've ever had. Prices I would say are average for facials (I think ranging from $60-75) But, she regularly does good deals on packages. I actually originally found her through groupon; she did such a great job in just 3 sessions, I became a regular client. I had a facial with Kathleen when I was about 4 months postpartum and my skin was a hot mess from hormones. I had started wearing makeup shortly before this facial because my skin had been looking so crappy and lackluster. The facial was lovely and relaxing with lots of steam. The best part was my husband commenting on how I "was glowing" afterwards. A month or two later and my skin still looks fantastic and I haven't had to wear makeup! I first went for an appointment with Kwest Esthetics about 9 months ago and noticed I had been having a lot of skin issues (I..e., acne breakouts) as a result of stress. She was able to give me great advice about which facial would most benefit my skin and give me excellent tips about in-home skincare. Fast forward about 9 months and my acne has drastically improved; now, I schedule appointments to help with hyperpigmentation from acne scarring and maintenance facials. She always offers very diplomatic options and explains each facial procedure thoroughly to help you choose the skincare option which will give you the best results. I tried out this place with a groupon, as my skin had been suffering from the Arizona heat. I went in, asking for specialized treatment for my peeling skin, and Kathleen recommended a lactic acid treatment as my sole option. This was the only and I hope last time that I leave a facial treatment with much worse skin than when I entered. My skin has been red and rough since the treatment yesterday, during which one of the ingredients burned my skin for about 2 minutes straight. I suppose that I shouldn't be surprised that burning sensations are not good for the skin longterm! read more

Loved my facial. I went in on a groupon deal, and loved the facial so much I ended up buying a package of 3. Today was my second facial and it was every bit as great as the first one. Kathleen tells me everything she is putting on my face, and it is always to my liking, also she customizes the facial to accommodate me. Just little things, like I really HATE steam, that sort of thing. Also really nice that she remembered from the last time that I don't like it and I didn't have to tell her again. She is very personable, I LOVE my skin, I always leave her looking very fresh and bright, and I love the smell of the product she uses. I will definitely keep coming back. I went a few days ago with my friend to get a facial and we saw Kathleen. Don't ever go to her. I told her my face was really dry in some spots, hoping she could do something about that. During the facial she doesn't tell you what she's putting on your face. She doesn't really care about the type of skin you have. She used the same products on my friend and I (we have 2 completely different skin types). She was not gentle AT ALL. 3 days later my face is peeling horribly and so is my friends. The facial took about 30 minutes and I paid for a 50 minute. Definitely not worth the $40 I spent. Such a rip off. read more

Absolutely love the facials that Kathleen gives! She gives a full hour facial unlike some other places that are only 25 minutes. I have had a variety of facials done by Kathleen and each one has been fantastic! My skin glows. Her fingers are magic on my face. Not sure how she can move her fingers so lightly and quickly over my skin when she is applying the different products. I feel wonderfully pampered when I leave. read more
