Finally somewhere that's not far from home, AND amazing. I had booked a last minute appointment online because I hardly have time to even make a quick call and the online booking process was seamless! No issues! I usually find when I book something online it somehow gets overlooked or there's a glitch or something but nope, not here! This is the second time getting my lips filled and I am so happy I discovered Elemental Aesthetics. Upon walking in, I was immediately greeted by Brandy, she was very warm and welcoming. Brandy was also very informative. After completing my paperwork there was another woman, not sure her name but she was also kind and just said hi. Dr. Swanick was AMAZING. First of all, I am a fainter. I will faint when I give blood and the first time I got my lips done I almost fainted. I warned Dr. Swanick and she explained to me what can cause that and she even told me how we will try our best to prevent that from happening. Obviously my body will react however it wants to. Anyways after giving me info on everything about getting my lips done, I decided to move forward and get them done! I DID NOT FAINT. I was so shocked, in fact the numbing cream Dr. Swanick uses is phenomenal! I hardly felt anything, and when it comes to needles, my pain tolerance is not great at all. The absolute best place EVER! I've been going here for around 3-4 years and every experience has been incredible. Don't recommend. Went for Botox and accepted appointment with a different injector then previous appts. She completely disregarded what I came in the for, expressed how filler was the better solution. Somehow I got sold into 2 syringes and in the end, it was horrible. Did not have a positive effect on any of my concerns and then only emphasized the problem areas I had discussed. Never even got the botox as she felt it should wait. The injections were painful and I had pretty extreme bruising later which I hadn't experienced before. Upon leaving I was extremely upset, I had a company event I needed to travel for the following week and I looked like I had suddenly gained 15 lbs in just the lower half of my face as well as being lopsided. I made this known to Dr.Swannick before leaving almost in tears, asked her to take it out immediately and unlike the offer made to another poster I saw in reviews. I was denied her dissolving it then and there, I was told I needed to wait at least 2wks before she could dissolve. After I left I contacted Dr.swannick by email and after some back n forth over some days, she finally decided to provide a full refund. However at this point, I had already been made to feel extremely dismissed and unheard as a paying customer, not to mention I had to go around with my face looking like a lopsided chipmunk for almost 2 weeks before I found somewhere that had a slot to get me in for dissolving, in which case I had to pay for. I had been going to Dr.Swannick for a few years for Botox and never had issues prior, so this experience was not only maddening but extremely disappointing. Not just in the service but even more so in the mishandling of after the fact. To make a paying customer feel dismissed and as if the team members bitched work was normal and completely acceptable is a problem in itself. The reality is sometimes some injectors aren't as experienced or knowledgeable or their technique is poor or maybe they are just having an off day, who knows, and I understand wanting to be supportive of your employees, but when they screw up, I think it's time that it starts being recognized and addressed then and there to make right. Elemental Aesthetics has been a god-send for me. I've been researching some procedures and local clinics recently and found myself going into a couple of offices that me feeling a bit unsettled and uncomfortable. Going to a clinic can be inherently awkward because you're essentially sitting in a room surrounded by beautiful people telling you all of the things you can do or buy to be more beautiful. It's the unfortunate nature of the business sometimes. I eventually stumbled upon Elemental and booked a consultation/appointment online and have been so, so happy with the results. All of the staff is incredibly kind and sincere and they never make me feel pressured to purchase a specific product or get a procedure done. It's about having a conversation about what you want, what your expectations are, and what you truly need to get those results, which is unlike any other clinic I've been to. I recently got some lip fillers done by Trisha Nordaune, and the results are exactly what I hoped they would be. I went in to get a check-up with her and mentioned how much I loved them and how I'd possibly be interested in getting a little bit more added. She patiently sat with me and talked about it and we ultimately decided that I should wait a few more weeks and not rush into getting more. Another clinic could've easily said "ok!" and done the work right then and there. But Trisha and I had a discussion and I've decided to wait for now, and will likely hold off and just do maintenance fills in the future. She is a precious angel. I also got some microdermabrasion done by Megan and will absolutely be going back in for routine facials/microdermabrasion. What I said about Trisha is also true for Megan; she sat with me patiently, listened to my concerns about my skin, then made recommendations for routines/products I can use at home as well as their offerings at the clinic. Going into an office where there is no pressure placed on you is basically unheard of, let alone having a staff that is sensitive to the situation but also just great people all around. I can't speak highly enough about Elemental and truly recommend that others check them out as well. Know that this is a clinic you can walk into and actually have a dialogue with someone about what you want/need without being pressured or having someone make you feel even more insecure. After going to a top rated clinic yesterday I noticed some irregularities/ color blanching today however there was no emergency phone number for me to call and nobody was answering my emails. I came into this office today and my fears were eliminated by the doctors assessment of my filler and a small amount of dissolver in an area of concern. This will be my go-to clinic from here on out. I've been meaning to post a review for awhile now and I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Swanick. I am terrified of needles and I was SO nervous my first time getting lip filler- she made the initial process so easy and made me so comfortable, she even kept the needle out of sight for me the whole time to make me feel better and walked me through everything beforehand. I've seen her 4 times now since February and I can't believe my before and afters!! My lips have anyways been something I've struggled being confident with and so when a friend recommended me to her after seeing her results I knew I had to go. Now whenever I go for more I feel completely at ease and I kind of find it relaxing now which I would have NEVER imagined before ever going. I cannot believe how confident I feel now looking in the mirror after being so self conscious with my lips before and I cannot thank her enough. I didn't even know my lips had so much color to them before until I got filler and could actually see them!! People are always asking if I got lip blush! I was searching for a new office to get my injectables and found Elemental Aesthetics. I did my due diligence to research and paid close attention to patient reviews. This office had stellar reviews so I was very happy when they had an opening this week. I shared my areas of concern (smile lines) and the RN performed the fillers. I previously received fillers to address this area but my dermatologist at the time injected a different area to address the same concern. I didn't think anything of this as I thought the application to the direct area may better address the fine lines. After I left the office and examined my face, with and without a smile, I was shocked to see my smile and smile lines were not symmetrical. I know that nobody is perfectly symmetrical. However, my procedure somehow impacted the way my smile projected. I was not happy. One side seemed to pull more than the other to the point that it was visibly and obviously noticeable (wasn't before). I went back and the doctor saw me and heard my concerns. I wanted the asymmetry fixed but after talking to her, it was made clear that she could try to address it but subsequently told me that asymmetry was already there because they didn't inject the area that appeared to be different. REGARDLESS, I expect my technician/injectors to be able to determine if any minor existing asymmetries may be highlighted and provide a treatment plan accordingly to best serve my needs. The doctor was understanding to my concern and the fact I was unsatisfied; especially with my son's graduation ceremony next week! She offered removal of the filler, a refund, and best wishes... which I appreciated and accepted (didn't want lop sided smile!). Overall I was very disappointed with this experience since this has never happened to me over the many years of receiving injectables.... I just hope swelling subsides before the graduation :( read more

I am so happy I found this clinic. I had an unpleasant experience at a different med spa when getting filler for my very first time. I don't want to leave a negative/ mean review but i do feel it is important to share this as a precaution to others considering having services done here. (THIS IS ABOUT LACK OF EXPLANATION FROM ELEMENTAL INJECTORS AND TO WARN ABOUT THE USE OF RADIESSE) I have been to other businesses to have filler/ cosmetic procedure done over the past 2 years. I'll get straight to the point: Upon arrival, I noticed the office space was very clean and welcoming which I enjoyed, however the man at the front desk seemed to be annoyed and was very short with me. I also work in customer service so I know not to always take it personal but he remained this way my entire visit and even when i was checking out. Nonetheless, I didn't let it get to me because I was excited about my appointment. My injector was the only other person in the office and she took me back as soon as she read through my file and got situated. I don't want to mention her name, but she was sooo sweet & very accommodating. I explained to her my concerns with the dimple in my chin & how i wished to "fill it" & how i would also like a more defined jawline. She seemed to understand & said that she would use radiesse or restylane in my jaw & restylane for my chin. That sounded good so i agreed to have filler done right then. I wanted to verify what we were doing so i asked "are we using restylane or radiesse?" (referring to my jaw but i get now that there was probably miscommunication). She asked me what i preferred saying that radiesse provides more bone like results & that she prefers that product herself, so i agreed. When i asked how many syringes she was gonna use she looked at me weird and said "only one". Again i thought we were filling multiple areas so i was very confused at that. After she was filling, i saw that my chin went from square to very pointy & elongated which i wasn't happy with. In fact, i wanted to keep my squared off chin but i guess i never clarified that. She started cleaning up & giving me my final price. I thought we were still doing my jaw at this point but seeing what my chin looked like, i decided to keep quiet about that because i didn't want my jaw to look anything like my chin. Before injecting she also mentioned putting botox in my chin to make sure the dimple doesn't come back but she forgot that as well it seemed. A couple weeks later I went to my regular injector since she was now back in town & upon seeing my chin, she about had a heart attack & kept asking "why would they do that?". She pointed out that my whole chin now looks like it has a big "ball" in it, which i was hoping no one else could notice. Basically, my chin looks like it has a bit of a shelf plus there are these 2 small, hard, round balls on either side of my chin. Which i still have. It's been a month & my chin still hurts AND my dimple is still here. My injector was trying to fix it but since you cannot dissolve radiesse, i'm basically stuck with this chin for 2 yrs! My injector also stressed that no one ever uses radiesse anymore because of that reason & because it makes ur face look very hard and masculine. I want to stress that the injector at Elemental never explained anything to me. I told her what i wanted & she started injecting. That's it. If she ever said that u can't dissolve the product, i would've never gotten it done. I really liked her as a person so maybe i wasn't using my better judgement because she did give off a vibe of being uneducated or new but i figured she might've just been shy. (Plus, she's a sculptor, so she gets the artistic side of things.) 3. Holistic care: An an NMD with extensive aesthetic training, Dr. Swanick doesn't just care for a part of your body. She cares for you as a person. In addition to technical skill, that really matters. It's rare, but Dr. Swanick excels in both. She has an exceptional bedside manner and I always enjoy my visits. 4. Ethics: These days, virtually anyone can hang a shingle and call themselves a "med spa." It's easy for dishonest practitioners (yes, even board certified plastic surgeons) to pump money out of unsuspecting consumers with overpriced products and unnecessary treatments. I NEVER feel like Elemental is trying to sell me on something I don't need, or pressuring me into buying. Tech savvy: This may not matter to everyone, but personally I rely on conveniences like online scheduling, text reminders for appointments, and regular email communication such as newsletters. Way too many practices overlook this, and they are becoming quickly obsolete. The folks at Elemental just get it when it comes to technology, and it makes my life easier. 6. Product: You can bet that if they're selling a particular skincare line, they've thoroughly vetted every individual product for quality and effectiveness. They sell both Revision and Rhonda Allison, so you can create a custom treatment regimen that meets all of your skin's needs, even if one brand doesn't offer 100% of what you're looking for. 7. Results: This is the holy grail. If you are investing in skin care, you need to know that you're getting a return or you are throwing money out the window. Elemental has helped me solve so many skin problems, from texture to discoloration, sun damage, scars, age spots, dryness and more. Since becoming a patient of Dr. Swanick's I've actually started getting unsolicited compliments on how great my skin looks.
