I actually didn't mean to come this location, but the other location had a line out the door with security standing as a bouncer outside. I ended up here and had a better experience, but not a superb experience. When I walked in it was a bit crowded, so I waited by the touchscreen kiosks to order and ended up not using them as no one was observing social distancing and masks were really noticeable either. I ended up using my phone to order through the app, just as efficient and kind of quicker. I felt bad for the employees inside. Constant noise from the entitled, drunk customers. I know if I wasn't enjoying myself they weren't either. MTO stands for Made To Order food, not My Terms Only food. As long as I can remember there was no customization button for special items when ordering food but one such customer insisted on having the food made the way she wanted done a certain way. Backing up the line all the while. Honestly, if you do happen upon a Sheetz that appears busy, order through the app and have the pick up time be ASAP. You can either pay via the app or pay at the counter with the other items you are picking up. You food is usually made as it pops into the queue. Then it is place on that pick up station where you can just grab it an go. As far as the gas prices, much lower than other communities I have been in.

Still at it, I stopped at Sheetz #498 in Blairsville before heading north to Indiana. I ordered an English Muffin with cheese and egg along with a Bacon, Egg Croissant. The muffin was a soggy, untoasted mess. One bite and I threw it out. The Croissant is to be flaky and buttery, it to was microwaved to a powdery puff. Again, one bite and I pitched it all. I spent $48 on has and $10.60 on food. Actually not really food. As bad as McDonalds is, the Egg McMuffin is better than Sheets. I remember when Sheetz Started, they had great sandwiches. Now they lowered their quality and quantity, and serve rubbish. Charge a little more but get your standards back!! A real disappointment Sheetz Boys.

Such a lopsided location for a gas station. I mean, it's weird. If you part on the lower side of the store, prepare yourself for a little climb up the hill. The inside of the store is kind of cramped. They are cramming as much stuff into this little space as they can. It kind of has a musty smell to it and the lighting is dim at best...during the day. The employees look as if they watched 'Clerks' one too many times as they have the personality of sandpaper and the affect of a toy doll. If I had known I was in for this type of experience here, I would have travelled a little further up the road to another spot to pick up what I needed.
