There are 12 pumps. It's bright and clean. Gas prices aren't the lowest, but you're getting quality gas with Techron that may boost your mileage per gallon. I'm for that any day. It's one of the gas stations I get gas from that's along the 210 Fwy on the north side. Just exit Haven Ave and turn towards the mountains. The best part... it's located right across from Trader Joe's, Daiso, McDonald's, and Handel's Ice Cream... 4 of my favorite spots! I've never had any encounter with staff here since I normally pay at the pump. Nevertheless, glad it's here when my gas tank is in need of good fuel. Thanks Haven Chevron!

While returning home to Palm Springs from picking up my sister in Los Angeles @ approx 4pm & in rush hour traffic my alternator light came on. We were approx 1/2 way between LA & home & my sister was on crutches awaiting hip replacement surgery. Getting off @ the next offramp we began searching for the closest service station &, fortunately found Haven 76. Pulling in I quickly explained our situation & was directed to a service bay where, once in the vehicle quietly died. After a series of test it appeared as if the alternator was good but that we had a short. The service manager explained that he could recharge our battery & it MIGHT get us home or we could leave the car over night & he could fix it first thing in the morning. He continued to explain that he was unable to work on it past 5pm (thier regular closing time because of a previously set family gathering. We chose to recharge the battery & waiting til 5pm. At 5pm, we paid them, said a prayer & backed out only to have the car immediately die! It was suggested that maybe the battery needed to be replaced because it (obviously) was no longer able to hold a charge. So we bought a new battery, had it installed & said our goodbyes, again! It was now 5:22pm. This time we made off the property before all the lights on the dashboard began to flicker on & off & I quickly returned to the service bay we had just left! It was now approx 5:45pm & it was just the service manager & us left. We couldn't believe that, not only was he committed to helping us, strangers who'd he would never see again, but he was missing a family gathering to do so & he was bright, helpful & committed to our safety & wellbeing! It was as if God has sent us an Angel who was not going to allow us to get onto that road if we weren't going to be safe! It is not an understatement to say he was amazing &, @ that moment PUT OUR NEEDS OVER HIS NEEDS, WANTS & FREE TIME! And because of his kindness & care we will NEVER forget him. We ended up having to leave the car there overnight & my nephew drove out from LA to drive us home. The next morning, just before 11am & true to his word, I recieved a call that my car was repaired & ready for pick up &, another sister left work & drove me back up to pick it up. There was much more to this story but, if you've read this far you already get it. If the manager of service @ Haven 76 would go so far above & beyond for a stranger who he'd (most likely) never see again nor service what would he do for a regular customer who lives in the area? I know this much, if I lived within 25 miles of Haven 76 they would be our mechanic! It is so rare to find honesty today but honesty combined with putting the customer 1st, Naw, forest about it! I want to thank the manager of Haven 76 for living that old idiom, Do unto others as you would have them do unto you!

I walked back inside to find out about the transfer Margarita did after I had initially left.. she explained she'd given me back $6.54 but wouldn't refund the $12.46 the man had used .. obviously that is a issue because nobody wants $6 out of $19 originally paid.. so I began to argue.. "if that's the case anybody could steal someone's gas by telling you to transfer it over & all I know about MY transaction is what's promised on the receipt & not anything said after I leave" Lorena argued that she had told me when she walked outside that the man was pumping my gas & that justified it to her .. Margarita asked if I'd give her the $6.54 so she'd refund the $19 onto my pump .. it didn't make sense for me to pay but it was apparent she didn't know what she was doing.. as I gave her $20.54 expecting change she handed me back the $20 instead of my change .. I through it on to the counter & told her "you still don't know how to do your damn job because you are messing up again & are probably going to blame me" a lady who was about to clock in expressed from behind me how if she was working she would of refused me service due to my attitude; I said "okay refuse me service then but I'm not leaving with out a corporate number" & they still weren't refusing me service . I asked for the number to corporate & their names .. when again the employee from behind me says "google it" I made it clear I wasn't googling anything & my issue would be addressed here & now.. so Margarita gave me a number (but it was wrong) & I took down the girls names but the one about to clock in said "why I'm not on the clock" which only confirmed she's a JOKE. Because you're at YOUR place of business talking like you're on the clock but hiding your name like you're not here representing in your business uniform. Serious lack of professionalism All in all I gave them back $6.54 for $12.46 & complained to 1 (800) 955-5100 BUT MY MAIN POINT : don't even bother coming here .. they are incompetent & a simple 5 minute errand will turn into a 10 minute ordeal because, anyone can claim your gas after you left & you're stuck with the bill.

It can get pretty busy in the mornings and the lot can get a little crazy when there's delivery trucks there as well. I've had several issues with "sticky" pumps where the latches don't stay locked, or shut off prematurely. But overall, this place is kept up pretty well and is clean. Occasionally I'll drive around to a pump and see it out of order. It would be more helpful if there was a cone placed in front of it or something. Once in a while I'll get a card reader error, telling me to go see the cashier. Honestly, that just means I'm going to drive over to a different pump instead LOL! The store is well stocked with lots of goodies and the staff is friendly and helpful. Haven't tried the newest Mexican restaurant to open here, but it honestly looks decent as well. Also just joined the Shell Fuel Rewards program and currently enjoying $0.50 off per gallon!
