Always. Snacks: Great selection Pets: There is a grassy lot on one side near the diesel pumps. Nice quiet place for a dog to do their thing. Car Wash: This is where I may go nuts. I used it for the first time just this week and this is the BEST CAR WAS EVERRRRRRRRR!!!! I think I bought the premium wash, which was like $8. It's a touch free wash and I expected it to be like any car wash but it was not. As I'm sitting there watching the dog get nervous I wondered at the sign that said something about "tri-colored foam." Huh?? And then it began...PINK, BLUE, YELLOW! Swirls and swirls of this colored foam blanketing my car. What fun! But really all that matters is the result... I've truly never received a better wash from an automated car wash. My car looked like it came out of a detail shop.

The produce they have might be limited but it's always top-notch! Liquor aisle is very good as are the baked goods they carry. We love Charlie's and will always tank up our car and boat there as well. Supporting local small business is the way to go!

It all started when the three year old child of my friends asked me about the "Chuck Store" Moi: "What is a 'Truck Store'?" Kid: "CHUCK, it is the bestest store ever in the whole world with candy!" Moi: "Do they have a toothbrush? He forgot to pack a toothbrush..." Kid: "Duh. They have EVERYTHING, and candy too." Indeed. Naturally, I had to see this marvel. And the kid tells no lies- this is part gas station, part old-timey general store, part hardware store, gardening center, liquor store, candy emporium and drugstore- that is a whole lotta hats, but the lady working the counter was clearly a pro able to direct me to candy and toothbrushes with ease. For the kid, a combo of monster truck toy car and lolly pop that took two days of effort to eat ($1.29, pictured with all it's awesome glory). That car is miraculously still intact. Have you played with a three year old? I'm surprised I am intact, kid is relentless and makes my hyperactive energy look tame. Awesome. For me to keep up, a Starbucks double shot chugged at light-speed and the priceless shot of Lady Monkeybutt- which I cannot believe is a real product and had me laughing hysterically as much as the three year old. Maybe more. I didn't know places like this existed anymore, but am glad they do.

I think it was already closed by 10pm when I stopped in for a snack last weekend. 2. Doesn't screen employees to determine if they know simple math. Ex. Starbucks double shot coffee was $2.79. Or 2 for $5.00. When I set the two coffees on the counter, plus a 1.00 bottled water, the adorably cute cashier rang them up, the total was $6.58. I informed her that they were 2 for $5. Rather than simply walk to the cooler she asked the other worker, I believe he must've been shift Mgr. He was unaware. But the two of them hmm' and hawed for a bit, and she was at a loss. He returned to his counting machine to help another customer. She pulled out a pen and paper, and bravely attempted to recall what she was taught in 3rd grade, but instead resorted to her phone. Two new impatient customers behind me were at least polite, but I'm certain they wanted to just pay and GTFO of the store. Again I informed her that the sign, actually visible from this spot. Stated 2.79 Fast forward to a few minutes later, I handed her $6 and 3 quarters, and said have a nice day, and she shouldn't bother following up on her application as a bank teller.
