Each morning on my way into or out of work I can stop in and grab a hot fresh sandwich with the addition of a Hot Karuba Coffee. The service at this location is wonderful, they go out of their way to make sure your the focus with the "hello" and "good morning" to all who come in. One time I noticed they were out of a particular "hot" item and they went back into their kitchen and heated up what I was looking for. It was very kind , and it's service like that, that keeps me coming back as a loyal customer. This location is not only full of friendly staff and hot fresh food and coffee, but also is one of the cleanest gas stations around. With the amount of foot traffic it produces all year long puns it truly is amazing they keep this establishment so clean. I went inside to get some coffee, and the woman at the counter was so sweet! I ran back out to the car, and as we were pulling away, our power steering failed! We tried to drive around the parking lot a bit, but it soon became clear that it wouldn't be safe to drive 5+ hours back to southern Wisconsin. My friend called her mechanic dad to get some input, and he decided to drive out to us to take a look and save us from being stranded at a Minnesotan gas station. This was at approx 9:30am. My friends and I, 4 of us total, spent the next several hours sitting in our car, running inside to buy snacks/use the restrooms, etc. The clerk came out to check on us, and we explained our situation. Everyone working there was so kind, and the gas station itself was actually the best possible place for us to hangout while waiting for our rescue. They had a huge selection of snacks, candy, and even games and toys! I bought UNO, and we got some subway sandwiches and played UNO for a few hours in one of the sit down booths at the subway inside of the gas station. The bathrooms were extremely clean, and so was the rest of the place. Our rescue arrived around 3pm, and after one more bathroom break and a few more cups of coffee, we were off. 10/10 would break down and be stranded here again. Thank you Speedway! PS: we bought this Captain America stress toy here. He really helped to ease our stress. A+ toy selection.

When she made it home she told me about it. I went to the store to discuss this with them. They were less than receptive when I asked about it. He got into a potty mouth calling me a cunt, fat bitch, ugly among others. After which I called 911, which made me feel safer. I stayed in my car and while I waited. After 2 Hermantown Squads came I was able to feel at ease and safe. I told them what had happened. I was then able to leave while they were talking to the owners. I give these people a big zero on character.

My preferred gas station for so many reasons.
