On one of the rare times when there was an attendant on duty, I complained about the quality of the wash but to no avail. He gave me blank stare and said there was nothing he could do. Anyway, that was the last time I used the Badger Wash in Waunakee. For a couple bucks more, I can go into Madison and get a great wash and my car's interior vacuumed at the Octopus Carwash on East Washington.

You get an individually packed wet wipe to clean off your dashboard while you are moved through the water and soap of the wash. However, the best part of this wash is afterwards you drive and park into the line of high powered vacuums. They have garbage cans so you can dispose of whatever collection you collect while traveling. And then you can vacuum your seats, floorboards and in my case the supply of dog fur thanks to my furry bestie and the crumbs that stuck in my booster seats even when my kids aren't eating in the van. And that stray Cheerio won't clog your home vacuum cleaner. So next time you need gas fill up at the station and go wash your car. Unless you're claustrophobic. Then have someone else ride it through for you.

I still haven't found one better than the new PDQ on East Washington. It's a pretty convenient location but I just wish it was on the corner where the roundabout is. It can become a mess! One of the automatic bays has been closed for a long time as well. I think it's just a tired car wash with management that just doesn't care any more. Try somewhere else.
