Dr Buckley is one of the worst urologist in Canada ,I don't recommend him to anyone ,based on…read morethe very bad experience that we had with him.He was seeing my husband for 13 years ,the reason for my husband's first visit was because he had hematuria,Dr Buckley diagnosed him at that time with benign enlarged prostate,he started treating him with Avodart since 2002,the gross heavy haematuria continued to happen during the years,my husband was smoker and smoking is a common risk factor for causing bladder cancer, Bladder cancer is 2-6 times more common in smokers than in non-smokers. Most bladder cancers occur in people over the age of 50 and above,Bladder cancer is about three times more common in men than in women ,Bladder cancer most commonly presents with symptoms of hematuria (blood in the urine), either visible or microscopic . It may also cause irritative lower urinary tract symptoms including urgency, frequency, discomfort with urinating, and incontinence.Despite all these symptoms Dr. Buckley kept his focus on the prostate,the PSA count kept increasing over the years and the prostate doubled it's size,still he did not do anything.Last year my husband's health started to deteriorate ,he visited his family doctor on the month of May because he had a heavy gross hematuria ,the MD started treating him with antibiotics thinking of urine tract infection, two months after things started to go worse he was seen by Dr. Buckley,first time he did cystoscopy without biopsy and he couldn't see any thing,after one week he did another cystoscopy / biopsy with full anesthesia,and after my husband was done with the procedure he comes to tell us that the case is bladder cancer stage IV which already metastasized out to the lymph nodes. I am sharing this story with other patients so they maybe become aware and never put their trust in one person,always seek second opinion,the fact that he was the head of the urology department made us trust him 100%.Last November my husband passed away after four months difficult battle with bladder cancer. If an architect makes a mistake, he grows ivy to cover it. If a doctor makes a mistake, he covers it with soil. If a cook makes a mistake, he covers it with some sauce and says it is a new recipe.

Her first line of treatment was no longer effective and so we were…read morereferred to Dr. Vivianne Glenns at North York General Hospital to see if she'd qualify for a research trial for a third generation cancer drug. We were told, it'd take several weeks to do the tests and biopsies to determine whether she had the mutation for the medication. During these weeks, she was hopeful, but also experiencing incredibly pain from the cancer. We were told that we'd be contacted and notified on Oct. 28th. So we waited patiently, but they didn't call us that day. When I finally contacted them, the staff on phone said she KNEW the results, but could NOT tell us! She said we had to booked an appointment to see Dr. Glenns just to get a yes or no on whether my mom's last hope for a treatment was a possibility. They were not able to book us in until a FULL WEEK later for an appointment that would take a minute! Dr. Glenns herself also would not speak to my mom over the phone, even if it were a short phone call that could change a patient's outcome. Time was crucial for my mom because she was experiencing pain on a daily basis and the cancer would continue to progress without treatment. The oncologists wouldn't explore other potential options of treatment until this one was checked. One week went by and turns out she was not a candidate for the medication. A week of hope and pain. Dr Glenns and her staff need to prioritize her patients and appointments better.

When I met him he was semi-professional (did as little as possible to pass the criteria). Huge ego! Must be doing something right, he let me have a next appointment and result, six months later. When I said he wasn't there when I needed him they didn't admit to anything. I've had maybe 15 to 20 doctors in my life and couldn't recommend anyone less. I recommend this Dr. and Office to all new parents, there is no better place to bring your child. They only attend to children. The parking at this location is free but can be challenging at times, so give yourself some extra time to wait for a spot. Very quick turnover time on parking spots.

Rushed me out without explaining what he was prescribing me with!…read more I was told I would be talking to a different doctor about TWO things, but the other doctor was busy so I had to speak to this guy, and he told me about one of them. Never asked me if I had questions. He would dismiss me, and I had to tell him THREE TIMES, that I was left a message on my voicemail saying we should discuss two disorders. He then said: "well I can prescribe you medication." I don't even know why he prescribed me medication, he never explained what it does. Worst Doctor I have ever had the misfortune to see. I will be reporting this to my family doctor who recommended the sleep clinic, and the sleep clinic itself will get a complaint.
