I'm trying to understand why my experience is so different from these 5 star reviews…read more. I contacted them about an ant infestation inside my home. The technician who came out placed sugar bait inside to eliminate the colony. He told me that an exterior treatment was not necessary at that time. I accepted that recommendation, due to potential exposure for my active dog. Months later, I called to follow up because the ant problem had not been resolved. I was then told the $216.50 treatment of simply adding sugar bait for the interior also included exterior treatment during the original visit. That was surprising because I was never told an exterior treatment had been done. When I asked where it had been applied, they did not give me a clear answer regarding the exterior. I have also come to find out that we had acrobat ants (not carpenter ants) as I expected when talking to a few other pest control companies. Paying for another treatment isn't the issue. If the ants require another visit, I'm happy to pay for it. My concern is that the explanation of what was actually done has changed. Now, they're saying I have to pay another $216 for their services again. Something just isn't adding up. If there's a reasonable explanation, I'd like to hear it. Based on the conflicting information, I have little confidence in their service.

I asked for a quote via Yelp on a Sunday but did not expect to get a response until Monday. To my surprise the owner, Sarah reached out almost immediately and answered my questions and sent a quote. I was honestly shocked at how easy it was to get the information I needed and the appointment set up for just a day after we got the keys to our home that week. Fast forward to the appointment. Last Thursday, Ray showed up for the service appointment. He was friendly, respectful and very knowledgeable. He helped deal with a wasp situation on the front porch. Made suggestions to help proactively keep pests out and worked quickly but efficiently inside and outside the house. He even checked that I was aware the eco friendly inside spray had a slight odor and wanted to make sure I could tolerate it before he sprayed it throughout the house. The whole experience from scheduling, invoicing, and completion of the service appointment was incredibly smooth and the people of EcoPro Services were a pleasure to communicate with. Highly recommend!

The owner Sarah (an entomologist -- bonus) called me in a few minutes. She said they don't do drill+inject Fipronil, but she reviewed my exclusion plus bait station plan and made several helpful suggestions. It was a 20-minute call and she knew from the beginning that this would not be a paying job for them since the one thing I can't do myself without a pest control license is something they don't do themselves, but she was generous with her time anyway. At the end I offered to pay $50 for the consult but she said it wasn't necessary. I will certainly call them if I'm unable to locate the entry point of rats into my rental house.
