    For about two years, I have felt stuck at the highest weight of my life. I've been working with Kylie since February and have lost around 30lbs! The work she has done with me has been transformational for my health, energy, and confidence. I am loving my body more than ever, and I feel like I'm developing an entirely new relationship to and perspective on food and nourishment. I actually feel more satiated day-to-day than I have in a while, and I am learning tools to maintain a healthy lifestyle long after I reach my ultimate weight loss goals. The best part is, Kylie has helped me to feel so confident that my goals are achievable and within my reach. At this point, I have zero fear of any bounce back or yo-yoing, because I know what decisions to make to keep on-plan. Kylie is kind, flexible, thoughtful, and supportive. It has been an absolute joy to learn from her. Also, the restaurant menu and grocery store recommendations have been revolutionary for me!

    This review is LONG overdue (and also long in length...), but I had been putting it off only because I wanted to write the best review I could write, and I knew I wanted to take my time with it.  I had my initial consultation with Kylie at the end of June 2019. Once I had my first body comp (a really comprehensive summary of your BMI, muscle mass, body fat mass, segmental fat analysis etc), did a week or two of food logs on MyFitnessPal and squared away my goals with Kylie, I embarked on my weight loss journey in July 2019.  I wanted to lose 25lbs, which, when I was starting out, seemed impossible and unachievable especially because I had tried a million "diets" and work out plans on my own to no avail prior to seeing Kylie. I was getting sick of my terrible eating habits and had just recovered a weird "sickness" where I was getting hives everyday and getting my period every 2 weeks. I knew my body was asking me to take better care of it and that's when I knew I had to see someone.  Long story short, I started on Kylie's plan in July 2019, and she got me to my goal weight by the beginning of December 2019 (I had lost the bulk of my goal weight in 3 months, even with 2 travel trips - AMAZING, new me who dis) - which is a testament to what an incredible support, resource and accountability teacher Kylie is.  Kylie equips you with tools that you can (and will want to) keep in your daily routine even after you hit your goal weight. There are things on her grocery list that are now staples in my pantry, that even my husband loves! And he usually couldn't care for "health foods" - maybe because he also thinks of health foods as just tofu. Ha! As I'm writing this, I realize I don't even know how to adequately put into words what a great experience I had working with Kylie. I understood my body, eating habits, food, my cravings so much better. Not to mention, it feels SO DANG good to finally have achieved a goal I have been trying to achieve for, no joke, 7 years. A part of me wishes I could be the person that could have done it by myself, but at the same time, Kylie provided me with so many resources and so much invaluable knowledge that I don't regret investing in time with her.  Of course, bearing in mind that you have to put in the work yourself. Kylie can't work out and eat well FOR you. It's still hard work, but the nice thing about seeing Kylie is that you have someone to hold you accountable and provide a ton of valuable resources - and even if you "fall off the wagon", she's never judgmental, and is so encouraging!  I wish I had better comparison pictures, or even thought to take a proper Before photos. To be honest, a part of me probably didn't even think I would be able to lose the weight so I didn't think documenting it would be necessary - so, again, Kylie is amazing!!! How she managed to encourage and motivate me, I don't even know! Some of the biggest changes in my life post-Kylie: reclaiming old clothes that I could no longer fit into (it's like shopping without having to spend money!), huge increase in self confidence (knowing that I was kicking ass and inching towards a goal), which helped with my career, being less of a hermit (I used to say no to or dread social events because of how I felt), better lifestyle/habits, not losing sleep over guilt or not lying in bed regretting all the things i ate and currently giving me a stomach ache etc. etc.  If you're looking for someone to help you on your health journey. Kylie IS THE ONE. Even though I've reached my goal and am on maintenance, I know I'll be back to see her again at some point whenever I need more help.     I've always been into fitness, but have continuously struggled with food to see any weight loss success. Why do I lose 8 lbs in a month with one diet and then as soon as I let up a little, I gain even more back? Why do I get headaches when I cut calories? Why does my stomach hurt if I increase my protein intake? I felt like I didn't know what I was doing and would get frustrated and give up. Kylie took the time to actually TEACH me. I never got headaches even though I was cutting calories; I never got stomach aches even though I increased my protein. I learned how to balance my plate and add fiber into every meal, and what a difference that made! I love desserts and Kylie helped show me that I can integrate them into my day without sabotaging my new healthy lifestyle. Kylie gave me all the tools I needed to understand my body and lose weight, but also keep it off. She is so friendly and is a positive voice during a process that is definitely a struggle at times. I was a work in progress; I took 6 months to maintain my weight when I hit a wall after losing 17lbs. Once I felt like I could kick it up a notch and add more cardio and cut more calories, I was able to lose the other 8 lbs to reach my goal of losing 25 lbs. I not only felt healthier, but I started gaining and seeing muscle. I had done CrossFit for 2 years prior to working with Kylie, and pretty much looked and felt the same for those 2 years. When working with Kylie, all of a sudden I could see my abs and arm muscles! I'm able to hike without getting winded and know how to order at restaurants in a smart way. I hit my goal weight for my wedding day, and can't wait to continue my healthy lifestyle going forward.

She has had a lot of personal experiences with diets, health, and general well-being, and has a healthy attitude in questioning established norms that actually do not help, but hinder optimal health. By adhering to the good habits she taught me, I've found it easy to keep my weight low & my fitness high. And as she claims, there is no sense of deprivation or being on a permanent diet. It would sound like an overblown cliché for an Angeleno to say that a nutritionist's advice was "life-changing". But I can't think of a more appropriate word -- and going in, I was a skeptic. Better eating habits and fitness have improved every part of my life: I sleep better. I'm more productive at work. I'm nicer to children and animals. And I still get to eat nachos and beer.

I was never at peace with the way I was eating and always found my mind thinking about food or feeling bad it. Such an unhealthy relationship with food Working with Miriam was so much more than just losing weight. I laughed, cried and opened up about so many feelings associated with food. She speaks and encourages with no judgement, which was one of my concerns coming into this process. She helped me get to the root of my cravings/night binge eating and I felt comfortable talking to her about the emotions associated with that. I had tried so many diets and worked out way too much (whole 30, paleo, trained for multiple marathons), I didn't understand why I couldn't get over my binge eating and lose weight. Her support and insight helped me understand deeper issues that subconsciously underline the way I ate. Miriam helped me realize it was a fear I had of failing, among other things, that was holding me back from enjoying food and life. Its difficult to face those feelings alone, but Miriam is a great support system. After two months of working with her, my relationship with food has improved drastically as well as my confidence and happiness level. It's a great feeling waking up in the morning and just be happy. This was not a goal intentionally had when I started but my meetings with Miriam helped me realize what's important. It's about how I feel and understanding why I am eating what I'm eating. Going through that realization and asking myself those "why" questions is tough and is something I will have to continue doing but has allowed me to eliminate my binge eating. And losing 13 pounds makes me happy too! I definitely recommend Miriam to everyone not just for the weight loss but because coming out of this I know myself so much more than I did before.

I only kept going to her because first visits with new doctors are so expensive and I was lazy. Fast forward this year she dropped me a few days before my appointment because I didn't want to sign up for the $300 monthly membership. I was her client for 7 years. I felt very discarded and no patient care. She did me the best favor though because there are numerous telehealth doctors now doing bio identical hormones that is substantially cheaper than her sub par expensive care. If you want to pay tooth and nail for so so care then visit Dr Taylor. And expect a new receptionist at least once a year

I had two significant problems while under her care but each time, I had to call multiple times before I received any feedback from her. If I brought up any issue during an appointment, her only suggestion was for me to have the pellets inserted more frequently or to purchase another supplement from her. At my last appointment in September of 2025, I was told that she will begin charging $400 every month for her services, and justifying it by saying it will allow her to provide better patient care. A dedicated doctor would not need to charge a $400 monthly concierge fee to provide excellent patient care. When I first saw her, she was working three days a week; now she's only working two. She is not dedicated to her patients; she is dedicated to making money. There is a card on the desk where patients check out that advertises 10% off her services if you give her a five star review on Yelp. That tells you everything you need to know about her.

She even helped my baby out of jaundice with a feeding schedule that worked. She also helped my baby gain her birth weight back by day 9 !
