    Alina is the absolute BEST there is! Truly cannot recommend her and her services highly enough! I have worked with other fitness coaches and trainers in the past and have never seen the kind of results I'm seeing with Alina. We've been working together for the past 7 months now and between the custom fitness & nutrition program she designed for me, as well as our in-person training sessions, I can honestly say I'm in the best shape I've been in since my early 20's. More importantly, I feel I've made genuinely sustainable, healthy lifestyle changes. And as a nice added bonus, I truly look forward to our in-person sessions every week because Alina is just an all-around lovely human and a joy to be around. Do yourself a favor and hire her for your fitness and nutrition needs! You won't be disappointed :-)

    Eating healthy!!!!

    I started training with Alina approximately 5 months ago, and WOW, I am already seeing very positive changes in my level of strength and fitness, my body shape and the way my clothes fit. (My husband notices as well!). Alina is very well-educated in fitness and nutrition, and tailors each workout to my specific needs. No cookie cutter workouts here...I never know what she has planned for me! Every workout is challenging, but she has a way of encouraging you through it. I leave every workout feeling as if I won! If you want a trainer who truly cares about making a difference for you, look no farther than Alina. She is the best! I would give her 10 stars if I could!

    After a final desperate attempt at a fad diet that clearly wasn't working, I found Alina who in a short few months has helped me not only fix my poor eating habits but also has been educating me on how to eat properly to I can sustain it on my own! I really love Alina's approach to nutrition as it's based on foods you like and how to utilize attainable foods to meet your nutrition goals (as opposed to relying on a ton of supplements) she is very open to your preferences and is super responsive to questions and updates. I'm already seeing more results than I have in the prior six months of starve dieting and I feel better than I have in ages! I highly recommend Alina for anyone who has been struggling with their eating habits and want a healthy lifestyle while feeling great at the same time!

    Great variety of meals in the plan

    I've been training with Alina for four months. She's an outstanding coach and nutritionist. In terms of training, she has deep knowledge in different modes of training (strength, building, all-around) and different techniques (heavy, time under tension, cycles, etc.) and she really listens in terms of any specific needs or goals I have. She is the most knowledgeable in terms of nutrition of any trainer I've worked with and she truly changed my approach to food. I did not believe her that I could triple my carb intake and keep my belly flat while growing muscle and she showed me how to do it. It works! Alina's tools are fantastic too. She got me to use 1 app for food tracking, 1 app for training instruction/tracking utilizing great videos made by her and her husband (both are accomplished body builders) and using Fitbit to track my steps. I also do a weekly check-in that includes progress photos. Keeping it all tracked scientifically has been helpful to me in planning and mentally. It's a lot of work and progress is slow (I'm 52 years old) but I see the trend and believe that if I stick with Alina's guidance I'll continue getting to a place where in my mid-50's I'll be in the best shape I've even been.

    When I searched for " Trainers for women over 50 near me", Alina's name popped up. I'm so glad that I reached out to her. I have been working with Alina for a few months now and I can't recommend her enough. She has the right amount of compassion, patience, and motivation to keep me going and hold me accountable. Her prices are reasonable and you get what you pay for. If you're on the fence about working with her, DO IT!!

    Food

    I have been working with Alina for about 3 months now, and am extremely satisfied with my decision to begin her 16 week program. Easily one of the best decisions ive made this year. I am someone who has been lifting 5 days a week consistently for years now, but just never had the extra knowledge to really see the effort i was putting in reflected in my physique. I have seen my body transform more In the 12 weeks I have been working with her, than it had in the last year of doing it all on my own. Im so excited with the results that I am already committing to continuing working with her even after the initial 16 week program ends. Within the first few days, i learned that i was severely under eating for my goals. A mind blowing thought that i was hesitant to trust at first. And within months I've learned when to tell if your body is ready to up macros, around how many macros/calories i should shoot for in a day, and even pin pointed specific food sensitivies that i never had the idea of concluding before. In addition to nutrition, I've learned so much in the gym. Thanks to a constantly evolving training program, ive been able to learn, practice, and improve on forms of numerous lifts i had either not tried before or could never figure out previously. I even had the pleasure of learning how atrocious my form was before this program, and how tempo of reps was much more important than i had ever thought before. As im sure you can tell, i am extremely satisfied with the investment in myself that is beginning a personal training journey with Lean Training & Nutrition. Ive learned so much in the last 12 weeks and feel confident that even after these 16 weeks i could continue to do the work on my own and see results because of how much i have learned. However, i intend to keep on training with Alina because it is extremely worth it!

    I was looking for someone who could help me with my eating habits and modify my caloric intake for me based on my progress. I work out often but my nutrition was in need of help. That as well as getting older, what I used to do, wasn't working anymore. I am currently working with Alina and its so interesting because I thought I my food intake would reduce however, Im eating more, and in the right proportions. She has also taught me that my overall health isn't just about working out, its about the mental aspect, stress and types of foods that im consuming. They all play a factor. She is very responsive and Im thankful that I found her on yelp. I also love that her outlook is more about balance and consistency and that its ok to enjoy some yummy foods that aren't so great for you, as long as they fit within your macros. Im really enjoying working with Alina!

    I've been training with Alina for about 3 months and working through a health issue during that time. Alina has me working hard and earning every drop of sweat. She is very knowledgeable on the body, its mechanics, the power of food and how to build strength and cardio endurance through exercise and healthy eating habits. I don't know how many pounds I've lost as I'm scale-averted but I had to purchase some smaller clothes so I'm on the right path. HIGHLY RECOMMEND her to any one looking to lose weight or maintain.

    20 pounds down and making lei's in Hawaii

    I found Alina through her fabulous Yelp reviews after being diagnosed as pre diabetic last summer. My doctor recommended I try a personal trainer, and while I have had experience in the past with personal training, I have to say that training with Alina has been a whole new experience. I highly recommend her as a trainer! If you are even a little bit on the fence about whether you would enjoy having a personal trainer then I would suggest you give her a try, because you may find yourself amazed at the difference even two sessions a week can make in your overall health and wellness. Alina runs the one on one portion of her training out of her well equipped home gym, which for me, makes it much more comfortable than going to a membership gym where you have the added distraction of comparing yourself to other people or feeling inadequate in your knowledge of how the various machines work. Alina brings a great amount of knowledge of how the body works and responds to training as well nutritional support and the mental wellbeing to help you make yourself a healthier person. She keeps her workouts fresh and engaging so that you never get bored. She's a very kind and caring person who is genuinely concerned with helping you to become a better version of yourself, whatever that may mean for you. Alina doesn't push her own agenda but instead creates a program custom tailored to you and your current level of fitness. As you grow in strength, confidence and ability she increases the difficulty of your workouts enough to keep you challenged while still leaving you with the ability to get through each session safely and successfully. After just 4 months of working with Alina twice a week, along with her recommended dietary guidelines and suggestions, I have lost 25 pounds and gained an amazing amount of stamina and strength! My doctor was highly impressed with my weight loss. My blood sugar levels were back in the normal range and my cholesterol numbers stabilized enough so that I didn't require medication. Oftentimes half the battle of consistently working out is making sure that you are doing something that you enjoy. With Alina I feel like I can be myself and that allows me to embrace my workouts instead of dreading them.

    Alina was such a pleasure to work with. She was always very attentive and supportive as I navigated a new nutrition journey. She taught me so much about the many factors that impact how I feel on any given day. I now have a much better understanding of how to fuel my body not just for workouts but for life. thanks so so much!

    Training with Alina has been such a great experience. I had put on about 12 extra pounds during the pandemic, and when I got engaged in May I knew it was time to find a new program so I could be looking and feeling my best for my wedding in June 2024. I wanted to lose that pandemic weight, plus more that I had been hitting a wall with anyway prior to lockdown. But I wanted to do it slowly so I wouldn't crash diet and gain it all back. Having a history of athletics, injuries, and nutrition tracking, it was pretty natural to fall into Alina's nutrition + exercise program. Her workouts are no joke though! You definitely have to focus on form, and she's great with answering any questions or swapping out exercises that trigger any pain. All can be done from home without a gym membership - just some resistance bands and dumb bells. I supplement her workout days with pilates as my body does well with that combination. Nutrition was where I needed some guidance as my prior macros were either leaving me hungry, or weren't giving me consistent results. She's super knowledgeable and helps you find your sweet spot to where you don't feel starved, but see results. We regulary discuss hormones, menstrual cycle, digestion, sleep, water, steps, and other non food or exercise program factors to make sure they aren't hindering any progress. I'm down 16 pounds in 6 months - which doesn't sound like a lot, but for a woman who wants to keep a good amount of muscle on her body and really create a lifestyle change - it feels great! I've already transitioned from both nutrition and workouts to just her workout program, and I'm looking forward to continuing with Alina in the new year.

I came here 3 months ago with severe plantar fasciitis and 15 years of treatment resistant rotator cuff pain, and their PT and strength training has me pain free and stronger than I've been in years. The physical therapists and trainers are like wizards who find the root cause of your pain and provide exceptional treatments through extended PT, massage therapy and strength training. I signed up with their personal trainer Brian to sustain my recovery and continue building strength. His knowledge and approach is exceptional.
