One word: WOW. This might actually be Atlanta's best seafood. I hadn't been to Kyma in many, many years--not for any reason other than it just doesn't come to mind (hello, marketing opportunity). But I've eaten here at least a dozen times over the last 10 years and always had a fantastic experience. This latest one? Truly next-level... and I happened to have dined a St Cecilia two days prior, very well known for best seafood, but I felt Kyma quality ran circles around it Space: Don't judge Kyma by its dated exterior or slightly tacky Greek décor--the food is some of the absolute best in Atlanta. Honestly, if the restaurant group invested in a fresh exterior sign and a little paint, I'd bet the return in increased traffic would pay for itself many times over. Valet: $3--don't forget to bring cash for a tip. Food: * The guys did the tasting menu for two ($160pp)--well worth the price point and every single dish was spectacular. Standouts: Veal Sweetbreads, dorade "tsipoura", & lobster wedding rice. I also loved the calamari ribbons * The girls ordered a spread of apps, and honestly, every bite was 10/10. (*favorites) * *Ceviche, Scallops, Octopus * Crab Cake, Eggplant, Watermelon Salad, Brussels Only complaint: dish pacing. We were there for about 4 hours, and the gaps between tasting menu courses were a bit too long. Would love to see the kitchen tighten up the cadence and for servers to check in if delays are expected.

Fantastic dinner at the Buckhead Life flagship restaurant Kyma. 4 course amazing dinner with Excellent service. Ask for Delaney when you visit. Try the Mediterranean Sea bass, lobster mussels, and Greek donuts for dessert. You'll love the variety of menu possibilities. Great cocktails and wines along with seasonal specials.

It's been way too long since we last visited! We usually love exploring new spots in the area, but this reminder of why we love this place was much needed. The food and service were absolutely amazing, and we scored a perfect little table on the patio. Huge shoutout to our bartender who went above and beyond--she walked us through a flight of Greek wines and every single one was a hit! We definitely won't wait this long to come back.

This was my first time here. We celebrated a friend's birthday, and this restaurant, the service.... blew me away. Everything was amazing. From the complimentary drink, to multiple staff coming to the table to clear plates, bring more food, knowing exactly what's on the menu and being able to describe it well, clean bathrooms, gorgeous decor, great food...I could go on and on! 10/10!

Everything was amazing from the experience to the ambiance to the service. The lambchop was the best I've ever had. We went with the chef recommendations and it was all so good.

Absolutely amazing! One of the best dining experiences that I've had for both food and service. I brought my husband here for his birthday and everything was perfect. Our server, Patrick, was awesome and very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The ambiance was nice and we were seated in the most perfect booth with a great view of the dining room. We tried a few different menu items and everything was superb. We ordered the octopus and lobster! We mentioned the sea bass ceviche and Patrick brought us some for a tasting...omg chef's kiss. You can't go wrong with any of these appetizers. For entrees, my husband ordered the whole fish (think it was pink snapper or something like that) and it was very good. The fish was mild and buttery. I had the lamb chops and they were seasoned very well although slightly overcooked for my liking. We had some really nice wines as well, don't remember the names of them but my martini was tasty! It's called the Morpheus. Highly recommend! It has gin, st.Germain, hibiscus, and lavender! I cannot wait to return to Kyma.

One of the best restaurants I've been to in Atlanta. I can't believe it took me so long to try it. My friend and I had just gotten back into town so we were coming straight from the airport, looking for somewhere to eat. We had a taste for Mediterranean food and found Kyma via Yelp. We arrived with no reservation and were accommodated without a problem. We sat on the patio, which is beautiful. The service was excellent. I started with the pork ribs, a very hearty appetizer. The ribs were delicious, dry rub and the meat fell off of the bone. We each had snapper, I had it filleted and my friend had the whole fish. Both were delicious. Throughout the evening we had wine which we enjoyed. I finished the evening with a delicious dessert trio. Again: an overall excellent experience, no complaints!

While I think Kyma is a good restaurant, I'm not as thrilled as I was before. Rather than order the "Aegean" prix fixe as we always have, if we return, we're better off going a la carte. Kyma's appetizers are wonderful. The prix fixe used to include four off the menu. Now it's down to two, and the portion for the three of us was skimpy -- likely the same as they'd serve two people. Aside from quantity, the lamb pie, pork ribs and calamari (which we ordered separately) are winners. To make up for the missing appetizers, they've added a Greek salad which was overloaded with tomatoes. (My preference would be to raise prices rather than impose cost-cutting measures.) To our surprise, the fish portion of our meal was huge. I posted a photo of the char (salmon) we got.... but there was another piece that I didn't photograph. Plenty for five people. (Couldn't they have done that with the appetizers?!) Dessert -- not included on the prix fixe -- was okay. The loukoumades (Greek donuts) not nearly as good as what we get in Astoria. Service is a little too quick, like they want to feed you and get you out. So I don't know -- there's good, there's bad. If you live locally, see what you think.

This was a great first time experience! We had a warm welcome by the hostess she could tell right away we weren't from Atlanta. She took her time to explain the menu and the decor of the restaurant. This was the perfect date night spot. The food tasted delicious We ordered the octopus, Greek Salad, branzino and a few other items that I cannot remember since I'm writing this review a few months after my visit( don't judge me). I would come back for the food not the drinks I don't think they have a good bartender on their staff. Overall this was a great dining experience.

It's in a shopping center so there are plenty of parking, but you may not be able to park close to where you want to walk to the door to because there are so many other spots there. But the parking is free in Buckhead. So that's a plus! There's spaces inside and outside for you to go to, so that's good, but the inside is very nice and decorated very well. They have TV so you can watch sports but it's not a sports bar so don't get that confused. The bar is a nice size and set it pretty well. Not billions of bottles but just enough to what you need. Dean was my my server and bartender, super good customer service, very warm and communicative, and I would have come back just to sit at the bar with him again. The ball is very well kept and very clean, but the whole establishment was as well. They have a lot of space by the bar and to the other side of the restaurant as well. The menu is predominantly seafood related but they have other things as well. But they have a couple things that look like. They should be really really good so I am going to have to double back! Calamari - The calamari was pretty good. It came out really fast so it makes me think that they were already cooking by the time I ordered LOL. But it had a sweet chili sauce to it, but the calamari seem to be crispy and seasoned enough to where it wasn't a requirement. Brussel sprouts - brussel sprouts for good, kind of wish they had more of them but they were still pretty tasty. Overall. They had the vinaigrette flavor so I know that they were cooked well. They were more firmed and mushy so that was good. I would get them again and I was see. Can I get a full order instead of just a side order because they were just that good. Old bay fries - The Old Bay fries were okay. They had that sodium to where you needed ketchup to kind of bring the sweet. But they were still good though regardless. Shrimp tacos - these were good. Had 3 large shrimp. Got mine blackened and they were just the right amount of taste and flavor. The sauce on it was a little much but that was okay though, it balanced out all of the spice for the peppers and the shrimp seasoning. Gumbo - the gumbo was pretty good and it came in a large bowl, more than you would think a cup would be. Savory and tasty. Overall, with the quality of the food and the customer service, I feel like this place definitely deserves my attention again. The first time I went in I only had a couple of appetizers, and that really didn't do it justice.

We enjoyed the Fried Calamari app. My bride ordered Fish & Chips and I ordered the Lobster Roll. All the food was excellent. Great fries, really great Cole Slaw. Drinks and food arrived promptly and everything was at the proper temperature. Every staff person we met was cheerful and helpful with Deenie our server best in class. This was my second-ever Lobster Roll and it was the second-best after a Cousins Food Truck. The B's portion seem significantly smaller and, at $35, more expensive. The location is Self-Serve, so you can order at a Kiosk or over the Phone. Once the order is ready, they place it in these ready lockers, similar to what you see at Inspire Brand or food hub pickup spots. You enter a code or click a link and it releases the lock on the pickup to take your order. Very cool, very fun. The location has a few tables to eat at, but I get the feeling the location is not really intended to be an earin space and more of a "Order to go". However, lots of space and you could easily bring a crowd here if that's your thing. The food I ordered was actually a winner in my book. For this order, I ordered the Crawfish Cheesey Pasta or whatever, the second part of my order was their $10 for 10 wing deal. I want to start with the wings. I don't know if you guys have had much luck ordering wings lately but the cost at most locations for seasons wings has been attrocious. $10 for 10 is a phenominal deal in regard to wings at this moment. On top of that, the wings I got were average size, but well over the size of some of these locations selling wings for almost $2 a peice. There is a good bit of options for the wings, I got the plane and lemon peper hot and I was very happy with that decision. The bluecheese was a good pair with this. Awesome job for wings in my opinion. The Crawfish Pasta was pretty great too. A good portion of meat included. Obviously pre-picked crawfish, but I really can't complane since we're in Atlanta and not Louisiana. The pasta was aldenta and not overcooked, huge win on this. That means it wasn't really sitting in place for too long and made fresh. The pepper and onions in mine were nicely sauted and overall, the flavor of the cheese sauce and creol seasoning was good. This place is an incredible value for what you pay. The comments I see that are less than 2-3 stars are silly. Honestly, how have you not eaten wings and gotten a feather or root of one? What's it matter? It's a dead bird, you can only do so much. eat around it. Also, salt is good. :D Have fun Atlanta!
