Dinner combo 3 (chicken shawarma and kufta kabob) Includes rice, falafel, hummus, salad, pita and meat

This is my go to restaurant for Mediterranean food. Love the proximity to my house, quick service and great food. I've done more takeout here than dining in but the food is delicious nonetheless. I've eaten the plates, which come with a generous portion of rice, meat of your choice, hummus, pita and salad. The sandwiches are plentiful too - I usually get them for lunch and come with a side of fries (which my kid usually gobbles down). I can't say anything is bad here though I tend to get the mixed shawarma plates/sandwiches more often. Also - get their hot sauce. It goes so well with the food. Perfect if you like some heat. And don't forget their baklava. It's a perfect end to a hearty and delicious meal.

I do taste a difference between middle eastern food so I always ask, this is owned by a Palestinian and the food was as good as palastanian food is concerned. The beef shwarma is not as citrusy as Lebanese shwarma but very good flavor of warm spices. We also ordered falafel. These were very crispy on the outside and soft inside. I did not like the tahini sauce it came with. It had almost like a spoiled taste to it. It lacked the toasted sesame flavor. The portions are as every review I read said they were and for a good price. The hummus we ordered was silky and a good citrus flavor not too garlicky. We ran out of pita and the server was so nice to bring us another pita. This restaurant is a small store front but has beautifully painted murals that evoke a sense of peace. There is a parking lot where you can park. The sign was not bright enough to see at night ( my old ) we almost missed out turn!

Wow, they definitely make authentic food here. I enjoyed every bite! I felt as if I was eating food in the mediterranean. Although I didn't interact much with the employees, they were very nice and welcoming. The food didn't take too long to come out and I would've ate in the restaurant if I had time.

I love shawarma's and I cannot lie! I was introduced to this restaurant in 2016 at a wedding. I had to find out who catered the dinner and I was told it was Ameer's. I searched quickly where they were located and once I found them, I have been addicted. The good news, it is legal and I don't have to worry about going to counseling. The food is always fresh, hot and tasty! I love their Tabouli salad so I always get a large portion as a side. (Small will not cut it) The falafels are crispy and flavorful and that is no lie! As my main course, I had the lamb/chicken shawarma platter and no need to ask if there were left overs because there were not. My friend had the lamb shank and he basically ate the bone. My other friend is vegetarian and had the falafel platter and she loved it! The restaurant is quaint and cozy. Just what you need to have a great lunch/dinner. If you are ever in the area, stop by and falafel away as you will say "you had me at tabouli"

My husband and I travel from ATL to Ringgold to visit family for all big holidays. Chatsworth, GA is about halfway for us. Twice, thanks to great Yelp! reviews, we have stopped at Ameer's Mediterranean Grill. I made a review of our first meal there previously. The latest time we had the chicken kabobs and a beef/lamb shawarma. Both were delicious. The service was pleasant and friendly. On the way out, I ordered the hummus (it is so fresh and so much better than grocery store hummus) and an order of the Lebanese salad. I paid for extra gyro bread to accompany the two appetizers. If you haven't tried the spice "Sumac," please do. I had some from Your DeKalb Farmer's Market and added it to both as we continued to enjoy the appetizers. We were the only diners in the restaurant at the time (around 1:30 pm on a Saturday). We enjoyed the hummus and Lebanese salad for several days afterward. I highly recommend this restaurant. The appetizers would be a great addition to a party/gathering of friends and family.

Great food here with fast service! I ate in the restaurant and there is a plenty of space. The soda machine area was a bit of a mess and not as tidy/clean as I would have liked so thats why I took off once star. This is more of a grab and go! The food is tasty and good prices. I would go back for take out.

The spices in the rice were overpowering and my partner didn't enjoy it as much. The potatoes were extra crunchy and a bit burnt... unsure if it was overdone or on purpose. It smelled like was it cooked in coconut oil. I would say 7 out of 10 overall. The lamb neck was recommended by the waiter. It was really good, slow cooked and the meat was tender. The sauce was unremarkable. The waiter gave us a house made spicy sauce and made this dish significantly better. I would say 9/10 overall. The hummus with the pickled mushroom was amazing. It was topped off with truffle oil and I just couldn't keep my hands off of it. I would say 10/10. I just want to point out the bill had a notice that says "tips are based on check prices after taxes" was confusing and unsure why would company charge tips on top of taxes. Our waiter was amazing so we didn't mind paying the extra but it really made us wonder about the company policy.

My girlfriend has a very strict diet due to food sensitivities, so before ordering she specifically asked about the dough, bread, and flours used in the food. Unfortunately, instead of receiving details about the ingredients, she was simply told that she could eat it. Based on that information, she ordered the meal, but later had a reaction to the dough that was used. This was frustrating because the situation likely could have been avoided if we had been given accurate information about the ingredients from the beginning. We completely understand that not every restaurant can accommodate every dietary restriction, but being transparent about what is used in the food allows customers to make informed decisions for themselves. The food itself was good, which is why we're giving 3 stars, but the service on this particular issue left us disappointed. We hope the restaurant can do a better job of providing ingredient information when customers ask, especially for those with dietary restrictions or sensitivities.

From the moment I walked in, Kameel made me feel welcome. His energy is contagious, and he genuinely engages with every customer, making everyone feel like family rather than just another order. That level of hospitality is hard to find and really sets this place apart. I ordered their best-selling Chicken Shawarma Wrap, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The halal, hormone-free chicken breast was perfectly seasoned with Turkish spices, grilled with sweet white onions, and wrapped with creamy hummus, smoky baba ghanoush, fresh cabbage salad, tabouli, and tahini in their homemade wrap. Every bite was packed with fresh, vibrant flavors, and the portion was surprisingly generous. For dessert, I couldn't resist the Pistachio Baklava, and I'm glad I didn't. The flaky filo layers were filled with pistachios and lightly sweetened with organic maple syrup instead of refined sugar. Combined with 100% olive oil and a hint of rose water, it was rich without being overly sweet and made for the perfect ending to the meal. What I also appreciate is Aviva's commitment to quality and healthy eating. They cook exclusively with 100% extra virgin olive oil, use halal, hormone- and antibiotic-free meats, fresh local produce, and avoid processed ingredients.
