I will continue to keep coming back time and time again!! This is my go to spot for when friends are visiting Atlanta. The Buckhead location is just so perfect too.

I had a great dining experience at this upscale Middle Eastern restaurant in Atlanta! Getting a reservation here can get competitive, so my friend made sure to make a reservation almost 2 weeks in advance for a group of 3. For food, we shared the following dishes:  - Pita Bread with Feta Cheese and Veggie Complimentary Appetizer: A balanced and good quality appetizer! The pita bread was warm, fluffy and nutty. My group especially liked the feta cheese so much that we had to order another round of it. - Hummus with shroom, shishito, and egg: This hummus was creamy and good. I also liked the toppings we added which added more flavor, richness, and overall depth. This also came with warm pita for dipping. - Hormuz Island Cocktail: Sweet and refreshing. It paired well with the food and I like the fruitiness of the lychee flavor. - Omani Shrimp: Absolutely delicious. Jumbo, juicy and flavorful shrimp that was even more flavorful with the side dip.  - Sabzi Polo: A renowned dish that I was a bit disappointed with. The rice was not very flavorful on its own and I did not enjoy the crispy top which was on the harder rather than crispy side. It was a good grain to go along with the meats though and the portion was big. - Lamb Kabob: This was good, but tasted and felt more like steak rather than lamb even though we asked for it rare. I wish this was more tender. Not the biggest fan of the tough pita it was served on. - Seabass: Insanely good, 100/10. The fish was buttery, flaky, flavorful and just melts in your mouth. Will be thinking about this fish for a while. Same sentiments like the lamb towards the pita it was served on though. - Spring Pea Salad: Good, but not mind-blowing in my opinion. It was a unique salad dish that my table generally enjoyed. It was a fresh element that went well with the rich dishes. The service here was great and our server gave us good recommendations upon request. I also appreciate the effort she put into making sure my walnut allergy was taken care of. The ambiance of this place is gorgeous. A great spot for dates, group celebrations, and intimate gatherings. It is a bit dark inside though, but I generally enjoyed the mood lighting. Overall, a great restaurant that I would come back to again! Would recommend this chain to anyone visiting Atlanta.

Do you like to travel but just can't get that vacation time? Well look no further than Del Bar, this breathtaking restaurant transports you to Iran with its traditional Persian dishes with influences from countries like Turkey, Lebanon, and Iraq. The interior is a luxurious sanctuary defined by its rich textiles, handwoven rugs, flora, and opulent colors. On my many visits I've gotten a plethora of dishes that have been all divine. They start you off with a complimentary sabzi plate that comes with feta, salt-water soaked walnuts, radishes, tarragon, watercress, & mint that serve as an opener and a palate cleanser in between dishes. I would recommend you order the hummus & top it off with savory lamb. As for the main course I was partial to hanger steak and the shishlik [Lamb Chops]. It's all à la cart style, so you must get the adas polo rice! Delicious is an understatement! Their drink menus doesn't fall short and since I'm partial to cucumber I recommend the Sharbat e Sekanjaben , you will not be disappointed! Of course I had to get dessert! I can't decide which one is better the baklava or the pistachio lava cake! Get both, life is too short. The staff gave excellent service that often was felt rather than seen and they anticipate our needs without being intrusive, ensuring a seamless dining experience. They have valet parking at a $10 cost. This place is perfect for any accession. Don't cheat yourself but treat yourself and make a reservation asap!

First time trying Persian food and honestly, I wasn't ready. Parking: Garage + validation or $20 valet. Choose your own adventure. Vibes: Whether you're here for a business meeting, casual lunch with girlfriends or by yourself..you're in the right spot. Service: They checked on us so much I started to feel famous. Detailed, helpful, on point...zero complaints. Sea Bass: I'm convinced this fish lived a stress‑free life because it was that tender. Melted in my mouth. Flavor for days. I just sat there blinking. Chicken Barg: Ridiculously flavorful. Juicy. Tender. I had a small emotional moment. Barg: LINDAAAAA LISTEN ... I have trauma from chewy mystery meats. This was the opposite. Every bite was tender, juicy, and seasoned like someone's grandmother was watching. Rice: Adas Polo wasn't my thing, but the Sabzi Polo......*chefs kiss* I'd fight someone for the last bite. Bottom line: First Persian meal and I'm 100% impressed. Everything slapped. 5/5 we'd come again!

Always a great time at Delbar. Love the ambiance inside the Buckhead location - its dark, lively, and upscale. I've tried a variety of the appetizers- the hummus and kashk bademjoon being my favorite. The kabobs are all great as well and my favorite thing when going to get Persian food is the tahdig. The cilantro and parsley tahdig here is so flavorful and fresh I have to order it every time. The service was also amazing - they were very busy this night and were taking a long time to bring us our second round of drinks, so we told them to hold off on it since we had already finished our food. Our server and the manager brought them to us anyway for no charge and also got us an extra condiment flight to take home with us. I love a night out at Delbar!

Okay.. this place first of all is stunning and clean, secondly the staff were so attentive and friendly, and lastly the food is DELICIOUS! Most definitely recommend everyone to give this place a try!

Came for appetizers and mocktails! Popular place so a reservation is recommended. They validate parking in the deck. We were seated outside on a cold winter night and felt perfectly fine! the heaters outside are amazing in this weather and the temperature was perfect. We ordered: Lamb Dill Labneh Wings Fries And I had the Shabar Khiyar mocktail. The entire table was delicious especially the lab neh. The wings were crispy and the sauce they came with had a hint of spice which elevated the wings. We asked for the fries well done and they came out just like we wanted. Super crispy and the dip was 10/10. Great vibes for date night, girls night out, or celebration. Our waiter Kevin was super nice and knowledgeable about the menu which made ordering super easy. Will be back!

Delicious! Very filling and perfect for a larger group! To start they brought out flatbread, some radishes, cheese, and herbs... honestly not sure what you're supposed to do with them. Do you eat them together and make a wrap type-of-thing? Or do you wait for your other food and pair these with the other dips? I'm not sure. We waited for our other appetizers to arrive and paired this initial appetizer with the following dishes. To start we tried the falafel plate, salmon kibbeh, and the eggplant dip. I love all of the onions in the eggplant dip. I also really liked the pickled beets which came on the falafel plate- a wonderful added acidity to all the rich, fried, and rather heavy dishes. I don't usually order falafel, so I am likely not the best judge, but I thought these were good. I liked the salmon kibbeh more though. For mains we ordered the sabzi pollo, short rib, honey harissa chicken, cauliflower, and sea bass. I wasn't expected to like the cauliflower, but this may have been my favorite dish! I loved the slight char, and the tahini dressing was delicious. I wish there were more pickled onions but this was very good. Pleasantly surprised! I am also not a huge fan of rice in general, but I enjoyed the sabzi pollo- I like how the top layer is nice and crisp and like the presentation of it. As for the meats, I think my favorite was the short rib- so soft and melt-in-your-mouth. Delicious though definitely on the salty side. They serve it with a rice crisp though I preferred the pairing it with the sabzi pollo and the eggplant dip or even the cauliflower. Sea bass was good- though I don't think I have had 'bad' sea bass. Honey harissa chicken was better. I would definitely reorder the chicken and short rib. Finally, after a 30 minute wait, we received our dessert- the cardamom gelato. I don't love cardamom buns but I was pleasantly surprised by this gelato. A very unique flavor and a nice way to end the meal. Light and a great palette cleanser. The food may be deserving of 5 stars, but I have to dock one, though I was considering two... because of the poor service. I could tell our waitress was trying and was friendly and smiley, but our water glasses were almost always empty and our dinner took 3 hours (I think she forgot to place our dessert order). Maybe she was having an off-day or the restaurant was understaffed... They recommend you order a handful of dishes and split family-style which we did. Everything was very tasty and quite filling. Quite large portions- especially the rice and cauliflower. Don't forget to snag a box of matches before you leave! Honestly part of the reason they kept the fourth star- such a cute box- I love the shape- very unique how long it is. I also love the pink matches inside! Such a whimsical touch. Overall, I would highly recommend Delbar's food! As a restaurant, I give my recommendation hesitantly and with a warning that you should be prepared to wait a lengthy amount of time for everything from dessert to the check, expect a longer dinner here.

I love the Inman Park location so I said why not let's try the Buckhead one. Easy reservation to make online, I'd recommend making one. It gets really busy. Cute bar area right when you walk in but does make the in/out of it all a little crammed. Our waitress was super kind and made great recommendations. We did sit and chat a lot with our friends and I think that slowed things down for the staff, and I felt a little bit of their frustrations with this but I definitely understand. The adas polo is my favorite rice, and the filet was cooked beautifully. Everything was right on par. The vibe is a bit different than Inman park, but not in a bad way. Just a little more space. Always recommend this place to all my friends and now I know the Buckhead location checks out.

Delightful Place! Our first time dining here & we had an excellent experience. Great atmosphere with nice ambient lighting and music playing in the background. It was a great setting for our dinner date with friends. Our host was very attentive and helpful with our questions about the food and we never had an empty glass. The food was delicious and fairly priced. The portions were great and our appetizers were great for sharing between the four of us. Attire, I'd say is business casual or you can dress it up too. But definitely not informal. We had a few dishes and all were perfectly seasoned and very tasty. I will definitely be dining here again.

A great location, fantastic food and excellent service. Karen our server took great care of us. The restaurant is amazing. Plenty of room for parties of all sizes. The glass room is really nice. So is the patio. You can see into the kitchen and it smelled wonderful.

    A delectable spread!

Delbar is always a win. The hummus was silky and flavorful, the olive mix addictive, and the sabzi plate with fresh herbs, walnuts, and radishes was bright and refreshing. The Adana kabobs were juicy, perfectly spiced, and the highlight of the meal. Simple order, big flavor. Always worth the visit!

The restaurant itself is gorgeous, warm, inviting and calming. We were sat out on the covered patio section, with the lovely wisteria above us and a water feature behind our table. We chose to have the Spring Tasting menu, which includes a mezze platter to start with bread, your choice of entree and a dessert platter. I chose the Kafta and my husband chose the chicken shawarma. The entrees come with a generous side of Lebanese rice. We also ordered the City of Salt cocktail and a mocktail. Starting with the drinks, they were tart, tasty and refreshing. Everything was great, but the mezze platter was the highlight. The babaganoush was the best I've ever had. It had a deep, smoky flavor and was garnished with pomegranate seeds which provided such a great burst of sweet to balance out the savory. The stuffed grape leaves and falafel were also standouts. We also ordered the pickle plate because it was calling to us and what a great idea that was! The flavors here are very intense and might not be for everyone. But if you really like pickles you should give them a try. The pickled beets were our favorite. Our entrees continued the same theme of being positively packed with great flavors. The harissa and toum complimented the meats very well. And the grilled vegetables and rice rounded everything out perfectly. The baklava on the dessert platter was also the standout. This is not the baklava you'd buy at the grocery store and was the perfect end to our meal. It's not overly sweet and is balanced with a slight savory flavor, and the texture was fantastic. There was a depth of flavor in everything that shows care and consideration while crafting the menu at Zakia. You can also see this care in the decor and ambience. I will absolutely come back again in the future and would happily recommend Zakia. I would lastly like to thank our waitress Helen in particular for making our experience so lovely. She was so friendly and helpful. I couldn't have asked for a nicer night. Everyone at Zakia made my birthday a memorable one.

The ambiance is stunning--featuring a flower-covered ceiling, a beautiful bar, and plenty of seating. The service was excellent, and the drinks were a major highlight; both the cocktails and mocktails were impressive, especially the Sunset in Tyre and the Habibi Colada. The food was incredibly fresh and vibrant. We started with the quail, whipped feta, and shrimp, followed by the brussel sprouts, batata harra, and a mixed platter. While everything was delicious, the quail, brussel sprouts, lamb, and Lebanese rice were the true standouts. Highly recommend for a stylish night out!

There was indoor and outdoor seating and we chose to sit outside as it was a beautiful night. We had amazing service, great food, in a really cute neighborhood. We were especially impressed with the staff, and we had a member come out more than once to check with one of the people dining with us who had food allergies to ensure that how they were offering the food would be safe for her. It was also impressive that this restaurant was so busy on a Monday night. There were three of us dining, and we didn't even order any of the meats, and there was plenty of food for us. From the Mazzes, we had the Omani Shrimp, which had a great dipping sauce and the Beet Carpaccio. (they were very accommodating and put the whipped feta on the side). For the Spreads, we did the hummus with mushroom, shisito and egg, which was amazing and the labneh with pickled fennel on the top. It's served with taftoun bread which I would describe as a mix of a cracker and pita with sesame on top. We also enjoyed a raw vegetable dish with radish and the most delicious apple slices. Their heirloom tomato salad was beautifully presented and plentiful. They had a flight of condiments and we were able to sample zhoug, spicy tahina and torshi, which was a mixture of pickled vegetables. We ended with a pistachio lava cake with the most delicious cardamon gelato. Overall, we had an amazing meal in their beautiful outdoor space, and we thought the food was really reasonably priced. There's something for everyone on this menu whether you're vegetarian, vegan or a meat eater.

We were greeted by smiles and a welcoming team at the host table and I quickly appreciated the Mediterranean charm of the restaurant -- I felt like I could have been in Rick's Cafe Americain or the Blue Parrot! The dim lighting offered a great blend of intimacy and privacy, while still letting me see the people at my table and the food! And the food! My goodness, the food! We had a wonderful sampling of shared appetizers. The hummus and Dill labneh were solid and would have been deemed more than worthy by my Lebanese grandmother! Olives were a revelation, and were done in a preparation that included pomegranate which paired really well with the brine of the olives! The star of the first round, however, was the whole cauliflower, roasted and spiced. Without reservation, I can say it is the most I have ever enjoyed cauliflower - and I shall return for it again! I was already full by the time my falafel arrived for my main course. Falafel was exactly as it was supposed to be, and it was good. The service has always been really great, and the owner is genuinely nice and always ready for a pleasant conversation. But sometimes the food comes out... average at best? I really only come here when I have the taste for mediterranean fare but don't feel like cooking it since it's so nearby. There are some things they do well. I like their baba ganoush, hummus, and beet salad. But other things are a bit lackluster and the meats can be a hit or miss. Sometimes it's dry, other times it's succulent. The pita is toasted, but you can surely tell it isn't made fresh. My husband is obsessed with wings and even he said the wings served here are a BIG no. Also cannot recommend the fries, as they've been notoriously dry and cold. Perhaps we should not have expected good wings given that it's primarily mediterranean fare lol. The parking situation is also abysmal. They share a really small lot and the individual spots are poorly marked. This place is off of Briarcliff and the traffic is notorious for being bad, so that makes coming and going that much harder in a lot that's already a little treacherous. When the parking lot is full, it is like playing 2-ton Tetris. I'll also note that the hours can sometimes be a suggestion, and they unexpectedly close earlier than indicated (but will leave a handwritten note). This place seems to be a local favorite. The prices are nice. I just wish it was more reliable with taste and quality.

It's tucked into a shopping center in Buckhead, but don't let that fool you, this is a hidden gem. The food? Incredibly fresh. Like, actually fresh. It reminded me of what places like Roti (in Chicago) or Sweetgreen used to be before everything got overly commercialized, clean ingredients, simple, and done right. It's a build-your-plate style setup (think Cava), but everything is constantly being refreshed and made as people order. We both went with the salmon (pretty sure it was king salmon), and it was cooked perfectly. I got mine medium with veggies and slaw no carbs and it was easily one of the best meals I've had in a while. What really stood out, though, was Chef Kameel himself. He came out, greeted guests, checked in, and was genuinely present. On our way out, he even handed out samples of a flourless date chocolate cake, which was incredible. You can tell he really cares about clean, sustainable food and the overall experience. Everything was seasoned perfectly, you don't need heavy sauces or extras. It just hits. I'm already looking forward to going back the next time I'm home. My only hope is that as it grows, it keeps this same level of quality and care, because it's special. If you're in Buckhead, go find it. It's worth it.

All of the meat is so well seasoned. I love the garlic toum and zhoug. I will not ever order from another Persian place in the city. Yalda clears them imo. And this is from a takeout perspective. I went in person with my parents. Whenever they come into town they requests the above mentioned restaurants. We decided to try Yalda. They prefer here over the others. Said the food is more flavorful, fresh. And that's coming from a Korean lady who is incredibly picky about where she eats in public. With that said, The Sandy Springs location is beautiful. Service was impeccable. Such friendly and attentive staff. Parking can be frustrating but I don't even care lol. Yalda ILY forever!

I came in before they closed but they still took wonderful care of me. They claim the chicken is hand slaughtered but I am not sure 100% as I haven't verified their vendor yet. Overall I will be coming regularly. The bathroom is also well maintained and was clean.

Let's start of with how beautifully embellished the restaurant is. It's a refined fusion of modern elegance & old-world Persian heritage, that celebrates Persian hospitality & culture. You're greeted by the hostess that radiates warmth and geniality. Once seated you're gifted a complimentary starter Sabzi Plate that includes fresh herbs, feta cheese, walnuts, Castelvetrano olives, crunchy radish, and premium walnuts. It also comes with side of freshly baked Persian flatbread. We ordered a plethora of dishes. Our favorite plates were the hummus [we paired with the mushroom add on], lamb chops, and the Adas Polo rice. Trust me get the Adas Polo rice, it absolutely mouthwatering. As for beverages there is a variety of curated cocktails that we tasted but my top pick had to be the Tehran Mule! As for desserts our favorite was the Persian ice cream sandwich, it has unique flavors with rose being one of them. So good! For parking they offer a combination of valet services and validated garage parking depending on which location you go. The dress code is business casual. It's a perfect place for any accession, I definitely am planning on coming back to try more dishes. Take my word and come check it out! Your taste buds will thank you!
