It seems Best Buy is always a fail SAVE for me. But I had a problem printing wirelessly, so we I went to a Best Buy for a solution. The problem was an HP printer that had WiFi printing capability would not make the connection. I have heard that there are blocks preset for certain cable modems that cause this issue but I decided not to spend time on the phone chasing this down. I wanted a cable to hook the printer directly up to a laptop which is not recommended by the printer company. A little tag sealing the plug-in hole for a cable said so. The cable was not an ethernet cable as you would think because it used to be that way. Now it is a specific type of USB cable with a unique plug-in adapter for a printer. Once I showed the GEEK guy a photo of the hole, he knew exactly what I needed. They did not have it in stock but he ordered it and had it shipped directly to me and it only took four days. I probably could have saved a couple of dollars buying it somewhere else but most likely that savings would have cost more traveling there because of the outrageous gas prices we all have to suffer with these days. I let Best Buy place the order because I was confident they knew what they were talking about and it would be the right cable. Sure enough, the cable they ordered worked just fine. I can now print from a laptop without needing to connect via WiFi. And if its on my phone? Well then I just email what I want to print to myself and pull it up on my laptop for printing. 100% satisfied!
