We recently traded in some old bikes our kids had outgrown and received credit towards a new or used bike for my oldest son. They were very helpful in picking out a bike that he will be able to use for years to come. They talked with him about how he would use his bike, riding trails or just around town or both and helped him find the right bike. Later when we decided to pack up the bikes to go ride trails we noticed another bike for my younger son was having back brake issues. We drove over the Kzoo Swift and asked if they had time to take a look, they came right out and adjusted the brakes on the spot so we didn't have to cancel our ride that day. I really like this little bike shop! I got my bike there last summer and I have been very satisfied with it. I have gone in there several other times to get spare odds and ends like a mirror or grease for my chain and they always have what I need. On top of that the folks who work there are such friendly people. My bike equipment knowledge is minimal so its very helpful to have people who will point me in the right direction for equipment I need. They don't come across as trying to sell me the most expensive equipment, rather they just want to help me find whatever will work best for me. Kzoo swift and it's owner, Ryan, play an important role in kzoo's bike scene. Although Ryan does sell new bikes (including Surley's who he recently became an authorized dealer of) his sweet spot is vintage bikes. If you want a sweet old bike for a few hundred bucks, Swift is perfect for you. I bought a 1978 scwinn le tour III from swift 4 years ago and rode it almost every day for a couple years. I've always had a good experience at this store, especially if you understand what their speciality is. read more

Highly recommend! Ryan and his team did a tune up on my road bike for a fair price and with a quick turn around time (about 4 days vs. the 2 weeks that I was quoted at 2 other shops). Very friendly, and helpful-- decided to purchase a new bike for my fiance as well as a bike rack for transporting. Great selection of used & new bikes and Ryan was super helpful and knowledgeable. Ryan is so friendly and he has a great little shop. I bought a hybrid used bike here, perfect for commuting and riding on Kal-Haven Trail. Also had a tune-up on my road bike - very good price. Great customer service. I was trying to fix a bike for a student in need and two bike shops said it would cost over $200. At least one of them recommend Kzoo Swift.
