    Grill masters!

I would have to say Kosk has by far the best adana kebab in town! There is a lot of love grilling the adana and the seasoning is spot on! It also helps that the meats are grilled on charcoal! Prices are fair for Copenhagen and the service is quite fast. As noted by another Yelper, their English is limited, as well as their understanding of other Scandinavian languages. Somehow my Norwegian and broken Danish helped to be understood. I definitely recommend this joint to any fans of Turkish cuisine!

In my opinion, one of the kebab places in Norrebro/NV. This place always has a line outside no matter the time of day or the weather - always a great sign. Kosk is usually my go-to place for kebab because of its location (its right down the street from me), the quality of the food, and the atmosphere inside the restaurant. The food is really great and the portions are quite large. The wraps are bigger than most of the other places in the area and I think the meat to toppings ration is great. Sometimes you get too much of the random salad stuff, but not here. The bread they use is also much better than other places I've tried. If you get one of the plates of food, I hope you plan to share it because it's TONS of food! Sometimes I think I can eat a whole one and then I get half way through it and I'm stuffed. It's a great value for your money if you're really hungry or sharing with someone. The portion of fries is also very large. The restaurant is usually very clean and I've never had a problem finding a seat. They have an American-style soda dispenser with decent, but not name brand soda, but there are no refills. There is free Turkish tea for the customers, a really nice way to end your meal. Service is friendly and fast, so if there's a line when you arrive don't expect to wait long.

Felt like authentic food Really enjoyed it, best Turkish/Lebanese food I've had in denmark It's also very reasonable I ate a mix grill plate for 74 kr and it was more than filling! The service was slightly slow and not super friendly but it was a very busy Saturday night so it's understandable

This is the best place where you can have a real kebab served by Turkish people. The atmosphere is brilliant.

Everyone else has said it better than I: You really can't go wrong with the food here (especially the shawarma durum!), particularly for this price.

I was really excited to finally have kebabs and I wanted something good, not just some random shop…read morewith meat that has been sitting in the fridge for a really long time. The staff were really nice. I asked for an English menu but they didn't have any but informed me that there is a staff member who is very fluent in English. Luckily my friend knew Danish, so it was no problem. There was quite a variety (doner, platters, sweets, turkish pizza) and prices were pretty standard. I had the lamb kebab while my friend had the chicken shawarma (I think). There was a bit too much fat in the lamb for my liking. It was well seasoned but a little tough to chew. The bulgar was flavorful but dry... I'm a bit disappointed with the food, but somewhat enjoyable. Maybe other options taste better? The restaurant is quite spacious and it looks like there's areas for large groups. They even have outdoor seating for days with nice weather.

Previously, my go-to has been Kebabistan on Istegade, which was closer to my old apartment. Tragically, it's just a little too far away now to justify a quick stop in on the way home, so I was searching for candidates for a replacement. Safir is basically always at least half full of people. On Friday nights, there is a line out the front door. My curiosity finally got the best of me last night and I tried a simple and cheap dish (shawarma salat - 30kr) last night. It was the perfect amount of food, and the meat was very good quality. I would've loved a little more "salat" in the "salat" but I was definitely satisfied at the end of the meal. My dinner dates ordered the half chicken platter, which will get a vicarious thumbs up in this review. I'm also told the ayran is second to none, and a must when eating shawarma, but I went with bottled water. Living life on the edge, always. :) Considering the value and quality for the money you spend, this place is definitely worth a visit.
