Omg what a place. As soon as you enter, the smell of chocolate is simply spectacular. The prices and the service were exceptional for the phenomenal quality of their chocolates. I can't wait to go back for more!

It's been 2 days since I visited this shop & I can't wait to go back! The chocolate here is divided in sections. In the front, there's the FrischSchoggi area where you'll see a bunch of different flavored chocolate slabs, filled with things like roasted pistachios, hazelnuts, fruit, caramel, etc. They break off the amount you want & are sold by weight. You can ask to try a piece here :) The next section is the area with the truffles & pralines, which is surrounded by walls of gift sets. Review of what I tried: I tried the milk chocolate macadamia. Let me tell you that I still day dream about the roasted caramelized macadamias in the chocolate. The pralines & truffles are not like ones you've tried in other places. These are layers of fine chocolates/pastries/brittle in each chocolate: The walnut marzipan was delicious. The marzipan was a light natural almond flavor, not like the obnoxious marzipans that are more common. It was surrounded by a delicate chocolate & topped with a crispy walnut. The Piedmontese dark chocolate was amazing. The chocolate is high quality with pieces of roasted hazelnuts inside. The Rigoletto carre was very good but compared to the other two and the chocolate slab, it was my least favorite (but still better than any chocolate you can buy anywhere else). FYI as far as the chocolate slabs go, I usually prefer dark chocolate but I have to say that the milk chocolate wasn't overly sweet like other brands. Their dark chocolate Frischschoggi tastes like the 90% dark ones so keep that in mind, or taste it before you buy it. Check it out & don't be afraid to ask for a piece to taste at the front. I'm currently scheming up an excuse to have to go to Dadeland again LOL

While walking around Miami, we decided to stop into It's Sugar, this place is a blast from my past…read more& for anyone who grew up loving real candy, made with real ingredients, real sugar..old school.. What stood out most wasn't just the huge selection of sweets--it was all the nostalgic displays throughout the store. Seeing the M&M characters brought back memories of all those classic commercials, and spotting the Tootsie Roll Pop Owl had me looking like a kid. There were plenty of other familiar candy mascots Jelly Belly ,and displays scattered throughout the store, making it fun just to walk around and look at everything. I didn't purchase anything, idea was just glad to be there. The store is packed with candy from floor to ceiling. Whether you're looking for something you haven't had in years, or just your favorite extra large candy bar, you'll probably find it here. We spent much more time browsing than we originally planned because there was always something else catching our attention. What I liked most was that the store was It's colorful, fun, and designed to make people smile. We were getting just as excited as the kids while pointing out characters we remembered from our childhood. If you're in Miami and happen to be nearby, It's Sugar is worth a stop. Even if you don't buy much, the nostalgia alone makes it a fun experience. Just be warned--you'll probably leave with more memories than candy , luckily I didn't have room in my suitcase for the candy..but plenty of headspace for the memories.

Worthy of a look just to see the amount of sugar and candy that is available these days. You can…read moreeven buy T-shirts and caps.
