A good little street for bars and restaurants; Mexican, Portugese, Italian, Brazilian, Irish and even German!

Tons of nice bars, cafes and restaurants scattered around the city and plenty of vegetarian and vegan options as well. The harbour front is well worth exploring as are some of the inner city suburbs. Classical boulevards sit comfortably beside bold contemporary buildings, giving every walk a sense of discovery. The seafood is exceptional--fresh, simple, and full of flavor, from fish markets at dawn to cozy restaurants by the water. Evenings along the Elbe feel peaceful yet alive, with ships, lights, and soft music drifting from bars and cafés. Hamburg is a must‑visit city that wins you over gently, street by street.
