So as I'm checking out this other guy told me bulk is off limits until it's been price checked, and then told me my total of 58-60 cards was almost 30 bucks. I did the math, he charged me 50 cents per card and just counted the total up, talk about price gauging. Mind you, they had boxes of bulk stacked on top of each other, so who knows what's been checked or not either, watch me get a scolding for trying to master set some things. There's other card shops that actually do free bulk, I'm definitely gonna stick to them. EDIT: So after reading the other reviews left behind, I can definitely say they do lowball for whatever you bring in. I overheard this one couple bring in some cards that sounded rather high in value based on how the responses were for what they would offer and they were gonna give them a low offer, which I think they declined on some of the cards so good for them.

From the moment I walked in, Tien treated me with respect. He took his time going through every card instead of rushing me out the door. He explained everything, answered my questions, and genuinely wanted to make sure I got the best deal possible. You can tell he actually cares about the people who walk into the store, not just the transaction. What really stood out to me was that they listened to my situation. They didn't have to. They could've just made an offer and sent me on my way, but instead they worked with me and made the whole experience feel personal. They even helped make sure my son got to keep the cards that meant the most to him, which honestly meant more to me than they probably realize. A huge thank you as well to the supervisor (I think his name was Logan the one with the tattoos). He was just as friendly, respectful, and helpful. The entire staff made us feel welcome. We ended up walking out with close too $500, kept the majority of my son's collection, and left feeling like we had been treated fairly. That's a win in my book. I've read some of the negative reviews, and after my experience, I genuinely don't understand them. Maybe some people walk in expecting retail prices when they're selling to a business, but that's just not how buying collections works. Nigel was able to answer any questions or concerns that I had and was able to book a date that worked with my schedule. I was impressed that, even though I live in Sunnyvale, Nigel came from the Long Beach area to bring and install my flagpole, American flag, LED light and an eagle that I had purchased previously for my late husband. Nigel also secured to the cement at the base of the flagpole, a dedication plaque that I had custom made for my late husband. The flagpole, flag, light and eagle look beautiful and it is very sturdy as it has been somewhat windy lately, but it has stood tall and proud. I felt the price for the flagpole, American flag and the light, including installation was very reasonable and much less expensive than I had imagined.
