But that became very obvious that it was because she was flirtatious with the clients. When I proceeded to then ask a question if they had TCG Cards (Pokemon or One Piece). She did answer that they had sold out, but then proceeded to just act like I didn't exist. Not sure, why I would need to have to be flirty just to buy an item they have behind the register. I genuinely just wanted to look at the One Piece Deck set that was behind the worker with the Comb Over. Who also proceeded to act like I didn't exist. Not my fault they're physically attractive to be my type to flirt my way into a sale. Definitely wack employees today. Anyways, definitely check out the BULGOGI KBBQ! The server barely spoke English & their service was WAY MORE EXCEPTIONAL! Great Food!

The ambiance can get a bit loud since there are table games happening behind the counter, but it's not really distracting. It actually adds a bit of energy to the place. I'd recommend going in the afternoon when it's less busy so you can get the best experience and they value the card based on TCG player price!

Body language, eye contact, and tone are lacking. I understand the hobby demographic is not high class, but from the 4 visits I've had, the employees behind the counter show less care and attention. Probably a generational issue, but in business, that doesn't matter. Proper training should be issued. Though I am also sure they would use AI to formulate a "proper" response to any concerns or complaints about what they lack. Value wise: I requested to match or get close to market value from TCG player on product, and they rejected it statong that they dont follow market since they have to make money too "you know what I mean?" This has been a trend on LGS it seems, however one LGS in Artesia/Cerritos met my request despite card/cash payment. I'm pretty sure the script would later be flipped when the market goes up after supply drops with the response of "sorry marketing value is this so we follow that." If you can ignore all that, go for it. Otherwise just look for another store or go to Card shows.

The phone doesn't even fully ring before you get sent to voicemail so I want to assume they're declining the call, but hopefully I'm wrong. Called since their opening and between the hours and still no luck talking to someone. They don't respond to their socials either. This feels very unwelcoming to new folks trying to stop by and support their shop. Unfortunately I cant comment on anything else from this shop as this was enough to deter me and my friends from wanting to visit, but it's great to hear from their community about their situation which clearly means their locals are happy playing there.

So as I'm checking out this other guy told me bulk is off limits until it's been price checked, and then told me my total of 58-60 cards was almost 30 bucks. I did the math, he charged me 50 cents per card and just counted the total up, talk about price gauging. Mind you, they had boxes of bulk stacked on top of each other, so who knows what's been checked or not either, watch me get a scolding for trying to master set some things. There's other card shops that actually do free bulk, I'm definitely gonna stick to them. EDIT: So after reading the other reviews left behind, I can definitely say they do lowball for whatever you bring in. I overheard this one couple bring in some cards that sounded rather high in value based on how the responses were for what they would offer and they were gonna give them a low offer, which I think they declined on some of the cards so good for them.

Bad service and poor communication…read more I've been trying to catalogue my MTG collection lately. I drove 40 min to get to this shop because they have a machine that scans your cards. I paid the shop to rent the machine and waited for 2 hours. Then the staff told me "We made a mistake setting this up. We can't give you the scanned info, but leave your cards behind and your email address, and we can send them over. You'll just need to scan this thing we send you." I was uncomfortable leaving my cards behind because they're important to me. But I didn't want to walk away empty-handed. So I decided to trust them and I left my cards behind. I didn't hear anything for 4 days. I had to call them and they said "Oh the employee you were talking to got sick. If you want to pick up your cards you can do that though." I asked "How about scanning my cards?" and they said "We'll message the sick employee and call you back to let you know what he says". I waited 3 more days and they didn't contact me at all. I realized they weren't going to reach out to me to resolve the issue, so I had to drive down to the store to demand my cards back. I don't know who the person running the back of the shop is. Maybe the manager. Maybe the owner. All I knew is that they had context on the whole situation and knew that I had returned to get my cards. They didn't bother to come over to talk to me. They didn't even give me eye contact. They didn't make even a single attempt at improving the situation. Not even an offer for store credit. Not even a sorry. They just shrugged and yelled across the room "machine's broken". Then they went back to puttering around and left another employee to deal with me. This other employee had no context on the situation. All she could do was hand me a cash refund and give me a confused "Sorry...?" I was treated like I was an annoyance. Someone who'd go away eventually if you ignored them. Not a respected customer who just wanted to do business. I'm not mad that the machine was allegedly broken. I'm only slightly mad that the employees aren't trained on how to use the machine. I'm frustrated that I paid for a service and they didn't bother seeing the job through to the end. They didn't communicate when they decided to give up. I trusted them with my personal card collection and they betrayed that trust. I don't even know if I have all my cards back, but I'll never know. Save yourself the stress.

She did not care and went on and on and on about how tired she is and that she wants to quit and that nobody wants to work on Sundays and how it was practically my fault. Those are all your problems lady. She then finally offered to do my next arrangement all up nice and pretty, not free, but make it nice. YOU SHOULD BE DOING THAT REGARDLESS! also why would I trust you with another order? Flowers were still delivered and eventually received all I asked was for a $50 refund to compensate for the facts that they were not delivered on the date I was guaranteed. No one even called me to let me know they would be delivered early so I could make sure someone was there to receive them. She says I'm unbelievable and says to never order flowers from her again and that they will drive back, and take back the flowers and give a full refund. And continued to go on about all her problems and how hard it is to run the store. She's sick, she's tired, she wants to quit, no body wants to work anymore and would not be giving me any partial refund without going and taking the flowers back from the recipient. On her 5th time complaining about all her sorrows and troubles I had to hang up because we all got our own problems and I didn't pay you $300 to be your therapist. RUN FROM THIS PLACE. Go anywhere else or risk paying to be a therapist for some crazy lady's sorrows

Both leis and experiences were really seamless and didn't have any problems with my order. I went and picked up the leis a day in advance too. Inside you see one of their employees making leis at the table and there's options on the wall to choose from if your walking in. If you are ordering during a busy season, I recommend ordering it asap too. Would come back if I needed to go to any other graduations in the future!

I don't believe this shop is worth visiting. Here is my recent and last experience that I will have there. Granted I made a mistake myself but after what I have to say you may agree with me that I was justified to make this post. I had called their store to ask if they had a box of the Digimon TCG b11 Dimensional Phase available for purchase. Their response was "We only have the case of them." Now granted when they said "case" my mind thought they were talking about an unopened box and they weren't selling singles. That was fine by me as I wanted to buy a whole box, however this is where the mistake was made on my part. See when they say a "case" they meant a large box with 16 boxes of the booster. A mistake on my part I'll admit. But now I'll explain my reasons for why you shouldn't offer these people your business. The shop wasn't far from my home so I was going to take a lyft there, but thanks to being so close my mom who's back was hurting all that week, offered to take me because I had been taken care of her and my dad who was sick, and unfortunately missed my chance to go to the Digimon tournament in LA. When I got there I asked them for a box, and they told me they were out. I then mentioned how I called for someone about the box, to which they explained to me that it was an unopened case of box sets. I was confused and asked. "Well can't you open it and sell me one?" Their response was that they can't because they were meant to be sold Online. ....... They couldn't sell me one of the boxes to a physical customer, but they will instead sell them to an online customer who might not be interested for who knows how many days ..... Do you understand the issue here? Now I know this may send petty and unreasonable, but let me make something clear. They aren't willing to sell a custom a product which they have available in their store, unless I was an online shopper. I understand that yes there are those less fortunate who live near a card shop, but they acted like they were the only ones capable of doing so. I could have bought a box on Amazon if I wanted, but didn't because I wanted it now and at that moment and took the time out of my day to go purchase one. The fact they couldn't sell 1 box to a customer baffles me. But this isn't the last of my complaints either. If there are any Digimon tcg fans here you'll know that each booster box comes with a box topper. For some reason this set had them packaged separately. One you buy a box from where you are buying the shop owners are meant to give you one with every box you purchase. But I had already bought 2 boxes from them in the past and never got one. I had thought that maybe this new set didn't have one this time around. It was only when I went to a better shop know as Unrated Gaming, that they aren't meant to give one to you with the purchase of a box. When I asked them they told me they didn't have it, yet they had the boxes. And at Unrated Gaming they unfortunately sold out of the boxes but they had gotten the box toppers still. And according to them every shop should have gotten a set to give with every box sold. And yet I didn't. This is all I have to say, if you wish to offer them your patronage, then by all means go ahead, I'm not stopping you. I just ask that you make sure you are getting the service you deserve, because without us they wouldn't have a shop to work or hang out at. read more

I love having a card shop so close by. They deal in variety of card games like Pokémon, Yugioh, and Dragon Ball. For the 30th anniversary of Pokemon this year, my girlfriend and I decided to complete the first edition Base/Jungle/Fossil set. There was a girl at the booth (might've been his daughter) who helped us out and made us write down all the cards we needed. After we wrote down all the cards we needed (about 60 cards, holo and non-holo), we left while they began looking for them. We gave them our phone number as well. After about 2 minutes, we were called and told to speak to the manager (Kevin) directly. Because the value for these cards were so high, he wanted to make sure we really in fact wanted the cards and knew how much they were going to cost before looking for them. He said that unless we wanted to buy all the cards, they weren't going to take them out because he didn't want to have to "pay his employees only for us to walk away" LOL what? You want us to agree to buy all the cards even before you take them out? Without even checking the condition? What on earth are you smoking? Also, did I forget to mention he charges a TEN PERCENT fee for using Venmo/Zelle/Card?? That's laughable man. He then proceeds to tell me there's a near mint Charmander 1st edition Shadowless for 2k on TCG Player. "Are you prepared to spend that much?" he asks, in the most condescending tone. Stop judging your customers man. My gf and I are Software Engineers who make a decent amount of $$ from working in FAANG. I know how much these cards cost, and I'm prepared to spend that much. You don't need to speak to people like that. You lost thousands of dollars you could have made just from disrespecting us. This shop might have the cards you're looking for, but they're so stingy and rude that buying any overpriced cards from them isn't even worth it. Even if he sold me the cards I needed for half the price, I legitimately wouldn't even buy them because my mind has created such a negative association with him and the cards already, that having them in my binder would just make me sick. It seems like other reviews are saying the same thing about Kevin and the shops pricing too. Don't bother coming here. You literally just lost out on thousands of dollars because you're an a**hole

Everything is incredibly well organized, which makes browsing a breeze. Their bulk is neatly sorted by set, the One Piece singles are easy to search through, and the Pokémon selection is especially impressive. They have separate binders for Japanese cards, $1 cards, and cards under $5, plus a fun section at the counter with great cards priced at 2 for $1. What really makes this shop stand out is the owners and staff. They're genuinely friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. They create such an open, positive atmosphere that you immediately feel comfortable hanging out, asking questions, or spending time digging through bulk. They even gave me a stack of Energy cards to paint on after I mentioned I couldn't find any in the bulk--such a thoughtful gesture that really shows how much they care about their customers. This has become my favorite shop to hunt for cards, sort through bulk, and just spend time in. I am making this review as a Digimon TCG card game player, unfortunately this place ended up being…read morea disappointment both for playing other people as well as buying cards Starting with positives really quick The store itself does look nice for the decent amount of players I'm guessing for their more popular games it's a solid way to spread people out They have this cool TCG player system where if you make an order on it but you live close by and want to pick up the card you can order to do so and save yourself some shipping costs and basically have to hold on to a card for a little bit Sadly we already have to go on to the bad news They have a Digimon tournaments every Sunday, but sadly it's pretty clear that they don't prioritize them anymore. Not necessarily their fault in this regard but be lucky if two to four people show up on a good day for a Sunday evening local However what is the store's fault is even when four people show up for a tournament proper they don't even give out the tournament participation packs even though they have a whole bunch of them in a glass case right in the front instead they just did a cash only pricing The real issue and what made me make this low review is I actually try to use the pickup a card in store been through TCG player to save myself some shipping costs Unfortunately when I went in to pick in the card and pay they apparently made a flub up when entering the card in the system They ended up trying to search for the card for like 20 minutes and just had to go up to me and apologize and said they must have screwed up and that they would have to cancel my order That was very disappointing for me as someone who bought the card early in the week and they are only open in store Friday through Sunday in the afternoons and evenings. So basically waiting a week only to be told that they can't even properly save a single Digimon card basically lost all my motivation to go back to the store to both play Digimon and buy cards from there. This System probably works well for a card game they care more about like one piece or final Fantasy or maybe even vanguard If anyone is reading this and wants to find other Digimon locals You can go to table salt in Irvine which at least gives participation packs even when the attendance is low If you want locals that have decently high attendance on average You can go to card addiction in Anaheim on Friday evenings or go to psycho Turtle in Pico Rivera on Tuesdays Thursdays or Saturday evenings

The storefront itself was a little hard to find at first because my GPS led me to the "front" that was facing the street, but the actually storefront runs out of the "back" but I probably should have checked the pictures before heading there. But once you walk to the "front" there is a sign that directs you to the "back" so it's not too hard to find. Once you start heading there, you will spot many helpful signs that may have been missed. Once I got in I was immediately greeted and helped. They have a little shelf with a variety of sleeves. I saw some on the website that I couldn't find in-store but luckily there were able to help me. I was able to gather everything that I was looking for! I would definitely come here again. The prices for sleeves were fair and the Vex Champion Deck I got was very reasonable.
