I've been here multiple times to grab some single cards, and overall it's been a great experience. Customer service is really nice every time I go (usually on chill days), they're quick, helpful, and on top of everything. The ambiance can get a bit loud since there are table games happening behind the counter, but it's not really distracting. It actually adds a bit of energy to the place. The staff member who helped me had really good vibes, which made the visit even better. Definitely worth checking out if you're into cards. I'd recommend going in the afternoon when it's less busy so you can get the best experience and they value the card based on TCG player price! read more

The shop is pretty solid for Gundam and Pokémon and One Piece locally. That said, service and value do need to be addressed. On the service side: Pretty poor honestly. Body language, eye contact, and tone are lacking. I understand the hobby demographic is not high class, but from the 4 visits I've had, the employees behind the counter show less care and attention. Probably a generational issue, but in business, that doesn't matter. Proper training should be issued. Though I am also sure they would use AI to formulate a "proper" response to any concerns or complaints about what they lack. Value wise: I requested to match or get close to market value from TCG player on product, and they rejected it statong that they dont follow market since they have to make money too "you know what I mean?" This has been a trend on LGS it seems, however one LGS in Artesia/Cerritos met my request despite card/cash payment. I'm pretty sure the script would later be flipped when the market goes up after supply drops with the response of "sorry marketing value is this so we follow that." If you can ignore all that, go for it. Otherwise just look for another store or go to Card shows. read more

This shop has the best singles selection i have seen in all the shops I've been to. The workers are awesome and very helpful. Yesterday I had made a deal with another collector to buy some singles but wanted to ensure authenticity so we met here and the workers were glad to take a look at the cards prior to purchase. This guys are worse than scalpers! If nothing scalpers stay close to market when it comes to prices this scammer charges way above market even if you show him market for booster boxes and last few sold! Everyone knows tcg player is widely used more for raw cards and collectr for sealed for it is more accurate for sealed. Go in one day and the next this scammers wants instead of 25 above market but 50! I mean again stay away from this shop! All their items an all and I mean all things are way above market! read more

I gave them a 2nd chance due to the fact that my best friend buys alot from them I didn't even know I guess that's he's local shop he heard of my review and experience and explained that wasnt the owner and he's right a workers action shouldn't have to reflect on a shop. The customer service is absolutely top notch with all kinds of game tournaments being held like Lorcana, Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon, whatever suits your fancy. Huge open space with tables all lined up to avoid the over crowding you get in many other shops. Prices are reasonable and like I mentioned, the staff are always happy to take in your extra cards. The owner Jeff has always been such an avid player and game enthusiast it is easy to see how the store has just taken off, even at their old location. Edgar and Cesar are game specialists with Edgar running the YGO scene and Cesar owning the Lorcana side of the business. Overall the shop is an icon, a store to visit to rate other stores against. I can't believe it has been a year since my husband, daughter and I have been playing Lorcana at Collectors Lounge. It's been such an amazing experience being able to see the shop grow from their Lakewood location to the new spacious and ample parking in Cypress. The customer service is really great there. I'm a mom and I love how they treat my daughter with kindness and talk to her and make her feel included. I have friends that shop at other card shops and they aren't very kind to the children. Jeff, Mandie, Cesar, Evan, and Edgar are really wonderful. They go the distance to make sure you're taken care of. Many times new players have asked my family why we chose collectors to be our local game shop. I tell them first and foremost it was the customer service we got from Cesar helping our family learn how to play the game by answering all our questions we would message him online while we were playing at home. Second it's the community. The Lorcana family here have been awesome. Everyone is so kind and patient with new players. Everyone is great with my daughter. We always look forward to playing on Saturdays at league. Also, since I mentioned this on my previous review for the old location, the bathroom is really nice and clean. Mom approved. read more

I came in yesterday for the treasure cup around 6:50 pm, I was successful on the app & I got denied by the blonde lady with curly hair as her co worker was checking me in. The other guy took my spot bc he was there longer and was a regular. They checked him in before me and he never signed up on the app to begin with. Apparently it was the last spot & to make things worse they gave me a participation pack as compensation lol read more
