Both contractors were interested in under bidding their competitor to get the job. Finally, in asking about licensing requirements to begin work, I was told it wasn't really necessary. The project manager, Mr. Vincent Cueva was extremely helpful by explaining materials to be used , time line, licensing requirement and the selection colors of shingles. When t came to cost, I need not tell you that replacing a roof is expensive. Mr. Cueva worked with us and made it affordable to have this project completed without financing. The workers were neat and reliable. After the job was completed, Mr. Cueva continued to check with us about any concerns we may have about the roof. Ed Saccomanno, Owner of Living Water Home Improvement, did, in fact, return to our home to address two (short) lengths of vinyl siding that had come loose over the past several years. We had some difficulty having this done earlier due to scheduling issues. Ed, as indicated earlier, is a man of his word, and, using his 30 foot ladder, snapped into place, two short lengths of siding that had become detached from the adjacent lengths. These two pieces of siding are located just beneath the roof line of our home on either side, much too high for me as the home owner, to safely address. Again, Living Water Home Improvement furnished and installed all new vinyl siding on our home including, cladding, where needed, shutters, vents, architectural details, gutters and downspouts. Ed worked closely with us when we were given the opportunity to choose siding and trim details including various styles, finishes, and colors. Although our project was completed several years ago, Ed and Living Water are highly recommended should your home require his services.

I had a leak in my home, which I thought had been fixed from a handyman I used in the past. The…read morerain we had 2 weeks ago, the water was dripping into my bedroom. Morris Renovations was referred to me and they came out immediately. I have had other roofing companies come out and this is the first time that a thorough check was done and I got real answers. In the past, I was told "you need a new roof" and I knew I had about 5 yrs left on the roof, I have paid for "patch jobs" and still I knew something was wrong because I can see the plastic buckling on one section of my wall that had been repairs before. Luis came out from Morris Renovations and he found active leaks that I didn't even know about and no one else saw. He also saw that instead of the leak I knew I had being properly fixed, tar was placed over the leak. When he came back to do the repairs he took pictures. There was a hole in the wood under the shingles; a large hole. So the "tar" which should never have been used, actually did nothing. We had snow the next day and then pounding rain on 1/9/24 and I was not worried about water dripping on me as I slept! Great, thorough, honest work.

Morris Renovations kept blaming the delay on the factory and on covid. I find it very hard to believe because this was late 2021, the first half of 2022 when covid wasn't that big of a deal anymore. Also, I picked Marvin windows which are made in the US using Canadian lumber. Regardless, during those 8 months, it was incredibly tough to get in touch with anyone from Marvin who could provide me an update. My "project manager" Roman was nowhere to be found and would not return my calls. The guy who answers the phone just said he didn't know anything. For "security reasons" he would not provide me a direct number for Roman so I basically had no way to reach my supposed "project manager". You can't just take a 7K deposit and go MIA. Anyway, I was just about to lose all hope, when, miraculously, after 8 months, my windows were finally ready. On the day of installation, however, it turned out that one of my windows had been "misplaced" and no one could tell me where it was or when I could get it. 2 weeks later, they "found" my window. We set up a new install date, only to get it rescheduled with less than 24h notice. I didn't even get an apology. I'm still waiting on that missing window.... Now, as to the installation itself, it was far from top-notch workmanship. I had to go around and ask the guys to add more insulation foam in spots they had missed. They scratched and damaged the new windows in a couple of places, and they broke the molding on the interior so now I have to get that replaced too. Their caulking looks like a 2-year-old did it. To top it all off, they almost yelled at me for picking a big bow window with fixed panes because it is harder to install without specialized equipment that Morris does not have.All in all, my experience with Morris Renovations was extremely disappointing. After spending the equivalent of a new car, I was expecting to at least get quality to match the price. Sadly, all Morris has to offer is good salespeople. Once you've signed on the dotted line, you will get nothing but frustration and disappointment. Learn from my mistake and find a better contractor. UPDATE: I finally got my missing window. After reading my original review, the guys really tried their very best this time. Their best is just not good enough, unfortunately. They didn't use house wrap to prevent water intrusion. They didn't shim any of my windows. They somehow managed to over-tighten some screws and had nails popping out on the finished side of a 10K bow window. Not to mention all the scratches and dents they managed to put in. Their caulking is still deplorable. And they should not be allowed to touch moulding or any finished carpentry. I am mostly mad at myself because instead of going with the contractors I know, I decided to spend a little more for "professional window installers" thinking they would actually know what they are doing. I know how hard it is to find good contractors. I really hope this review helps prevent people from doing the same mistakes I did.
