He also took care of helping fix up a caulking job in the bathroom that was not properly done by someone before him--again with precision and care. And he helped us install our new mailbox. He is our first stop for all things general contracting, and he's great about referrals if one is needed. He is prompt with returning calls and providing guidance. Highly recommend!

Our pergola on the deck tore away from the siding, taking the siding with it, trashing our deck due to snow damage. All Shawn came to "clean up" the debris two days later. There was still snow on the deck and they placed my table and eight chairs on top of each other on snow that was still to melt - the chairs cost about $1,000 each. They had no regard for our personal property. As the snow melted, the chairs shifted and some fell, causing damage. They pushed some snow off the deck and left it too close to the deck. The day after they left, the weather warmed up and the rain that was expected came. We have never had water in our basement - all of a sudden we had water coming in. As it turns out, the pile they left was now melting and had nowhere else to go, so it was coming into my basement. My son & his friend plowed & shoveled to push the snow away from the house and make a path for the snow to melt away from the house, but could niot touch the All Shawn pile - there were too many small pieces of debris, nails etc... left in the pile. It was too dangerous. All Shawn was made to come back and deal with the debris filled snow pile. They were so haphazard, careless, about it, that my husband had to go out and guide/help to get it done properly. I would not recommend this company. I did not have them come back to do the construction work to rebuild.

The bathroom sheetrock was fully water treated, primed, painted, bathroom fixtures were installed and the final result looks fantastic. Communication throughout the project was great. Effi Hanai was the Project Manager and he was diligent in getting the project completed. It was right around the Christmas holiday week but Effi and the workers were able to wrap the project up ahead of when we originally estimated and the results were fantastic. The price was very fair in my opinion and the work was done professionally. Always nervous dealing with a contractor for the first time but they were super reliable and the work service provided was high quality. Has cancelled on me 4 times already, always with an excuse. When his guys showed up originally, they came late (noon both times). Didn't clean up properly (I had to clean their mess-and that was after buying them lunch and $300 in tips). A real contractor would have been here the next day, no matter what, to fix HIS mistake. Nope.
