Each month, there's a new selection of around 15 meals. You can mix and match however you'd like--selecting different meals or multiple portions of your favorites. Pickup locations are available in North Liberty and Kathy's Pies in Cedar Rapids. Every meal arrives frozen with cooking instructions. We rarely have leftovers, but it's still more cost-effective than dining out. I appreciate that there's no subscription requirement, though you do need to order a few weeks in advance since spots fill up quickly. My husband likes to add extra seasoning to some meals for a bit more heat. I wish they offered a wider selection of non-dairy meals for those who are lactose intolerant. This is an excellent option for busy families, new parents, elderly individuals, those recovering from illness or surgery, or anyone wanting to supplement/change up their meal routine. A bit overpriced but that's to be expected at such a place. AMBIANCE: both inside and outside are comfortable although in September there were too many bugs for us outside. Inside was very nice though. SERVICE: service met expectations and were all friendly I recommend this for an "upscale meal to impress", whenever such an occasion calls for that.

They do make you choose from their preferred caterers, but they are wonderful options! As for decor, we had no problem bringing in our own & did NOT feel pressured to use the decorations Bella Sala has to offer (like someone previously mentioned in another comment). Bella Sala has a fantastic outdoor waterfall terrace you can have your ceremony in front of, there is also an adorable bridal suite where the bride & bridesmaids can get ready! Fantastic meats! They have a Sampler (ribs, brisket, chicken, sides) which is a must-try, along with meals consisting of a sandwich of any of their meats along with sides, or tacos with any of their meats. Their cornbread is just right, not too dry or too oily, and the mac & cheese and smoked gouda potatoes are tasty as well. Keep an eye on their social media since they have specials from time to time posted there (hello, pulled pork nachos) as well as their location if they are using the food truck. I was worried after the loss of another bbq place recently in North Liberty and am so happy to have found T.C. Bonez this summer!
