From the road, it looks like the centre is maybe an acre or so full of stuff, but once inside, I realized that it goes back about 20 acres! There is TONS of inventory. My husband and I bought a beautiful 12 foot tall birch tree and while we were shopping, one of the staff members picked us up in a little car-thing and drove us around the lot. The pricing is reasonable and the staff are very knowledgable. They describe in detail how certain plants and trees grow and what kind of light/water/etc. they require. I couldn't recommend this garden centre any more highly!!

The greenhouse itself is huge, well organized, and surprisingly easy to shop despite how much they have. I'd honestly love to see what the selection looks like even earlier in May, though planting too early in Michigan always feels a little risky. Prices felt very fair too, especially compared to some of the hanging basket and planter prices at local markets and pop-ups. Definitely a spot I'll be returning to.

As for the people that I dealt with, ALL were very nice to the individual. From the sales/scheduler/biller/facilitator, to the designer, and each member of the work crew. And the plants themselves were top notch (and all at full retail pricing). As for the rest (i.e.: the job itself, the quality of materials, quality the work, the attention to detail, communication with the customer and between management and the crew, professionalism, work ethic, follow-up, overall satisfaction with the experience, etc.), I'll refrain from posting the 500 word review that I wrote, and let the rating speak for itself. Simply put, the experience was not what I had expected from a company with a 30 year history in the community. None of this should come as a surprise, as there were issues at every stage. Again...Nice people (the reason for a 3 star, versus a 2 star review). Maybe I just caught them on the wrong year/decade.

I came across Miller Farms so we decided to check it out on Sunday & I'm so glad we did! Adults & children under 3 are free, which was so nice compared to all the other places you have to pay a ton of money to enter even if you're not doing any of the activities. They have a couple goats & highland cows that were adorable. You can see that they are well cared for too! In the "fun zone" there are quite a few wooden playscapes for kids, some wooden cutouts for photos, cornhole, picnic tables, a big haystack for climbing, & a beer tent with seating next to it. We had a friend with us as well, so we grabbed some drinks & hung out in the seating area. It was really clean & the bartender was quick & helpful! The corn maze was fun & pretty simple which is nice since there's young kids going through it. We were going to do the u-pick pumpkins, but it was pretty chilly, so we decided to hold off on that & just purchase pumpkins in the front. The pumpkins are only $8 & they are HUGE!!! We also got a dozen cinnamon sugar donuts & a half gallon of cider. The donuts were sooo good & I enjoyed the cider as well! I did also purchase pickled sweet garlic but I haven't gotten to try it yet. We will absolutely be back! I'm hoping that coming here can become a family tradition for us & our daughter!

The potted lavender plants were nice size. I didn't want too large. I prefer slow growing and minimal size plants. The employees helped me find the plant in the last greenhouse and recommended how to plant them. It has been just over a week and the lavender is bearing blooms and some flowers. The deer haven't eaten them yet. I am very happy for the $10 lavender pots and the results so far. Highly recommend both establishment and plants provided.

I slammed on my brakes, and went in to check it out. Holy guacamole! Their hanging baskets are regularly $14.99 each, or $12.99 each when you buy 3, so 50% off made them $7.50 or $6.50 each! No joke. I ended up spending $90 and almost couldn't fit all the plants in my car. I thought I had plenty, then I was driving up Ryan 3 days ago, July 8, and saw a sign for 75% off. You have got to be kidding me?! Screetch!!!!! Pulling over again. This time I only spent $60, and again had a time getting it all into my car. This place is awesome!!!!!!!!!
