The woman at reception, who I understand is the owner's wife, is consistently rude, dismissive, and unwelcoming. From her tone of voice to the way she speaks to clients, there's a clear lack of basic courtesy and professionalism. Every visit, my parents and I are met with a lack of basic courtesy that immediately sours the experience. As the first point of contact and the gatekeeper to the accountants, her demeanor makes it difficult to even want to walk through the door. It's disappointing because the quality of service beyond the front desk is solid, but customer experience starts the moment you arrive. At this point, her behavior alone is enough for me to take my business elsewhere.

She is quick in replying to emails, provides detailed explanations on every question we've had. Most importantly Rachel is HONEST. When we first started using Investy Financial Services, we scheduled a sit down, face to face session in the office. This year we simply emailed all documents to Rachel and allowed her to work her magic. If she has questions, she'll fire off an email to you asap. A few days later our return was ready for review. Rachel will still offer an in-person consultation if you feel you need to review your return with her. That's how flexible she is! She also gives helpful advice if any adjustments should be made to your finances. We've paid for a CPA firm that over-bills and under delivers. We've paid for someone who promises a huge refund. Since I had only been using TurboTax before, I didn't have much experience in working with professional tax advisors and I contacted Yan after reading some reviews on Google/Yelp. The experience of using her for my CPA was completely different compared to the previous one I had. She was very detailed and meticulous in checking each detail of my situation, and also didn't pretend to know everything - if there was an issue that she wasn't clear about, she didn't hesitate to look up the necessary IRS documentation to make sure that we weren't making any mistakes. Even after our meetings in-person going over documents, she would also follow-up and double-check to make sure that I hadn't inadvertently overlooked something (and she did find a bunch of details that I had filled in incorrectly as well through this process!) She was also more interested in making sure that I understood the process and what each document was for, rather than just taking everything into her own hands and just asking me to "rubber-stamp" documents. I really appreciate her spending the effort to help with my tax literacy. The reason why the people from Vietnam VISA was denied because instead of saying, " visiting a sick father in the United States," he wrote " they are coming for medical treatment." The second mistake, they prepared the paper work, but they miss-checked a box "no" this means they lied about the paperwork. I told him that I need the paper work done soon. The man named Hien did a great job. He took care all paper work for me. He was very detailed oriented.He did it very fast. At that time, the paper needed to be mailed back to Vietnam within a day so my cousin could go to an interview. I could have gone to post office to mail it. However, he told me that his relatives were going to VIetnam that night, he said he could ask them to bring it to VIetnam for me. I was like "wow... sure". He didn't charge me for extra cost or anything. The next day my cousin got his paper work. It was amazing experience. I would highly recommend this place.
