I didn't look at any expiration dates of the foods in the freezer or cold cases but my guess would be that they would have to be checked if I were going to make a purchase of those goods. The owner was telling me that I'm suppose to scratch off the bar code area, I've never been told that by any store clerks, ever. I thought we weren't suppose to. Anyways, it's not a huge store and they don't always have everything you need but definitely convenient if you lived nearby and just needed a couple seasonings and things. We did went later in the afternoon but I think during the day they also have premade food/snacks and made to order sandwiches and drinks.

We're talking bitter melon, jicama, yuca, cactus leaves, and so much more. Their spice aisle is equally impressive, with more versions of adobo and sazón than I've ever seen in my life. They also have an extensive array of packaged spices for much cheaper than grocery stores in the area. Finally, the prepared food- I didn't get to try it, but I saw someone walking by with a hot plate of ropa vieja and saw them advertising their prepared food out front. Plenty of parking, incredibly friendly staff, self-checkout aisles... what more can you ask for! We'll definitely be back.
