We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. Mauro was very welcoming and attentive. He helped us pick out a delightful bottle of Vino Bianco. When they take a bottle out for a customer, they immediately replace it off the shelf. I was intrigued with their pappardelle with fava beans and pork cheeks (guanciale) - it was so different and delicious. My husband savored his broad pasta rolled noodles stuffed with ricotta & spinach topped with tomato and basil sauce. We finished with a traditional Piedmontese dessert called Bunet (a decadent dessert of chocolate, amaretto, macaroons and Carmel). As well, tables and counters for sit down eating. The menu includes a number of different options across the Italian dining spectrum but they will also, for example, cut a piece of beef and cook it to order for a small charge. We saw one table of what looked like a work meetup all getting custom steaks. We started off with a plate of the Farinata (a chickpea flour bread) to share and a bottle of red wine, then I had the Spaghetti Alla Colatura di Alici (anchovies, garlic, and more). It was super delicious but I had serious regrets after seeing the next table with the grilled squid that looked beyond amazing.
