I don't want to say much more specifically, because Gina was one of the best bosses I ever had, and I consider her to be a friend (as much as your boss can be a friend) If I haven't scared you off already, here are some more details about working for them: If you are hoping to becoming a security officer, it is a great company to start your career - IF you have no experience. Their starting pay averages around $12.50/hr, and they will avoid giving you a raise until they absolutely HAVE to. You do not have to carry a gun, as their officers only observe and report. They do have flexible scheduling, which means you could end up working any hours they deem necessary. They will do their best to accommodate your scheduling needs, but your results may vary - depending on your relationship with management. The supervisors they hire tend to be particularly nasty to deal with, so pay particular attention to who you are working with, and don't let your guard down with them. THEY WILL THROW YOU UNDER THE BUS IN A HEARTBEAT! In conclusion, here are many other security companies to choose from in the Denver metro area - most of which have MUCH better pay! Third, the company uses Slack for communication between personnel, but no one ever responds when you send them a message. Fourth, when you contact the receptionist regarding anything related to your guard license, she gets snappy. She is entitled and somewhat rude. Fifth, the pay for armed guards is less than most companies. Sixth, you will not receive any training on the software and apps they expect you to use. Seventh, the Field Supervisor I have dealt with is rude, condescending and does not care if you have informed the Operations Manager of important information, even if they agreed with it. The only pros I can think of is the payroll checks clear and they pay for all your licenses and related expenses.
