I simply have to add another 5 star review to the 4 that are already here; I had a divine…read moreexperience tonight.
The food here is absolutely breath-taking. As I said when I was finished eating, "If I could start all over again, I would." (in order to have the pleasure once more).
Speaking of starting, I began with the caprese salad, which had a huge ball of mozzarella in the middle, peeled tomato quarters, arugula, and was perfectly dressed. It needed absolutely nothing--not even the basil that I am used to accompanying a caprese. For my second course, I kept it simple and had the margherita pizza. It had just the right amount of cheese--enough but not too much--and a delicious generous amount if their red sauce. Finally, I finished with the tiramisu. I told my dining partner that it was really good; he tried it and told me not to "insult it" with that understatement. I believe he called it "insane". I also enjoyed the free shot of limoncello that I got for checking in on Yelp.
My dining partner had the prosciutto appetizer, parma pizza, and apple torta with vanilla ice cream, all of which we both agreed were 5-star worthy.
The service was remarkable too; our waitress was pleasant, happy, and spoke really good English. Great job.
I highly recommend that you try this place ASAP. The kitchen opens at 7:30 pm for dinner, and it was packed in there by 8:15, but there's a bar where you can get a drink if you need to wait.
Oh--if you want a price point, we spent 77 Euro for 3 courses for 2 people as well as several drinks. It was worth it. Manga!
