L'Elementare quickly PHD us on pizza!
Let's begin the grading process...
Reservation: A+
It's so easy to make a reservation here: online or in person. We actually ended up eating here twice. The first time I used Google (simple), and the second time I just asked the bartender (super simple).
Service: A+
They have a super kind, tourist friendly staff/menu. The men and women who helped us here had great personalities, as well as, recommendations of what to try. The menu was english which in a city where you don't know the native language is comforting.
Atmosphere: A+
We sat outside, both times. The outside patio is small, quaint and makes for a cute date night dinner or meal with friends.
Food: A++
Why do you think we went back twice? Their pizza was valedictorian level! Now, I will say we are the type of pizza people who love thin bases w/ crispy yet chewy crust. If you are a Detroit or deep dish loving pizza person, this may not be the pizzeria for you. Beyond pizza, they also had classic sandwiches and tasty traditional Italian bites like Arancinis. We had one, delicious! I really do not think they could fail at making anything.
Beer Selection: A+
They have a list of about 8 - 10 beers on draft. They are all local beers, which we loved. It allowed us to try some smaller Italian breweries and was a change up to the customary Peroni.
Wine Selection: A+
There was a ton to choose from... and I'm pretty sure they were all organic wines. We stayed on the beer menu each time, but would have loved to have more people with us to split a bottle. From what I could tell, their was quite a variety.
Overall: A+
In our book, they school'd our taste buds by delivering A+ quality across all boards. They passed our taste test with flying colors! read more
