Quality/Quantity - Another great find, so glad Google is strong in this country as Yelp has not really been developed yet.
A small local one man shop. And the food is made to order, so be patient. On top of this, I think we got here for a prime late lunch rush? Full house.
Brick Pastry Sheet - Not sure how to really describe this? I guess their version of an empanada? Anyway, it was my wife's order and she really liked it! It also came with a side salad.
Croque Madame - I wanted another French lunch, so I ordered another croque madame. Not as good as the amazing sandwich I got from Nou in Marseille; see my other review. But the egg was perfectly cooked!! Just the way I like it; it was NOT runny at all. Yes, I know most people prefer an over-easy egg. Also, the proportions were not perfect, a little too much bread for me. Again, see my Nou review and pictures.
Both meals also came with a decent size side salad. A perfect amount of light dressing.
Ambiance - Small local one man shop.
Indoor and outdoor seating. We chose to eat indoors as there was no shade, umbrellas, or awning outside. And we have been out in the sun all morning.
Service - 5 stars. One man army. He took care of all the customers himself. He was under a little stress, but did a good job. Positive and inviting.
He closes at 2:30pm, and another customer came in and ordered paella. They had to wait 40 minutes, but I think he made the rice from scratch, just for their order?!?! The customer was also patient and enjoyed their meal. We suggested for them to visit Cathedral Saint Nicolas where we bumped into them again. We have been fortunate enough to have befriended a few people from the US on this trip.
Price - 25 Euros, $30 US. Reasonably priced.
Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success and keep up the good (hard) work. read more
