Their showroom in the Old Bag Factory had beautiful examples of hardwood furniture in various styles which can also be seen in showroom catalogs and online. Local craftsmen construct your choices from oak, maple, cherry and other woods. The choices of finishes and hardware are many and beautiful. I ordered a television cabinet, a sofa table, two end tables and a large circular dinner table in cherry wood with a cherry finish. The quality, the fit and finish of the pieces are awesome. Just like you see in the showroom. This is the kind of furniture you would leave to your loved ones. You can spend more money at other stores for imported furniture but nothing that is comparable to Legacy's. Dave S. is the salesperson I worked with. He is extraordinarily knowledgeable about their furniture and how it is made. He welcomed my questions and gave me detailed answers. You couldn't find a more helpful and patient sales rep anywhere. Unfortunately, when we drove to Weaver Furniture Barn, she wasn't working. The good news was that Paul was there and has been amazing. He has been working above and below to get the right Amish bedroom furniture that matches what we bought back in 2013 from a now closed store. He called one builder to make sure the items were built like we thought we saw on pictures on-line because he wanted to make sure that if we ordered them, that they would be what we expected, that and we'd be happy. He also called another builder to see if that builder could make a top that matched our furniture, and said that if that builder could not, he would build it for us for a very nominal charge. When it's time to buy living room furniture, we will be back for sure. The price for Amish furniture may be a slightly higher than what you get at all big box furniture stores, but it will last forever, and not only can you choose the wood your furniture is made of, but you also pick the stain color or paint color.

I understand that it's a pain getting everything in line with what insurance will cover in a situation like this but that is no way to treat a customer or a person in general. This is an industry wide problem, Larimer has no control over this at all.

From the first time we walked in the door we were greeted, asked if we were looking for anything specific, guided to the area we were looking for (not just pointed) and the sales associate stayed with us the entire time while we were pondering colors & materials, answered all our questions & guided us to what would best meet our wants. We had color & product picked out in the time we were there. Then Gary came out to measure everything. While he was there, we discovered that the product we picked out would not work. THANK GOD FOR GARY!!!! If we would have went with another person that was also at our house, we would have been stuck with a stalled project while we ran around trying to find a fix. Not Gary, he spotted the potential issue right away & helped us with an alternative plan. Now some real magic - we have a 100+ year old home & here comes Josh who simply worked magic during the install. Having an older home, you are always going to have opportunities, and Josh was able to handle it all from crooked walls to over width floors. He is simply AMAZING!!!! We already have another floor project planned with them and I am looking forward to the results.
