However, over the 22 yrs our vapor barrier installed when the house was new, had become very dirty. Additionally, in 2017 we did some renovations which required plumbers and electricians to work under the house. Unfortunately, all these comings and goings across our vapor barrier had ripped it in places. Plus the builder had used a lighter weight plastic. I had 4 different people look at replacing my barrier. I had 3 bids and Justin had the best bid. Justin and his 2 helpers showed up around 9am. They went right to work. It took them about 5 hours working almost nonstop except for water breaks. The finished product was even better than I expected. Photos attached. If you need crawl space repair/reno, do yourself a favor and contact Justin. Some of the companies you see on TV charge outrageous prices. Get a price from Justin, he's very competitive.

Cons- took twice as long…read moreas it should and they damaged everything The movers showed up high in the morning, then showed up high at the new house after 'stopping for gas'- reeking of freshly smoked weed both times. If we weren't confined to get out that day (closing day), I would have told them to leave and hired someone else. They 'forgot' the wrap for the furniture, so we had to scramble last minute and empty all the drawers into garbage bags and take them ourselves. It took them 9 hours to move a 2,000 sqft house, and they just stuck stuff everywhere. I found boxes of clothes clearly marked 'Bedroom' in the garage; we found parts of our bed inn the basement, etc. They damaged every piece of furniture they moved, scratched up the brand new hickory hardwood floors and newly painted walls in the new house. When I complained I was offered $200 compensation, and told to file with my homeowner's insurance for the rest!! -it took two weeks to get the $200 back. Spend the money on a reputable, known moving company. Zero stars if that was a choice!

I've been admiring Honest Home since it was Bluegrass Green Co. and moved onto East Market Street…read more I appreciate this store's devotion to green and recycled building products. The store's owner, Sandra, is so approachable, and you can tell she's passionate about this. Alas, I have not yet had a need for their building products. But I have purchased several of the gift items they have in the store -- another reason to check it out! Honest Home carries this fun line of cards with cut-out birds to be used in mobiles. It also has kits to build your own toys, and for Christmas, I particularly admired the ornaments and wood veneer Christmas tree garland. The store gets the veneer scraps from manufacturers, and it would have otherwise been thrown out. Honest Home brings its green mission to Christmas trees as well. And for home products, I've noticed that they carry recycled rugs, compost bins, flooring and countertops, lighting, cleaning products and paint. I am hoping to buy a home soon, so I'm looking forward to getting some green supplies to make over my new home. I'm holding out on the fifth star until then. I'm sure I'll continue to be impressed by Honest Home.
